30/03/2024: Granbaita is always a certainty. Beautiful structure and well organised. This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and we will certainly return. We thank all the staff who contributed to making our stay exceptional, from the chefs to the girls at the reception. In particular, thanks to Alice who always served us with care and kindness and to the chef from Naples who delighted us with his friendliness and his dishes. Thanks also to the shuttle guys for their precious service. On the day of departure we had problems with the car and the girls at the reception immediately took steps to find a solution. 17/03/2024: Domenica dopo un'escursione piedi, ci siamo fermati presso questo locale trovato su TripAdvisor. Abbiamo ordinato un piatto misto di speck e formaggio, Spiegeleier, vino rosso, acqua, caffè. Tutto molto buono e ben presentato. Servizio preciso e cortese. Location ben curata con bella vista sulla Val d'Adige. Prezzi un po' altini, ma giustificati dalla precisione, dalla pulizia e dalla qualità. Posti auto limitati, meglio andarci a piedi. Da consigliare.

27/12/2023: Maybe it's because it's at the top of a very tiring stretch, maybe it's because of the beautiful view it offers, maybe it's because the terrace was exposed to a beautiful sun, maybe it's because the Sacher torte was sublime... this little refuge is my all-time favorite , I left a piece of my heart there <3

29/11/2023: Set in an almost "lunar" basin, it enjoys breathtaking views of some of the most beautiful Sesto Dolomites. It is one of the refuges you find if you follow the trekking/circular tour that starts from Val Viscalina. Otherwise, to get there there are various more or less demanding paths that you can choose based on your level of training and athletic preparation... (In this regard, I recommend a detailed hiking map of lengths and travel times).

07/03/2024: Coming back here is always a pleasure! Beautiful and clean rooms, wonderful cuisine with quality buffet, abundant and varied breakfast, truly welcoming spa with Matteo's aufguss which is a classy service. The structure even has a covered garage and a playroom for children. Close to Levico and convenient to the Panarotta itineraries. Matteo and the girls are extremely friendly and the price is really excellent. Thank you for your impeccable service, your attention to detail made the holiday with my family a moment of serenity!

14/02/2024: A wonderful family-owned hotel that is definitely worth the trip. In fact, it’s one of the better hotel experiences I’ve had (and I’ve had many). The spa/sauna is very spacious and filled with natural light. The food is wonderful - the chef deserves a Michelin star. We stayed in one of the modern rooms which was fine, but next time we will try a classic room to compare. Looking forward to returning.

12/01/2024: The hotel is familiar, cozy and beautiful. You'll find something for everyone. From the SPA area to the slope recommendation… The food is fresh and good! And it's on the mountain. The view is simply wonderful.

31/03/2024: Had an excellent meal there today. The bacon dumplings are really great. Likewise the tiramisu and the Kaiserschmarrn. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere was great too.

19/12/2023: We stayed at the Sandgruberhof twice. You have a very nice view from the terrace. But the vaulted cellar is also really beautiful. We can absolutely recommend shepherd’s macaroni and goulash with noodles. The price/performance ratio was okay. The service was friendly and attentive. A nice place that we would happily recommend.

19/03/2024: Excellent pizza, well leavened, highly digestible, no nighttime thirst. The waitress and cashier staff were very kind and professional. The guys in charge of the pizza are amazing, as well as competent. Highly recommended both for takeaway and especially in the dining room.

07/04/2024: A wonderful visit to Meran, good food, good wine and owners who put their hearts into it. All fresh food and largely homemade. Since everyone was close to each other and there was a larger and rather louder group, it became a bit uncomfortable and loud, but still a trattoria as you would expect. 👍 Thank you very much

06/04/2024: Leisure trip, looking at the suggestions we notice this place on the podium in the area and decide to try it. I recommend booking, it's really always full! Small place, 30-40 seats, simple but attentive and punctual service. Already reading the menu promises to satisfy the palate, all palates, meat, fish and vegetables, the most difficult part is the choice. Generous portions and well seasoned. The area is full of restaurants and certainly very good ones, but this one really deserves the visit and to be included on the podium! Until next time! 🏅

15/03/2024: Even though I have known it all my life, it is a place that I have never willingly frequented due to the service, let's call it "not very polite". I returned recently and was favorably impressed, both by the quality of the ingredients of a traditional Austrian cuisine and by the assortment of beers available, and by the service which had totally changed compared to what I remembered. The bill is in line with that of quality beer/sandwich shops. For the record, I must unfortunately point out that I was horrified when I saw a "small" Guinness served.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 ... now you can judge... Prosit

23/11/2023: Der Lanzenschuster sucht seinesgleichen: Ambiente ist großartig und die Kochunst des Hausherren ist spektakulär. Frische Zutaten, teilweise in frühen Morgenspaziergängen selbst geernteet (Pilzsaison). Dazu die liebevolle Betreuung durch das Serviceteam, angeführt durch die Hausherrin und die nächste Generation. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und sind schon auf den neuen Lanzenschuster nächstes Jahr sehr gespannt.

04/03/2024: If you like German food in a warm, welcoming environment with great food, La Buca is perfect. Excellent German beer and a killer roasted shank!
