14/07/2026: I visited the inn on Sunday for lunch. I was greeted first by an enchanting garden, then by a refined atmosphere, and finally by the attentive and kind owners. The dishes were excellent: fresh, original, and tasty.
13/07/2026: The food is delicious, carefully prepared, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. The place is simply wonderful, and the owners are welcoming and kind. We'll definitely be back!

Chose from his sandwich board or talk to Paolo, in English or Italian, tell him what you like and trust this God of the sand which art to deliver the most divine combination of bread, cheese, meat and toppings to make your heart song and tastebuds dance.
06/06/2026: Delicious panini made with very fresh ingredients. Everything is prepared on the spot, and you can create your own panini by choosing the ingredients you like.
The place is conveniently located near the train station and offers seating where you can enjoy your meal, as well as access to a restroom.
The owner is extremely friendly and happy to help with ingredient recommendations.
I highly recommend this place — it is truly a hidden gem on the map of Rome and definitely worth a visit!

16/07/2026: This is a gem of a place. The hosts are so very kind and really care about the food they serve. The sandwiches..we had the Riomaggiore (lemon anchovies) and the Manarola (shrimp and zucchini) both equally delicious! We also had some great local wine! It’s a great lunch spot or early evening spot as it closes around 6. It’s at the top of the hill near the church where you can also get great views over Manarola. A trip to Manarola would not be complete without trying this place out!
15/07/2026: A very cute and welcoming little place in the center of Manarola. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the food and wines were excellent. It was a real discovery, and I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

17/07/2026: Couples' dinner on the terrace; overall, we were very pleased with the cuisine and, of course, the location.
The variety offered with the surprise menu was excellent, and the addition of a four-wine tasting was equally valuable (with numerous unsolicited but much appreciated refills).
Kudos also to the staff and chef for their attentiveness to the guests' needs.
Highly recommended.
04/07/2026: My husband and I spent a delightful evening enjoying the excellent cuisine of Chef Alfredo Russo. Care and attention to detail are the key words to describe the work that goes into creating a dish and the service provided by his staff!! Congratulations!!! We will definitely be back!!

08/05/2026: We dined at Sissi and had the "Settepiatti" menu – it was simply superb. Every course was prepared with meticulous attention to detail, perfectly balanced in flavor, and beautifully presented. We were particularly impressed by the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere – we felt completely at ease from the moment we arrived.
The service was also attentive, friendly, and highly professional without being intrusive. A truly special evening with exceptional cuisine and a wonderful ambiance. We will definitely be back!

02/05/2026: We had an amazing evening with great, attentive service and a very well rounded menu with some particular highlights
Chef Stefano also came to the tables multiple times, which added to the very good hospitality and experience as a whole.
The wine list is also something to look forward to.
All in all one of the best experiences in a star restaurant we ever had, we will definitely come back again.

Italian cuisine just as we've always dreamed of it!
Home-style cooking with quality ingredients.
Special mention for the lasagna (absolutely divine!), the homemade mozzarella, and the charcuterie.
The tiramisu is exceptional, as is the lemon cake!
A must-visit, and a huge thank you again to the owner and his wife for their hospitality.

27/07/2026: A handmade burger joint that feels authentically local. Since they make the burgers to order, the bread is perfectly toasted and the meat is fresh. It’s not worth coming all the way to Pienza just for this place, but it is a restaurant worth visiting if you are in the city.
Since seating is limited, you might have to get takeout.

07/07/2026: One of the best, if not the best, places I've ever eaten. It's not just a simple meal, but a culinary experience. Excellent food, unique flavors. Barbara truly knows how to enhance each dish in a unique way. The place is very charming. Her husband, Andrea, is a poet in describing each dish, transporting you to a multi-sensory experience.
I hope everyone has this experience at least once.

17/06/2026: I've been to this restaurant twice, the first time for a graduation party, for which they reserved the basement room for us, perfect for this type of event and separated from the rest of the dining room so as not to disturb other guests.
Chef Alberto Magri was very helpful in designing a menu that would meet our tastes and those of all the guests.
The second time, I returned for a dinner for two, and again everything was perfect: delicious food and impeccable service. The quality/price ratio is also very good, considering the service, menu, and attention to detail.

Unprecedented professionalism in the dining room.
The cuisine is highly refined but still maintains its connection to the local area.
It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it.

15/05/2026: Lots of appearances, but little substance. Unfortunately, the meal was marred by the incessant barking of a dog, ignored by both the owners and the restaurant staff. It was almost impossible to speak, and the space was so small and stuffy that the only thing left to do was run away, as the poor dog would have wanted...
Since it's incredibly expensive, it's not worth the risk.
