31/07/2026: I returned to Casolare dei Segreti after several years for a wedding, and it was completely reaffirmed. Despite being a magnificent venue for large events, it retains an intimate, family-like atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home, thanks to its compact and well-managed size. The panoramic views and natural setting are simply beautiful and make everything even more evocative. A guarantee!

28/07/2026: I was there for a dear friend's wedding. Everything was impeccable, starting with the catering, which was truly excellent. Perhaps the only thing that was a little dated was the rooms.

23/05/2026: The place is a bit dated, but clean, tidy, and welcoming. There are also outdoor tables, and there are two large, convenient parking lots nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful, and knowledgeable about allergies and intolerances. We have a business lunch there, and for €12 (currently) you can eat good, varied food (three choices of starters, main courses, and desserts), and high-quality food. It's always a pleasure to return. I highly recommend it.

16/08/2026: If you're passing through Ascoli Piceno, you can't miss this restaurant for dinner, not only for the delicious dishes, all made with excellent, carefully selected ingredients, but also for the kindness, courtesy, and helpfulness of the owner. He's a person who knows how to advise you on your choices, who pampers you with exceptional attention, and who makes you feel right at home. The dishes are all delicious, from the appetizer of cured meats and cheeses to the fried foods, to the first courses and meats, everything is truly worth trying and excellent value. In short, it's one of those places that stays in your heart and I highly recommend it.

14/08/2026: A truly positive review for this restaurant! Attentive service, recommended considering there were four of us, including two children. The dishes were delicious and carefully prepared. If there was a slight criticism, it would be the lack of air conditioning on a muggy evening.

You might think it's a touristy place (it's just steps from Leopardi's house), but instead we spent a relaxing evening there after visiting beautiful Recanati. These are the businesses run by serious, honest, and hard-working people that we'd love to see throughout our beautiful Italy. A well-deserved 5 stars.

Excellent dishes, and the service from the young owner is courteous and genuine. Bravo! Then, dining in the Terracina alley in the summer and enjoying the flavors of the village is unparalleled.

25/04/2026: Awesome Saturday lunch! Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert, plus an excellent Stracacio white wine! The radicchio flan in Asiago sauce and the cod carpaccio were delicious. Excellent vincisgrassi to share, delicious Sicilian-style swordfish rolls, and finally a delicious apple strudel, perhaps better than my mom's. We'll be back soon to say hello to our other brother, Daniele! Thanks again.

04/05/2026: I ate at the outdoor tables on a sunny Sunday. The location is beautiful and well-kept, with adjacent parking. The food was good, and the service was very friendly, fast, and attentive, despite the restaurant being full. I would definitely return if I were on the road again.

03/05/2026: The set menu must be decided upon when booking, and for large groups, this might not be easy. For the appetizer and side dishes, you need to count carefully because each person gets one slice, not more. The quality isn't bad, but you won't leave feeling full.

09/08/2026: Unfortunately, they ripped us off. The prices on the menu versus the bill were pure coincidence. The restaurant manager billed everyone 20 euros regardless of what they ordered, not to mention claiming it was impossible to issue two bills... in the end, what we paid was a good 40% more than what was on the menu. When asked why, the waiter said the manager decides when it comes to billing (literally)... poorly. I don't recommend these scammers. The first time this happened to me was in Italy.

12/06/2026: After reading the reviews, I thought it would be completely different. The place is well decorated, but the menu is forgettable. This one didn't live up to expectations, with limited options and high prices. The dishes don't make up for the exorbitant price; the portions are minimal, and the quality is lacking. I reluctantly discouraged it because the staff was good, though often slow.

08/06/2026: Opened a little later than the advertised opening hours. There were many varied vegetarian options. For the kids, they were happy to make pasta in olive oil which was excellent, the kids finished everything. The other dishes were also excellent and the service was courteous and fast and the atmosphere was really pleasant. A very inviting place for a meal with kids.

21/06/2026: For big appetites! As a "welcome," we were offered a red rice salad with vegetables. Then we ordered two appetizers and two main courses (which included sides) and realized we could have fed four! The portions are very generous, and everything is truly delicious. We started with a mix of cheeses and cured meats, and a mix of cold and hot cheeses. Then we had a fried platter that included chicken, lamb, potatoes, eggplant, zucchini, stuffed olives, and fried cream (and that alone was enough for two!), and a dish of roast suckling pig with roast potatoes. Two limoncellos and a single dessert (an incredibly delicious pistachio mousse with chopped pistachios). Half a liter of Lacrima di Morro d'Alba, sparkling water, bread... All for 70 euros! What can I say... If we add the kindness of the guys and the owners, I really can't find a single negative! On the contrary! Highly recommended. The photos speak for themselves.
