16/03/2026: We loved our time at this restaurant. We had the 5-course menu! It was incredibly generous! The staff also gave excellent wine recommendations (and not just the most expensive ones)! I highly recommend it.

06/03/2026: The menu has changed from what "google photos" has, so better to double check before coming. However, service was amazing and restaurant made the best to adjust to what we wanted. We got 2 tasting menus. Food was really good, not wow effect, but good. If you look for fine dining this is worth trying with budget 100+ per person.

01/03/2026: Great food and the service was fantastic. The entire city is of course very tourist oriented, but this place felt a little more low key and the main manager/waiter was super helpful and cool. We spent a reasonable amount of money and had a great time.

28/02/2026: Had the pleasure to have dinner here on our quick, one night visit to Florence. Great atmosphere, great food and great service from Martin who had great recommendations and knowledge for our random questions about steaks. The standouts was of course the Florentine steak, the house wine and tiramisu. We wanted to get just one to share but it was too good and ended up getting another one. Would absolutely recommend!

28/02/2026: Excellent pizza and old-fashioned prices⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Truly remarkable pizza: the dough is light and digestible, with just the right consistency (neither too soft nor too hard) and a perfect crust, somewhere between soft and crispy. You can clearly taste the authentic flavor of the wood-fired oven. The variety of options and the quality of the ingredients are also excellent. Very fair prices, it almost feels like you've stepped back in time. Very friendly staff. They offered us delicious seaweed pizzas: dry fried, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The location is small but very charming, all in wood. The only small negative was the bench at our table, which was a bit wobbly, but the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommended!

15/02/2026: Truly an excellent experience at Ristorante Al Porto! A welcoming and well-kept location, a relaxing atmosphere, and incredibly kind staff, always attentive but never intrusive. The food is simply spectacular: fresh ingredients, beautifully presented dishes, and authentic flavors that shine through from the first bite to the last. The portions are generous and the quality is top-notch, both for the fish and the other dishes on the menu. Prompt and professional service, excellent value for money. A place you'll gladly return to and one I'd definitely recommend. Kudos to the entire staff—keep it up! 👏

24/12/2025: A unique experience, with a knowledgeable, welcoming, and professional staff. The dinner was sublime, starting with the appetizers, a treat for the palate, and continuing with the delicate yet persistent first course. The second courses were an explosion of flavors, both the lamb and the cooked veal. The inevitable dessert was a must... In short, you have to try it to understand. Compliments to the chef and his team.

09/12/2025: The location is very unique. The aperitif was served in a former quarry dug into the ground and later covered with a barrel vault. Dinner took place in the cellar, where enormous oak barrels, each holding 6-8,000 liters, are stored. The simple yet refined dinner was appropriate for the unique setting.

31/01/2026: A restaurant that captivates you from the moment you arrive. The owner and chef are exceptionally kind: they love to chat, share stories, and make you feel truly welcome. Entering here is like visiting someone at home, in a familiar and authentic atmosphere. The restaurant seems immersed in a medieval setting, welcoming and evocative, capable of making you forget about time. The food is simply good, in the truest sense of the word: authentic, genuine, prepared with care and passion, without artifice. The prices are reasonable and absolutely fair, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the love that comes through in every dish. A fantastic place, where you eat well and feel even better. Highly recommended.

01/03/2026: Very nice place, a former bunker of the 2WW that extends along the length of the restaurant. I ordered the 8-course menu with wine pairing: very good and interesting dishes, using excellent ingredients and excellent technical skills, excellent value for money, not surprisingly, it is listed among the Michelin starred restaurants.

24/02/2026: We dined at this very pleasant and characteristic restaurant, with stone interiors creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed a tasting menu designed by the chef and were truly satisfied. For our entrée, we were greeted with bread, butter, and anchovies—a small touch that was much appreciated. Among the dishes, the egg carbonara was excellent, creamy and intense, and the crispy octopus glazed with soy sauce, well-executed and flavorful. The first course was a sea bass amatriciana revisited with short tube pasta, original and very balanced. The second course was the black pig ribs, tender and flavorful. We paired everything with a Franciacorta Rosé "Ele" from the Ca' de Pazzi winery, a perfect match for the dishes we ate: fresh, elegant, and of excellent quality, with excellent value. We were so satisfied and full that we didn't have time for dessert. The staff were very kind and attentive, and the cuisine was meticulously prepared: a truly pleasant experience that we highly recommend.

16/12/2025: Typical Roman cuisine: pasta caccio e Peppe and carbonara are top notch!! This is already our second time back. Excellent place for the selection and variety of wines from all over Italy. Compliments to the very kind and helpful staff!

21/02/2026: This is an exceptional restaurant! By far, the best dinner we had during our 2 week Italy road trip. Intimate, friendly restaurant with phenomenal food. Husband and wife team - charming Julia, front of house and friendly chef Gabriel was a winning partnership. The fusion cooking, Italian with Asian influence and heavy seafood bias was very welcome in meat heavy Tuscany! The scallops starter was outstanding - beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Pasta with cuttlefish was simply divine and the sea bass main course was delicious. We really appreciated Julia's wine recommendations, as a sommelier she listened to our preferences and found us a perfect Chianti and gorgeous rosé. This was our favourite dinner in Italy and exceptional value too! Thank you both, we will be back!

21/01/2026: The best restaurant in Lucca, hands down. A classy welcome, they greet you with focaccia and their own olive oil, a culinary journey that perfectly reflects the chef's journey through Asia. At the end of each course, the super-kind waitress asked how we were doing and how we liked the dishes. Speechless. The restaurant is small and very welcoming, with an elegant yet friendly atmosphere. At the end of the evening, the chef came into the dining room, and I couldn't help but congratulate him and ask for the fish soup. SPECTACULAR, PLEASE TRY IT. The price is worth it, and in fact... the only time I think I could say that, I would have paid even more and not complained. I will definitely be back.
