Unfortunately, the chef wasn't there the night of our dinner; we would have happily conveyed our compliments to him verbally. The staff was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. Recommended!

30/12/2025: We went for lunch. I must say, the selection was truly excellent. The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable. The menu was traditional yet contemporary. We had cacciucchino crostini, which were tasty and delicate. The octopus on mashed potatoes was incredibly soft and delicious. The octopus spaghetti with olives was delicious, and the scampi ravioli garnished with shrimp and squid and chopped black olives. The bisque was amazing, and the bisque made all the difference. We also had two glasses of fragrant Terricciola Vermentino. Compliments to the kitchen and management. Price in line with what we ordered, about €40 per person. Definitely recommended.

24/01/2026: No photos of this one I am afraid…but the food really deserves to be photographed as it is STUNNINGLY PUT TOGETHER. We had the 5 course menu and loved every step of the evening. The best overall culinary experience of this trip.

16/01/2026: Excellent kebab, the best kebab shop in Italy! And I say this as a Palermitan. The thin piadina enhances the flavor of the kebab, and you can add the toppings to your liking! All the ingredients are prepared by them! The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and reflects their culture. The bathroom is fragrant and clean. Everything is excellent! Including the complimentary ginger tea! We'll be back!

18/01/2026: A cozy and original place! They serve traditional Tuscan food with a wide selection of dishes. We ordered the mixed antipasto, full of cured meats, cheeses, crostini, and other specialties. Among the first courses, I recommend the tortellini with ragù and the gnocchi with turnip greens. Among the second courses, I recommend the peloso. The dessert sampling plate is a must: simply delicious. The service is simple and friendly, and the owners are welcoming and friendly. I recommend a visit!

02/01/2026: The perfect experience for those who want to enjoy authentic Florentine cuisine, with the constant feeling of being at home. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Despite one of our guests having multiple allergies and celiac disease, there were no problems accommodating our requests and ensuring we had a wonderful family dinner. The appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts were simply wonderful. Thank you so much for everything.

05/01/2026: My husband and I just spent New Year's Eve at this splendid property. The apartments are meticulously designed, furnished in Tuscan style, romantic, and very spacious. The panoramic view is enchanting, and the main villa, where we had the pleasure of enjoying our New Year's Eve dinner, is a true gem. The dinner was excellent in front of a roaring fireplace, in a refined and elegant setting. Elena and Enrico proved to be impeccable hosts, welcoming and very friendly. It was a New Year's Eve that exceeded our every expectation. A huge thank you for your hospitality: we highly recommend spending a few days at Borgo Dolci Colline!

05/01/2026: My wife and I spent two wonderful days here to celebrate the end of the year and the start to 2026. Elena and Enrico are very friendly and welcoming, and are the perfect hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and completely looked after. Our apartment accommodation had everything needed and was very comfortable, cosy and inviting. We slept like babies and woke up to the sound of the birds. The food coming out of the kitchen was of a very high standard and absolutely delicious. Combined with friendly and professional service, the dining experience ticks all the boxes! Breakfast is equally excellent. There’s also a beautiful fireplace which during the winter months is used, adding another layer of comfort cosiness. Perfect rural location with an ‘off the beaten track’ feel, surrounded by nature, trees and west facing sunset views. Very convenient for exploring the more southern region of Toscana with all the beautiful hilltop villages that it offers. We would have no hesitation in returning and highly recommend Borgo Dolci Colline to anyone who might be visiting Toscana.

30/12/2025: Stopped in for lunch by chance. Excellent and plentiful appetizers with delicious first courses...perhaps a little sparse...but I'm a big fan. The value for money exceeded expectations. The place has only a few tables, but it's clean and discreet. The owners are kind and professional.

08/11/2025: We ordered two sandwiches. One vegetarian and one with lampredotto. Both were delicious, and we waited less than ten minutes for them. Recommended.

05/11/2025: Being in Lucca for several days, for my daughter wedding. Looking for the best lampredotto sandwich available, unfortunately not available at Fiaschetto, because they were out for the day, and preparing antipasti for a... wedding the next day! Fortunately for me, the same weeding that we were! :D Sooo, they brought me one lampredotto at the wedding! Excellent taste, excellent service level, I would warmly recommend Fiaschetto

13/11/2025: A pleasant discovery! I'd heard about this place and finally decided to try it, piqued by curiosity. Small but very welcoming, where you can relax and read a book! I tried a very good and unique poke. Fast service and affordable prices. It's a shame the bistro is a bit hidden, but I'd definitely go back!

12/11/2025: Special place: a bar and a bookshop, specializing in children's books, with a room for courses and meetings... To visit and return! Now there are access problems due to road reconstruction, but the uniqueness of the place is in the second entrance. Perhaps less comfortable but incredibly fascinating. Visiting the restaurant remains a priority if you pass through these parts. A plus is the service: the friendliness and affability of the owner are a plus that transforms every visit into an enchanting adventure. Update: road and access finally fixed, it is confirmed as a true oasis for a restaurant for the soul and... also the stomach... highly recommended.
