19/05/2026: The waitress was very friendly, the burger was excellent, and the price was very reasonable. The Bacon Cheddar was a real winner. I highly recommend it.

14/05/2026: We discovered this place by chance before going to the nearby Tibur cinema. Everything was excellent: the atmosphere, the service, and especially the food. We had a fried vegetable appetizer (crispy, not soggy), followed by an El Capitan burger (double burger), and a chicken strip. Excellent value, definitely worth trying again!

14/06/2026: Rooster Cafe offers a great American-style breakfast in Florence. We visited last year and made sure to come back again this year. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel, which was excellent, and my wife had the chicken and waffles, which were cooked perfectly. The food, service, and consistency were just as good as we remembered. If you’re looking for a break from traditional Italian breakfast options, this is a great spot. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Florence.

21/03/2026: Our server was incredibly kind and proactively offered the Wi-Fi password, a total lifesaver for saving phone data. The Food: The Puork: Highly recommend! The gold, crunchy skin on the potato dippers was perfect, and the cheddar cream/pork sausage combo was a unique, tasty surprise. Lingotti Ripieni: The ravioli was aromatic and soft. It’s €20 for 7 pieces, which felt a bit light on the portion size (10 pieces would be the sweet spot), but the truffle sauce is delicious, save some bread to dip in it! Pro Tip: Test the offered chili oil with bread before putting it on the pasta; it’s quite strong and might overpower the delicate truffle flavor. The Atmosphere & Bill: The vibe is unconventional, there were kids playing FIFA and Minecraft in the dining area. It wasn't my favorite part of the meal. Also, note there is a €2.50 "coperto" (cover charge) per person, which is standard in Italy for dinning inside.

We found Cico's, which, from the welcome and the chat, proved to be a host from another era... and the sandwich was lovely, fresh, authentic, and so good! Well done!

13/06/2026: Awesome Experience in Florence! True Dining at Lungarno 23 We had dinner last night at Lungarno 23, and I can only describe it as a truly amazing experience! It's pure and true dining. The service was excellent, courteous, and impeccable—a true example of hospitality. The cuisine is exceptional. We had the pleasure of trying several dishes, all of the highest quality. Among the many delights, we enjoyed: The roast beef, tender and cooked to perfection. A delicious, divine beef tartare. The fried gnocchi, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, served with delicious accompaniments, including truffle. The pappa al pomodoro, authentic and full of flavor. A selection of top-quality cured meats and cheeses, excellent! A juicy, uniquely flavorful hamburger! Thank you for making our holiday in Florence special ♥️

18/05/2026: We only went for dinner. The place is truly charming and well-kept. I had a grilled rib-eye steak with a side dish, which wasn't particularly good, but we found the appetizers particularly good. Overall, we had a great time.

16/05/2026: I loved visiting L'incontro! It's so close to St. Peter's Square. The cappuccino was wonderful! The pistachio cornetto was delicious! And the service was top-notch! Super attentive and friendly! When we return to Rome, we will definitely stop by here! ☺️

10/03/2026: A very nice place, a bit out of the way, hard to get to, and not convenient due to parking. The place itself is well-decorated, with plenty of seating and a very unique second floor with a balcony overlooking the ground floor. It's frequented primarily by young people, so the atmosphere is very chaotic and rowdy, with so much noise that conversation is impossible (though we did catch an Erasmus party and a birthday party). The menu isn't very varied, the fries are hard and unpleasant, with the industrial sauces you have to squeeze out after fighting with the sticky sachets. The cocktails are watered down, and the burgers are from a discount store, cooked incorrectly and with tasteless condiments. The positive review goes entirely to the service (otherwise it would be 2 stars). We were served by a very nice, approachable, and kind young man, who approaches his work and his customers with a passion that can be seen in his eyes as well as in his words. He's a person who truly deserves to be appreciated and is wasted for a place like this. It made all the difference of the evening.
