10/07/2024: In the midst of a city of with a culinary tradition that spans from the classic to the touristy, B.O.r.G.O. was a world-class gastronomic experience in a comfortable and casual setting. Chef Gabriele is a master at using the finest ingredients and Italian cooking sensibility to create innovative but approachable food. We received personal attention from Gabriele himself and could not asked for a better evening. His modest but well-curated wine list and cheese selection were the icing on the cake. Eat here now, as we will not be shocked if Gabriele's name begins to be mentioned next to other great modern Itlaian chefs like Massimo Bottura.

07/07/2024: HONEST - in food and ingredients, in service and in price! Cant recommend highly enough! The menu is simple, short and interesting - although last night it seemed to have fewer plates than appear on the web! Each plate we ate was good - ingredients, cooking and service . The rosato wine was drinkable and very fairly priced. Food was well presented, service friendly,relaxed but efficient and professional! Grazie mille!

30/06/2024: excellent first experience in a 2-star hotel, we had dinner for my partner's birthday, excellent attention to customers, non-invasive, excellent dishes, even with special combinations and you certainly won't leave on an empty stomach, also recommended for people like me might think they feel uncomfortable, they know how to avoid it, right distance between tables for the right intimacy and location which is, in essence, contemporary art, beautiful

25/06/2024: We had booked the Romantic Moments package. Included tasting menu+incl. Wine tasting + overnight stay with gourmet breakfast for two. Since the hotel is a 10-minute walk away, we asked for a transfer and were picked up by the manager and brought back later. The view from the restaurant is impressive. We had the contemporary Renaissance meat menu. The food was excellent, kudos to the chef and the whole team. Francesca gave us great advice and always served the right wine/champagne with the food. The service left nothing to be desired and clearly stood out from previous evenings in the same star segment. We had a great evening that was successful from A to Z. Rooms were great. The breakfast was great. We will definitely come back...

21/06/2024: Very attentive service. Fantastic meal. The complementary appetizers were a potpourri of amazing tastes. The cuttlefish ink risotto was so rich and full of flavor. One of our best meals in Italy.

16/07/2024: Great place, very nice hosts. The restaurant invites you to linger in the evenings. Sanitary facilities are clean and lovingly furnished.

14/07/2024: A must visit when staying in the area. Would also be worth a drive if you have a Camper or something similar. The owners are super friendly and their beer is exceptional. Also, the Food is Great and cheap compared to the Quality. Grazie mille

Elegant and refined environment, super-trained, professional and impeccable staff at the time of service. A big compliment to all the rest of the staff behind the scenes for the freshness of the products, the presentation. It will be an honor to return very soon to try a tasting menu. 24/07/2024: I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and I was happily amazed! At Scarpetta attention and care are guaranteed down to the smallest details. Right from the start, together with my family, I was welcomed and looked after discreetly by Gabriele, the owner's son. I opted for a fish-based menu and I couldn't have made a better choice: a triptych of starters, two first courses and fried food, all accompanied by a delicious white wine recommended by the very kind ARTUR, to whom I must also congratulate him for the fabulous cheesecake cake fresh fruit (so good that there wasn't even a slice left over!). For those looking for an experience to which they can return as often as they want to feel good, I recommend La Scarpetta! The photos can partially demonstrate this, definitely worth trying to understand!

19/05/2024: We chose this place for my son's confirmation lunch and I must say that we were more than satisfied, not only that for the service but above all for the dishes, excellent, exquisite. All quality Tuscan dishes. The place is not found by chance but you have to know the location. It looks like the taverns of the past and is served directly by the "very Tuscan" owner. There are some truly unique details, if you are missing some cutlery just open the table drawer and you will find what you need; coffee served with a moka like many years ago; the dishes are all with different decorations from each other. But then something truly super was the ability to manage the entire lunch by just one person at the tables, around twenty people in total and perhaps something more. Everything was perfect with the delivery of the courses, one after the other, truly super professional! I believe that "passion" in this case has paid off. Heartfelt congratulations. We will see each other again at my house, not at my house but at the restaurant "A CASA MIA" 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

01/06/2024: My wife and I spent a month in Florence and a quick pop in for a doppio espresso turned into an every morning visit. We worked our way through the pastry menu but the family made pistachio croissants and ricotta pastry were our favorites. The owner Roberto could not have been nicer from the moment we walked in. Always easy to chat with and always had a smile on his face - even taught us phrases in Italian or offered a free bottles of water for our daughter. Great food, great people and great service.

03/07/2024: The venue is very pleasing to the eye, with a series of elegant depictions illustrating Indian culture and the Hindu religion. The staff, courteous and welcoming, often took care of our needs and, in addition, the dishes were absolutely delicious and of adequate quantity. I can't wait to go back!
