Disappointed by the quality of the food at many starred restaurants, I stumbled upon this delicatessen, La Fenice, by pure chance. Open only for lunch, from 11:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., closed on Mondays. I finally found "home-style" cuisine with typical local dishes. The menu changes daily, so this shows that the dishes are prepared that day, not food and sauces stored in the refrigerator for days. The kitchen is open, and the dishes are cooked to order. A varied menu includes first courses, second courses, and many side dishes. You can sit down and eat inside, at seven wooden tables for two, or you can choose from a variety of dishes for takeout. This is another plus: the food is placed in containers and then hermetically sealed, preventing oil or sauce from leaking out during transport. The quality is excellent, comparable to the dishes our grandparents used to cook. In fact, there's a familiar, welcoming atmosphere. Pleasant They explain the menu and the ingredients of their dishes to eliminate any doubts for any customers with intolerances or allergies. In conclusion, it's an understatement to call it "gastronomy." I'd describe it more as a small restaurant serving home-cooked food with fresh ingredients cooked to order.

Excellent place, unassuming from the outside, but the food is incredibly delicious. We went on a national holiday and we absolutely don't regret it. Be warned, there's very little seating. But if you're nice, you'll be rewarded.
