24/08/2024: All the food was of an amazing quality. Interesting and unique flavours. The waitresses were very attentive and explained each dish. This restaurant is proud to be sicilian and it shows through its sicilian roots. Best food i’ve had in a long time.

27/07/2024: La Madia is an exceptional restaurant.
The setting is magnificent, uncluttered, there is space, the tables are very spaced apart.
The service is impeccable, of course we don't speak French here and very little English but there is an English version of the menu, and after all, we are in Sicily, let's adapt!
The food: incredible. It's very, very good, original, special mention for the octopus crème brûlée. Said like that it can be scary but this dish particularly amazed us, and we are absolutely not fans of octopus normally. The entire menu was excellent and generous.
The Chef: warm, keen to please: he completely adapted the menu for our daughter who is very picky, and served her an adapted version of each dish, for example replacing fish with zucchini or meat . Having frequented quite a few starred restaurants I think that it would not have been possible anywhere else. Just like us, she had a great time and we all had a wonderful evening.
Thank you for all this, and I invite you to take a trip to Licata, a small town that is not particularly pretty but which hides a gem.

15/06/2024: I have visited this tea room several times in winter and have had the pleasure of enjoying a wide variety of teas, each better than the last. Now with the summer I have discovered their cocktails in particular the gin and tonic made with gin tea which I highly recommend!

31/07/2024: Place discovered by chance on Maps, we went last Sunday for lunch and it was a very pleasant discovery! We took a rustic appetizer for 2 people, with parmigiana, caponata, sweet and sour meatballs, potatoes with honey (what can I say), mixed fried foods, cured meats and cheeses, all delicious and 2 first courses of macaroni alla norma and pasta with pesto, bacon and walnuts (I recommend if you want to get to the second course, just take a first course and split it because the courses are really large) both delicious 🤩 .
We concluded with a slice of tiramisu and a bitter produced by them, as well as everything else! Nice and clean environment, and what can I say about the owners who are really helpful and very nice. I can't give more than 5 stars but this place really deserves them

30/08/2024: Don’t bother - this place is a mid range restaurant pretending to be fine dining and with terrible service. Maybe they only want their customers to dress and look a certain way but the waiters didn’t even bother to look our way which doesn’t really make sense considering how affordable the restaurant is… After waiting 10 minutes, we had to ask for a menu and after this we waited another 20 minutes to try and order - we asked one waiter who wasn’t looking after our table and he told us to wait for our server while he proceeded to stand around on his phone and chat to the other servers, all while our server avoided looking our direction and swept crumbs off nearby tables. Needless to say we walked out and will never be back!
28/08/2024: waiters perhaps a little inexperienced. I think it deserves the 5 stars because I ate well even though I paid a lot but I think it was worth it. I tried many good typical dishes

27/07/2024: In general in the south I have always found myself happy with both hospitality and catering. But here we are beyond and quite a bit. A refined and elegant restaurant, a balanced choice of dishes with expertly crafted fresh local products.
Excellent service (present but discreet)
Overall superior quality...much superior.
Well done. I'll be back!

28/08/2024: The food was delicious. We had chicken tikka and butter chicken which were both very tasty. The location is good, but it gets a little loud if the table is right next to the street.
25/08/2024: Absolutely fantastic! Delicious and excellent quality food prepared with care by the chef and explained down to the smallest detail by Ichi together with a lot of courtesy and kindness. I had an explosion of taste dinner with my wife and I can't wait to go back to try other dishes. Everything was sublime and also reasonable in price. SPECTACULAR!

25/08/2024: The owner is truly a hospitable person, he has always given us good advice on an excellent mix of excellent quality sea and land starters... regarding the very good pizzas but in particular the one with the black pig... what can I say, amazing... the dessert with the babà is also excellent filled with heavenly ricotta cream (on request) normal prices based on the quality offered.
We will definitely return highly recommended.

28/08/2024: The best dinner I had during my holiday in Sicily. Truly excellent food with top quality meat and even the desserts and wine were impeccable, excellent service with the staff always attentive, friendly and kind. The value for money is also excellent.
As a native of the area I can say that this restaurant has no equal compared to the others in the area. Highly recommended
26/08/2024: Excellent experience in this place that Braciami Again and some friends had recommended to me. Very nice and hospitable place managed by Carmelo and his family, you can really see the passion in his work and in what he offers to his customers... appetizers (almost all cured meats I believe produced by them and typical cheeses of the area), very good tartare made with different types of meat cut freshly with a knife, the main dish: I took a rare Sakura Hanami recommended by Carmelo which melted in my mouth and to finish a citrus fruit dessert with babà on the bottom, excellent menu of wines, I would say everything was perfect (even the price, much lower than the standards given the excellent quality served). Definitely coming back, see you soon!
