24/06/2024: During a recent visit to Modena, I had the pleasure of having lunch in a restaurant that really impressed me. Although the place isn't too quaint, the food and service were absolutely extraordinary. Let's start with the baked lasagna with spinach pasta: simply divine. The fresh spinach pasta was perfectly cooked, and the layers of ragù and bechamel combined in a harmony of flavors that made every bite a delicious experience. The portions were generous, perfect for those who love Emilian culinary traditions. For the second course, I chose the roasted guinea fowl with baked potatoes. The guinea fowl was cooked to perfection, succulent and flavourful, with crispy skin adding a nice texture. The baked potatoes, golden and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, were the ideal side dish. In addition to the quality of the food, the service was impeccable. The staff were extremely courteous and attentive, making sure our every need was met without being intrusive. In conclusion, this restaurant in Modena is a must for those who want to savor typical Emilian dishes with generous portions and excellent service, at a truly honest price. I can't wait to go back!

29/06/2024: Excellent food, excellent service, friendly and friendly owner and staff. Excellent value for money. I can't find even one negative point, in fact I highly recommend eating at this restaurant!

06/07/2024: typical restaurant of the area. Welcome and family environment: warm and hospitable. Excellent dishes: we had the fried gnocco with raw ham, tigelle, pumpkin tortelli with balsamic vinegar and parmesan, Mediterranean tagliatelle. high quality food with natural and local ingredients, the pumpkin tortelli were really special with the local balsamic vinegar (balsamic vinegar is from these parts). ham cut with a knife, fried dumpling just taken out of the fryer. Kitchen a high level. If you pass through these parts I highly recommend you stop here to savor the flavors of the place and stay in a familiar and comfortable environment. we'll be back !

16/06/2024: In transit, from Bologna to Milan, I still opted for a detour, the San Pellegrino, deserves it, friendly welcome, thoughtful towards the customer and, obviously, the Modenese cuisine, hearty and traditional cuisine, well executed, in a clean environment and welcoming, it's a shame not to find the trolley of boiled meats, but, in mid-June with 30 degrees..... I understand that it's unthinkable. Well done

24/05/2024: A restaurant that must be discovered, of a very high culinary level. The room is small, around fifteen seats at most, and the place is charming and very aesthetic. The service is provided by an elegant, smiling young woman who gives very good advice. We took the traditional four-course tasting menu without counting the starter supplements, before dessert and final sweets. It's very hearty and above all very good. Inventive cuisine, with very good products and presentations worthy of a starred restaurant. We had a very good evening and highly recommend this address.

17/04/2024: This is a top class restaurant. The service is impeccable. Everything is thought out down to the details. The food is perfect, the wine is perfectly matched. At the end, you can taste an excellent grappa. This is not a michelin restaurant, but an experience like a two-star michelin restaurant. In my opinion, the prices are too low for this level.

29/06/2024: Price too high. We took tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and there wasn't even a hint of porcini mushrooms (obviously it's not the season and they should have been frozen). They didn't even brown them, they were boiled with a base of oil mixed with the mushroom vegetation water. €22 a plate of boiled meat...an exaggeration. €88 for two; two glasses of wine (medium quality), two plates of pasta, 1 portion of boiled meat, 1 portion of cake and ½ portion of tiramisu.

15/06/2024: We loved this place. Friendly helpful staff and great food. Very busy with local Italian's, so that is always an indication of a good restaurant. Our only regret was that we only found this place on our final night in Modena. Had we found it earlier we would have visited several times during our stay.

07/06/2024: Weep for joy at this kind of trattoria, it's exactly why you came to Modena. The people are your friend from the minute you walk in the door, small and intimate dining room, and food like you are in someone's home and not a restaurant. A perfect evening out.

28/06/2024: We have been to Aldina many times and it never fails to please. Simple, basic, delicious food. When we visit Modena, this is always on our list. On our last visit, they only took cash, so be prepared.

16/07/2024: We didn't even have time to order, but maybe it was for the best. The owner was really rude, addressing us in a grumpy manner and without any respect for the customer. Furthermore, she handed us the water and wine as we passed the kitchen so she wouldn't have to bring them to our table. We got up and left immediately.
