06/01/2025: We arrived at this very renowned pastry shop to taste sospiri, the famous "nun's tits", a true delicacy!! Very soft with shantilly cream, or filled with pistachio or coffee cream etc... nice place, a nice display of sweet pastries and chocolates, good service.

07/03/2025: Found it by chance and I must say that it was a pleasure to eat in this bar/restaurant, abundant and excellent homemade dishes, kind staff and attentive to customers, unfortunately I gave one star less to the environment because it needs to be revised. I will definitely return, oh I forgot, the prices? EXCELLENT.

Nourriture délicieuse. Nous avions pris les raviolis au citron (un délice) , tagliata de bœuf et pâtes à la viande (sublimes)
Petit plus pour les parents : table à langer + chaise haute disponible
Attention par contre : réservation obligatoire.

A very precise and conscious idea of catering, based on a great knowledge of the ingredients (obviously local and of excellence), of their seasonality and of the importance of bringing tradition to the table in a refined and non-trivial way. There are many slow food products on the menu. Great knowledge in the kitchen, the dishes are all meticulously prepared, well designed and even better made. The service is courteous, attentive, friendly but never excessive. The explanations on dishes and ingredients are never lacking and are always comprehensive and interesting. Excellent winery, at various prices. The possibility of buying honey, cheeses and other products from the farm is the icing on the cake. Prices not exactly popular, but absolutely in line with the quality and depth of the offer.
20/03/2025: Posto consigliato da amici. Locale intimo, piatti ricercati con materie prime veramente di qualità... notevole la polentina con lumache così come il carciofo con spuma di stracchino. Piatti coreografici e con sostanza. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono servizio attento e gentile. Nemmeno a dirlo... ci tornerò a stretto giro.

Very beautiful locations on the fourth floor of the palace, with a terrace that will make summer lunches even more unforgettable. Attentive service and ready to satisfy any request. Excellent food, which hides a careful search for raw materials and combinations. Chef Russo participates in welcoming customers and proves to be an excellent host. Highly recommended.

22/03/2025: Delicious breakfast with excellent cappuccino. The staff is really knowledgeable about coffee, and very friendly. The location is fantastic, right on a canal. If it's a nice morning you can have breakfast on the bridge overlooking the water.

It was a spectacular meal, delicious food, and a calm and pleasant atmosphere. As for the service, it's hard to improve. We came with a friend who's allergic to nuts, and they were super attentive and even brought desserts just for him without charging us extra.
The price, without hesitation, was less than €50 per person. Perfect value for money.
23/03/2025: During our stay in Agrigento 2023, SAL8 was our absolute favorite restaurant! Although there were no tables available at the beginning, we were warmly welcomed with a glass of Prosecco - a really successful start.
The entire experience was first class: from the starter to the main course to the dessert, everything was excellent. Particularly noteworthy is the swordfish with pistachio crust – a culinary highlight!
The service was consistently attentive and friendly, and all at very fair prices. If you are in Agrigento, you should not miss this restaurant – a clear recommendation!

23/03/2025: Nice and well-kept restaurant. Normal food; with welcome entrée with prosecco. Very poor starter compared to the price (very chewy focaccia). Cappellacci carbonara good but the quantity very small. Fillet with good wine reduction. Service to be reviewed, little attention to the customer's requests and above all little desire to comply with the requests made (e.g. only after having eaten the second course, served with cooked grass, we were told that if we wanted we could choose potatoes; however this was not mentioned when ordering. Or to the request for the white wine, no alternatives were given, saying that as a type there was only the welcome prosecco and that was it. Furthermore, our request not to have the truffle in the second course was not taken into consideration possibility of removing the truffle on the focaccia of the appetizer, which obviously without our knowledge was seasoned with this.) Excellent place for foreigners and tourists, but perhaps not for locals.
