21/09/2025: New Year's Eve and still more than good. We've been here regularly this year too, and we were treated like good friends. The service was perfect, and the food and drinks were outstanding. Here begins last year's review: We've been here twice now, and each time the service was perfect down to the last detail (even an extra bowl for the olive pits with our drinks), the Il Pugliese DOC and Bruschetta Italia were plentiful, delicious, and addictive, and the drinks and wines were highly recommended. The location at the gateway to the old town has a great atmosphere. Each time, it's been hard to leave. We'll definitely stop here next time we're in Peschici.

The menu offers an excellent selection of beef, chicken, and pulled pork, all prepared with fresh and well-balanced ingredients. My sandwich was flavorful and well-filled, with tender, flavorful meat. The fries are also noteworthy: crispy, golden, and perfect with the sandwich. I also really appreciated the attention to detail—like the really nice stickers featuring the local brand: an original touch that makes the experience even more enjoyable. Quick and friendly service, a great option for a quality meal!

12/10/2025: We had lunch at Osteria Estoria and were pleasantly surprised. Every dish was a true delight, but the staff also made the experience truly special: everyone was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and never intrusive, making us feel pampered. Our mascot Raffo really appreciated the food, as you'll see from the photos. The atmosphere is relaxed and the setting is very well-maintained. The great added bonus is the parking, which allows for a stress-free arrival. Everything was perfect, a beautiful day. We'll definitely be back!

The only flaw is the wine list, which is too extensive and difficult to manage, and the portions of the first courses could be a bit more generous. Overall, a place worth trying, with friendly, polite, very knowledgeable, and professional staff. Interesting non-alcoholic cocktails to try, and a very interesting watermelon carpaccio. 30/09/2025: The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, and the olive ice cream palate cleanser was a standout—truly delicious. Our favorite dish was the pork cheek, which was tender and flavorful. The staff was attentive, though they seemed a bit burned out? While the plating was elegant, some dishes were slightly too salty and lacked the depth or wow factor you'd expect from a Michelin-level experience. Overall, the meal felt like it was missing a bit of the passion and joy that typically defines high-end dining. Thus 4 stars instead of a 5.

30/09/2025: Simply the best restaurant in Sorrento and the surrounding area. Excellent use of raw ingredients, meticulous attention to detail in the plating, and excellent service (the restaurant's flagship). Giampiero and his staff make this place truly unique.

07/10/2025: The location is a bit remote inland from Lake Garda, but not difficult to find; you certainly wouldn't pass it by on your usual travels. On the other hand, the place is quiet, very charming, and has parking across the street. Otherwise, I can only praise it: a quality menu featuring local dishes revisited with taste and elegance. The wine list is extensive and adequate. I personally chose the Amarone risotto with pears and the stuffed duck and was thrilled. The service was impeccable, and the very kind owner enthusiastically explained the dishes to us, revealing his passion for his work. The price reflects the quality and the work that goes into it. What more can I say? I'll just say I'd gladly return, and that's the highest compliment I can give.

10/10/2025: On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, a bright, full-moon evening, we were guests at the Ristorante "baglio." For starters, we enjoyed a freshly caught scampi tartare on crisp, aromatic leaf salad and a portion of flavorful eggplant cubes with tomatoes and Parmesan. For the main course, we had freshly caught lobster with tagliatelle, and for dessert, we chose a lemon cake drenched in fine limoncello. Everything was masterfully and tastefully prepared by Serena in the kitchen and served by her husband, a competent and caring host. All this in the unique ambiance of the terrace with a panoramic view of the sea.

The attention to presentation and the balanced flavors demonstrate the great care and passion in the kitchen. The value for money is truly exceptional—it's hard to beat. Special praise also goes to the waiter, who was extremely kind and professional, and who expertly explained each course to us, making the experience even more enjoyable. I absolutely recommend trying it, and we'll definitely be back soon!
