Very good artisan fish sandwiches, nice cakes and deserts and friendly owners. Unusual to see this level of dedication to quality in a tourist town.

Nice café. Pleasant service. Nice teas and cakes. Suits groups of two to four due to tight seating setting.
Toilet facility wheelchair setup, though access into café will require some care (downwards ramp and then a step into café)

This is one of those wonderful, authentic restaurants that are rare but still exist. You somehow want to write about it because it is so authentic and at the same time you wish that not too many people know about it so that it remains something of an insider tip.
Wines and food of a really high standard, lovingly explained and cooked by the owner. I will gladly come again!

There is a great restaurant here, quite inconspicuously next to the church: In addition to the eponymous Cappon Magro (a traditional multi-layered dish of fish and vegetables), fish sandwiches named after the Cinque-Terre and daily specials are also served. Everything at the highest level with top wine accompaniment and very friendly and competent service. No wonder that queues regularly form here.

This was probably our favourite place we visited in our whole week in Italy. So much so, that we came here three times in four days.
We had the cappun magru which was incredible, and tried three different sandwiches, of which the octopus was our favourite. Their pastries, cakes and coffees are also delicious.
The staff were all so lovely and welcoming. The guy was also very knowledgeable about wine and gave some good recommendations on what to have with our lunch. It was also really nice to hear how much they focused on supporting small, local produce. A lot of restaurants in Cinque Terre were very much a tourist trap, so it was nice to see that this kind of place still exists.

Perfect lunch stop. We ate very tasty sandwiches with anchovies, accompanied by a wine tasting and delicious desserts
We received a very detailed explanation during the wine tasting, and the sweet dessert wine (which resembled white Porto) was delicious.
Highly recommended if you go up a bit in the village.

Siamo entrati in questo posto per caso e si è rivelata un'ottima scelta. Servizio attento e molto cordiale, in una parola impeccabile.
Il cappun magru, che da il nome al locale, era buonissimo, anche i panini speciali erano di ottimo livello.
Ci hanno consigliato un vino bianco locale (una cantina di Luni) che ci ha soddisfatto parecchio.
I prezzi sono in linea con la qualità ed il servizio offerti.
Se vi trovate nei paraggi, è altamente consigliato.

Das kleine Restaurant ist im malerischen Ort Manarola in den 5 Terre.
Die Chefin ist eine sehr nette und professionelle Deutsche, die seit vielen Jahren im Ort lebt und ausgebildete Somelier ist.
Die Weinkarte ist wirklich sehenswert und die entsprechenden Empfehlungen sind genau richtig.
Das Restaurant ist sehr klein, verfügt aber auch über einige Tische draußen.
Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich.
Hauptgerichte sind die hausgemachten Panini, die für pauschal 10€ unserer Meinung nach komplett überteuert sind.
Wenn da noch Wein, Kaffee oder andere kleine Speisen dazukommen, wird es preismäßig richtig happig.
Loben möchten wir die hausgemachten Kuchen und übrigen Desserts!
