06/08/2024: Small restaurant serving typical African cuisine, not far from the center of Rome. I've been there a couple of times, and both times I was fully satisfied. The restaurant, especially at lunch, is frequented mainly by people from North Africa. There is a very pleasant convivial atmosphere. The owner is kind and friendly, very willing to explain the customs of his country and give advice on food. He made us feel at home. The furnishings feature photos and typical objects which are very pleasant to browse through. Very good food, often very spicy (you can ask for advice on less spicy ones); you eat exclusively with your hands, as per tradition, so prepare your handkerchiefs to clean yourself up!

10/08/2024: Lovely place that offers dishes with incredible flavors of Eritrean cuisine. I have dined here several times and have always been satisfied, from the starters (I recommend both the meat and vegetarian sambusas), to the main courses, to the desserts (of which the sesame one is my favourite). The staff is kind and welcoming, the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, perfect for a date. The vegetarian options vary according to the season and are delicious, nothing to envy of their carnivorous counterparts. The level of spice and spiciness is adequate even for an unaccustomed palate.

09/08/2024: Punctually, as soon as there was an opportunity I called and booked for 5 adults. Reservation required due to reduced restaurant capacity to maintain safety distances). We arrive on time, we sit down, the table is sanitized and there is hand gel at the entrance. We are given the menu and we opt for the tasting menu at 17.50. In addition we take 3 whole (Ethiopian piadine), 3 Ethiopian beers (habesha), 2 canned coca-colas, one water and 3 liqueurs as a digestive (comparable to Greek ouzo). Epochal dinner, everything cooked perfectly, flavors clearly distinguishable (in other places tried the flavors were a bit messy). For two diners who don't eat spicy food, a menu without spicy food was created. The photos speak for themselves. One piece of advice I can give is to eat calmly in order to also enjoy the final dessert (baklava). Total spent 120 euros in 5. Highly recommended. Very nice owner.

We were on the terrace, and we ordered two dishes: caponata and rice with coconut milk, both incredible; to finish the cheesecake with lemon jam and the coconut flan with peach. Even the beer, which was craft, was delicious. If you are looking for a special dining experience in a quiet area of ​​Agrigento, I recommend Ginger.
