It was an unforgettable dinner. Nice and informal restaurant. Dishes that, with the chef's touch, go from classic to revisited. The owner recommends excellent wines and is very nice. The gem of the restaurant is the dog Bell who welcomes you and says goodbye when you leave! recommended, I will definitely return

I have dined several times in this enchanting restaurant and every time I am fascinated by the welcome of the owner and her puppy, by the warmth of the place and by the food that delights the palate. Incredible dishes, a little different from the usual even if prepared with simple ingredients. The skill of the chef is truly to be praised, in each dish he inserts a "secret" ingredient that gives everything an edge! Excellent wine selection, the desserts are spectacular, what more can I say? 😍😍😍😍

I went there because it was close to the hotel, and it was delicious and they were very friendly. I was in Italy for 2 weeks and Bologna and here were the best! The menu was Italian, so I looked for an orange and ordered puntarella salad (with red oranges and cherry tomatoes). I asked if anchovy sauce would be okay haha. I ordered it to give it a try, but you can think of it as Jeju Island spicy sauce. The puntarella had a crunchy texture and was delicious, but when I asked what it was, I was told it was chicory flower. ? You explain it like this. It was so delicious that I inhaled it! If the indoor Internet does not work, ask for Wi-Fi and they will tell you the password. Carbonara, puntarella salad, wine, and sparkling water were about 31 euros.

Locale molto carino ed accogliente, atmosfera tranquilla e intima, la proprietaria davvero gentile e il cibo ottimo. Antipasto vegetale super, baccalà anche! Da non trascurare il golden retriver educatissimo che ti accoglie all’ingresso!! 🤩

This has become one of our go-to favorites. Tumba makes us always feel at home. The atmosphere is fantastically different from the usual Roman trattoria. Done with modern art all around you. At some point everyone in Rome is tired of Carbonara and the usual. Want something healthy? Different? You come here. We always get the amazing Caponata as an app and I always get the fresh seasoned calamari over finely cut wok vegetables. Paired with the Red Primitivo. Light and fantastic. If she has it fresh, make sure to ask for the Mille Foglie for desert. It's a family place no more than 2-3 people run it every night. So it won't be fast, but everything is made fresh just for you. A must while in Rome.

It is noticeable both in the minimal aesthetic choices and above all in the menu, renewed periodically, never boring and with the wise guidance of Francesco, owner, chef and also Sommelier who knows how to advise and convince with effective education the increasingly better pairing between all types of wines , with a particular predilection for his native Salento. Delicious, creative and courageous tasting dishes, always cooked to perfection. From cappellacci to braised meat, to side dishes and dessert. Everything handmade, fresh ingredients, open kitchen - an act of great courage - always clean, as are the surfaces and especially the bathrooms. Extremely discreet service and ready for every need. It looks like a Swiss watch, but with a typically Italian kind heart and soul. The bill is honest and you have the feeling of having paid rightly at the end of the meal. The place is not large, it offers a certain intimacy, although it can accommodate about thirty seats. The type of customers confirms what has been written and rewards the skill of the entire C'esco team. To return for every occasion.
17/12/2023: Excellent pasta and beans, bruschetta done as it should, delicious sautéed chicory, thoughtful and attentive service.

04/04/2024: We ducked into this restaurant and were very excited to find amazing food, good atmosphere and great service.
30/03/2024: A wine shop where you can find excellent wines (even from fine vintages), accompanied by typical dishes of the Roman tradition, with attention to detail and cheered up by the colors of the furnishings rationally organized on the tables. Apparently simple, it is actually a very sought-after place, but not expensive. The welcome and kindness of the owner enriches the experience. A must during my stays in Rome. I went back today too: I only had a few minutes but they were well spent. Annalisa
