The homemade Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta) with spinach filling were excellent, as were the spare ribs, which were incredibly tender!
Plus, the service was very friendly; we felt very welcome.

04/05/2026: A truly lovely place where we had excellent sandwiches (burgers and currywurst) and amazing fries. The two owners are truly kind and cheerful, and I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone! The atmosphere is relaxed, and it's surrounded by beautiful greenery and a lovely river running behind it. The dishes are simple but truly well-cooked and tasty! We'll definitely be back. Excellent value for money.
18/04/2026: If the drive home from Venice via Cortina seems long, stop here, take a break, and grab a schnitzel (or something else...)! All the restaurants along the main road were closed, and only at Happy Snack could I catch my breath and recharge for the next 200 kilometers. 🚐

14/06/2026: From the outside, it's a romantic old building; inside, a tastefully modern and authentically furnished restaurant.
We dined there as a family and felt completely at ease. Delicious South Tyrolean dishes, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a wonderful evening that we'd love to repeat on our next South Tyrol vacation.
08/06/2026: I wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional inn in Schenna.
As a guest, you can look forward to a fantastic menu and warm, welcoming service. My group of four friends were lucky enough to snag a table at very short notice.
We each ordered different dishes and were all delighted. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
I wish the owners continued success in running the restaurant with such passion and I look forward to my next visit!

21/05/2026: A family-run establishment near St. Peter's Basilica, built in the classic Bavarian tavern style. It offers products grown in Tyrol, Trentino-Alto Adige, and Carinthia, purchased directly from the establishment's suppliers, who prepare certified, environmentally friendly and animal-friendly dishes. Entering "La Cantina Tirolese" feels like being transported to a true Tyrolean landscape in Rome, where you can enjoy excellent draft beer, typical of the region it draws inspiration from.
The staff is truly courteous and ready to serve guests.
Recommended.

But at Wiener Haus in Assago, that's exactly what it is. The staff is kind and professional, attentive to customer requests, and super fast. The food is high quality, nothing more to complain about than compliments to the entire staff.

01/06/2026: Simply wonderful; we were there with two children. The homemade food was fantastic (pasta and quark dumplings), you could taste the difference. A truly lovely hostess!
28/05/2026: It was rather a disappointment for us. Beef goulash with bacon dumplings. The meat was tough and the bacon dumplings tasteless. The outdoor furniture was quite old. The view is very nice. The service was so-so... although we were very thirsty and would have gladly spent money there. The prices were simply touristy and too expensive for what we were served.

Fast and efficient service.
The spacious restaurant, with plenty of seating, is made up of several small rooms and can sometimes be a bit noisy, especially if there are large groups of people.
09/06/2026: The two of us arrived on a Saturday during rush hour without a reservation, and the receptionist found us a table. Excellent pizza with top-quality ingredients. Highly recommended.
