08/06/2025: Great restaurant with some really good and interesting dishes. The courtyard provides a calm relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the food. Service was prompt and well timed. We're going back tomorrow.

11/05/2025: I entered the restaurant “A maidda” by chance because I didn’t know it had reopened and I discovered that you can have the pleasure of eating there only on weekends. The place is suggestive and very romantic! I had the orecchiette scented with fennel… Amazing dish… Impeccable cooking and delicate and tasty fennel cream. The chef who is also the owner of the restaurant is very knowledgeable as well as very kind and friendly and the staff is very kind and very friendly He explained to us that the menu varies according to seasonal products. I also learned that the place offers experiences and culinary journeys of a certain depth. I promised myself to return more often!

26/04/2025: We had dinner here on a Saturday night and had a very good meal. Well-prepared traditional local foods, excellent flavors and very inviting combinations. The appetizer is highly recommended. Very friendly staff, particular place with some tables inside a small cave. Absolutely recommended!

Compliments to the guy, Adal, who served us and advised us what to have. Very kind and above all you can see that he cares a lot and does this job with great passion and enthusiasm. 24/06/2025: Delicious and authentic Eritrean food! We had a meat sambusa , followed by injera with a mix of meat and veggie stews — flavorful and perfectly spiced. The staff were kind and welcoming. Great experience overall. Highly recommend!

27/05/2025: The atmosphere, the food and the service were great. We really enjoyed our time. We chose “menu degustazione “ which includes various type of meat with grilled vegetables. It comes with water and wine and desert (or without). The service was fast and efficient. Thanks 🤍

10/06/2025: Unique and superlative experience, I requested the Manos Libres menu which turned out to be an incredible journey of flavors, colors and shades. The combinations, the contrasts, from appetizers to desserts, everything was taken care of with mastery and art. During the reservation phase I reported some dietary needs that the chef managed superbly. The wine pairings were perfect, the dining room staff worked in a close-knit and professional manner demonstrating great hospitality, friendliness and skill. Highly recommended, thanks for everything.

09/06/2025: Wir haben ein hervorragendes Nachtessen im Restaurant Matisse genosssen. Unser Tisch im idyllischen Garten war top, das Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam und das Essen war Weltklasse. Wir haben einen feinen Fisch, hergerichtet in Salzkruste, gegessen und dazu einen herrlichen lokalen Weisswein getrunken. Alles war sehr sehr gut und wir werden bestimmt dieses Lokal bei unseren nächsten Süditalien-Ferien wieder besuchen.
