16/05/2026: We attended a First Communion celebration and everything was excellent. They have a wonderful rooftop terrace. The restaurant also has a very pleasant terrace on the ground floor. The food lived up to the location, and the service was excellent. We have wonderful memories of our experience at I Sofá. Thank you!

We were very pleased with both the welcome we received from the entire staff (helpfulness, courtesy, presence, professionalism) and the quality of the dishes we ordered (preparation, ingredients, presentation). A classy, ​​modern, and well-maintained location in the historic center of Via Giulia in Rome. An excellent experience.

03/05/2026: My girlfriend and I went for lunch and dinner. The staff is amazing; you can tell they put a lot of passion into it. The food is also really good, perfectly spiced, flavorful, and fun to eat (since some dishes have to be eaten with your hands). 100% approved.

We tried the €80 meat menu and left with full stomachs, but with a lightness and flavor that's truly hard to find elsewhere. The wine was also good, with a selection from various regions, countries, and price ranges.

Truly excellent. 4/7/26 Update Dinner in the garden with a Hadria 37 fish menu. The dishes offered are truly special; Chef Mariano never ceases to amaze and improve, offering complex, unusual, and bold flavors. I dine here at least twice a year, and each time, besides feeling at home, I leave the table feeling admired and satisfied.

25/07/2026: We had an incredible dinner at Il Barretto’s tonight!!! From the moment we walked in, the hospitality of a family owned restaurant with hands-on owners struck the first impression. The food was out of this world. Fresh ingredients in the appetizer course, built high expectations for our risotto and pasta order. And those expectations were far exceeded with the actual taste and presentation of those dishes. On to the steak and the side dishes… the temperature, taste, and texture were all off the charts impressive. We have known that ingredients and tradition made Florentine and Tuscan cuisine, but this restaurant executed the dishes in a spectacular way. The husband and wife owners could not have been more friendly and accommodating!! We leave this experience not only as customers, but lifelong fans of the restaurant and the owners.

17/05/2026: I used a Smartbox with my sister, and we stayed in this hotel for 2 days, excellent location, 5 minutes from the station, and 700 meters from the center, excellent service and staff, kind and helpful, good dinner with 3 choices and buffet breakfast, modern rooms clean and including everything, we were very satisfied.

01/07/2026: More than a dinner, it's a treat. From the moment you enter this restaurant, you notice the attention to detail and quality present in every aspect. A glass of prosecco and a small bruschetta are offered to begin, underscoring the attention paid to the customer. The quality of the ingredients is incredible, the attention to detail and the menu are truly remarkable; nothing is taken for granted! Honorable mentions go to the pork casket (it melts in your mouth) and the ravioli (one of the best first courses I've ever eaten, sensational flavor!). The main courses and desserts are also excellent; let the wait staff recommend them! The staff are a significant added value; they are competent and well-prepared, and the atmosphere is both classy and informal when needed, thanks to the courtesy and friendliness of everyone involved. I think it's one of the best meat restaurants in the area; 5 stars aren't enough!

21/06/2026: We were at this restaurant a couple of years ago and I can definitely say it's the best meat restaurant. We happily return every time. The meat is excellent and of high quality. The owner is very knowledgeable and will advise you on what to order, and the rest of the staff is also very professional. Everything is taken care of with great attention. I recommend trying their delicacies.
