25/05/2025: Just go. As many here have said: this is one the best experiences you can have in Sicily. Based on the quality of the cooking (and wine pairing), they are at 2 star Michelin level. One of those places where everything is delicious, where the service is warm and professional, an experience you should not miss if you are in Palermo. The next day I went to a Michelin starred restaurant in the area that has excellent reviews. It was good, but A'Cuncuma was better. Don't miss it!

29/05/2025: We went to have breakfast at this place a few days ago. The place is small but well-kept and welcoming, definitely unique in Ragusa. The breakfast was very good, especially the cappuccino! The owner was nice, kind and super knowledgeable about coffee. It was a pleasure to talk to him. We will definitely be back

30/05/2025: I was sceptical about the place when I see it was 5 starts and all the good comments but it's really a nice place. I love the wine, food, atmosphere and the cutest street along with the place decoration. I strongly recommend people to come and have this experience 😍

07/05/2025: It's a magical place! The staff are lovely, and the menu is exquisite! I had the chicken "Bonboncini," it was incredible. And the "Pistachio Parfait" dessert is a real must! If you're ever in the area, don't miss this wonderful place :)

06/05/2025: Unfortunately, I have to do a second review. Do you know why there are only positive reviews? Because the owner continues to report negative reviews (including mine) to Google for violation of privacy in order to have the inconvenient reviews removed, and every time, I have to appeal to have my review republished. In fact, I remember other negative reviews that magically disappeared🤦🏻‍♂️ Dear owner, I see that the years are passing, but the incorrectness remains the same. Criticism, even if it is not pleasant, must be accepted and used to grow and improve. I hope that this last review is more useful to you than to customers 🙏

09/06/2025: I know in the land of gelato it seems ridiculous to rave about frozen yoghurt but that’s exactly what I’m about to do! Mister Yoggi has the best frozen yoghurt I’ve ever had! It’s extremely well priced- 4 euros for a grande. The service is exceptional! Although we’ve only had the frozen yoghurt (which we ordered an obscene amount of times during our stay in Cefalu) they also have bubble waffles, crepes, pancakes, granita and gelato. All of which look delicious. When ordering the yoghurt you can choose between 3 sizes and then choose 2 sauces (one for the bottom of the cup and one for on top of the yoghurt) as well as a topping. The pistachio sauce is to die for and an absolutely must try!

13/06/2025: We went to Ammucca as soon as we arrived in Syracuse, I can only confirm the excellent reviews, excellent quality meat. Fabio and his wife are an added value, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Don't have any doubts....to try. We will definitely be back.

03/06/2025: The best food we had while travelling (in general)! The taste was incredible! The place was small and cosy, not noisy and the person who took care of us was very nice!! 12 out of 10!!

13/06/2025: Last week we went to this restaurant for dinner – and what an experience it was. It actually started with a small mistake: due to a mistake in the reservation, we unfortunately found ourselves in front of a closed door on Tuesday evening. Too bad of course, but what happened next more than made up for everything. We were given the opportunity to come on Thursday after all, and from the moment we stepped inside we were completely pampered. We were offered a completely catered evening, from start to finish down to the last detail. What service! Really rare these days. But then the food… Wow. Every dish was a taste sensation in itself. We have rarely eaten as well as tonight. Perfectly balanced flavours, original combinations and beautifully presented. The matching wines were surprising and particularly well chosen. The staff was also incredibly friendly and involved; you really feel welcome here. In short: an evening not to be forgotten in a hurry. Fantastic food, heart-warming service and an experience that you look back on with a big smile. Definitely recommended!

23/06/2025: The very kind and knowledgeable owner made us taste several particular wines, pairing them with samples of local cheeses and cured meats, other delicacies including the best arancino with ragù ever tasted. The environment is very well-kept and welcoming. A special evening away from the tourist racket, a place not to be missed

29/05/2025: We had a great time today! The wine selection (2 rosé, 2 red) was excellent, and the waiter provided excellent presentations, including information about the wines, the growing regions, and the grape varieties used. The paninis were fresh and well-filled.

21/05/2025: Fantastic food with great wines! We shared several dishes and everything we got was great: from the focaccia with panchette and burrata, to the bruschettas and orange salad with anchovies. You might just walk past it, but don't! Highly recommended!

11/05/2025: I entered the restaurant “A maidda” by chance because I didn’t know it had reopened and I discovered that you can have the pleasure of eating there only on weekends. The place is suggestive and very romantic! I had the orecchiette scented with fennel… Amazing dish… Impeccable cooking and delicate and tasty fennel cream. The chef who is also the owner of the restaurant is very knowledgeable as well as very kind and friendly and the staff is very kind and very friendly He explained to us that the menu varies according to seasonal products. I also learned that the place offers experiences and culinary journeys of a certain depth. I promised myself to return more often!

26/04/2025: We had dinner here on a Saturday night and had a very good meal. Well-prepared traditional local foods, excellent flavors and very inviting combinations. The appetizer is highly recommended. Very friendly staff, particular place with some tables inside a small cave. Absolutely recommended!

13/06/2025: Ci è stato consigliato U Maccicuni dal proprietario del B&B l, nel quale abbiamo alloggiato, come posto dove mangiare qualcosa di tipico siciliano. Aspettative soddisfatte a pieno, pur avendo possibilità di mangiare anche piatti più "nazionali". Ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra con piatti caserecci di ottima fattura e con ingredienti freschi, stagionali e soprattutto "della casa". Una menzione particolare va al proprietario Giuseppe la cui genuinità e gentilezza ci ha fatto sentire come se fossimo a casa nostra. Consigli e grandi gesti di generosità nei ns confronti ci hanno reso sentimenti di grande gratitudine verso di lui al punto di sentire il bisogno di fare un brindisi con lui alla sua salute. Prezzi più che onesti e posto assolutamente consigliato!

12/06/2025: Quel accueil extraordinaire !! Nous avions tellement chaud, nous commandons de l'eau et ils nous ont offert 6 petits sandwichs au jambon avec le sourire et un "prego, è normale" en terrasse, à l'ombre !

21/06/2025: Borgo Giarracca is more than a pizzeria: it is the place of the heart. Fabulous dough, welcoming atmosphere and an addictive Patapizza...and if like me you are a fan of patapizza I invite you to try it!!!😆 It is the place I visit every time my boyfriend and I want a good Pizza. Kind, friendly and helpful staff. And then it is very nice to come in and have the opportunity to interface with Mr. Gianfranco himself, you can see that he loves not only the cuisine, but as much as it, taking care of every detail of his entire place. Congratulations, you are a great team.
