26/06/2026: We stopped here after visiting Tyrol Castle. The seating is fantastic with a view of the castle. A small but excellent menu – delicious food 😋 and everyone is incredibly friendly. A perfect place to stop for a break – top-notch!

04/05/2026: A truly lovely place where we had excellent sandwiches (burgers and currywurst) and amazing fries. The two owners are truly kind and cheerful, and I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone! The atmosphere is relaxed, and it's surrounded by beautiful greenery and a lovely river running behind it. The dishes are simple but truly well-cooked and tasty! We'll definitely be back. Excellent value for money.

18/04/2026: If the drive home from Venice via Cortina seems long, stop here, take a break, and grab a schnitzel (or something else...)! All the restaurants along the main road were closed, and only at Happy Snack could I catch my breath and recharge for the next 200 kilometers. 🚐

11/05/2026: It's hard to feel at home during a break when you're looking for speed and rapid service. But at Wiener Haus in Assago, that's exactly what it is. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the wait for our food was pleasantly short. The food was excellent overall. We had the schnitzel, spinach ravioli, a side salad, panna cotta, and apple strudel. Everything was delicious and prepared with great care. The schnitzel, in particular, was the most delicious we've ever eaten – perfectly cooked and simply outstanding in flavor. We did deduct a point for the prices. While the quality was excellent, we found the overall price level a bit high. For example, we felt that over €6 for a wheat beer with cola was quite expensive. Nevertheless, we had a very pleasant experience and would gladly return. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food, high quality, and friendly service.

The accompanying holiday apartment is truly exceptional: spacious and generously equipped with every amenity, brand new, with high-quality furnishings, spotlessly clean, and then there's that magnificent view of the Schlern mountain! The friendliness and attentiveness of the hostess are reflected in every detail: from the hiking maps that were immediately provided, to the abundance of towels and dishes, and the availability of assistance at any time, to the helpfulness of everyone at Paulserhof, we can't find a single thing that needs changing.
