19/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience at Quintessenza, one of the Michelin-starred restaurants that impressed us the most and certainly one of the best in terms of value. The restaurant is elegant and well-maintained, but the real added value is the terrace: dining with a view of the Swabian Castle and Trani Cathedral overlooking the sea, while the sun sets, is simply spectacular. A special mention goes to the staff, who were truly exceptional: professional, knowledgeable, and at the same time very helpful and spontaneous. We felt at ease in a way we've rarely felt at a Michelin-starred restaurant. The cuisine was a real crescendo: from start to finish, we found every dish delicious, with a special mention for the spaghetti with smoked anchovies, truly exceptional. We also greatly appreciated their willingness to allow us to alter our itinerary to try some dishes from the other menu. Overall, an experience we would definitely recommend. The food, location, service, and atmosphere lived up to expectations.

19/08/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at Quintessenza during our stay in Trani, and we can say without hesitation that it was one of the best Michelin-starred experiences we've ever had, especially considering the value for money. The restaurant is truly elegant and refined, without feeling cold or overly formal. We were fortunate enough to dine on the outdoor terrace, and the location, in the summer, is simply spectacular: the Swabian Castle is practically next door, and a little further on, you can enjoy the view of the splendid Trani Cathedral overlooking the sea. We arrived as it was starting to get dark, and we were able to watch the sky gradually change color throughout our dinner. It's truly an atmosphere you couldn't ask for better. The table setting is also very unique and successful. The tables are arranged in a continuous, sinuous composition, almost forming a large "S," a solution that manages to keep diners close together without compromising privacy or tranquility. A truly well-considered aesthetic and functional choice. But a special mention goes to the staff. This is probably one of the aspects that struck us the most. They were young, well-prepared, and professional, yet at the same time extremely spontaneous and helpful. At no point did we feel "stiffened" like some Michelin-starred restaurants can: we felt at ease throughout the evening. Huge applause to the entire team, truly impeccable. And then, of course, the cuisine. Each dish was better than the next. We chose the classic menu, but they gave us the option of making two changes so we could sample some dishes from the other menu. They were extremely helpful from the start, and in the end, we were able to practically create the menu we wanted, sampling the best of both menus. This attention to customer service was truly appreciated. From a gastronomic standpoint, there's really little to say: surprising, balanced, and above all delicious dishes. It's one of those restaurants where you don't just appreciate the technique, you actually end up remembering what you ate. We paired dinner with the wine menu. This is perhaps the only area where we found room for improvement: we've personally experienced more exciting wine itineraries at other Michelin-starred restaurants. However, it must be said that the price is absolutely reasonable: €60 for six glasses makes the itinerary very affordable considering the overall quality of the experience. All in all, an experience we absolutely recommend. Quintessenza managed to surprise us not only with the cuisine, but with everything: the location, view, atmosphere, service, and customer care. A Michelin-starred restaurant where we truly felt at home and which, if we were to return to Trani, we would definitely try again. Congratulations to the entire team!

21/07/2026: What can I say...an incredible experience, absolutely worth trying at least once in your life. Moreno and his wife Mariella are two wonderful people who will welcome and pamper you throughout your dinner. Their cuisine is experimental, researching and innovating, using ingredients and raw materials that connect regions and cultures near and far, creating a harmony and an explosion of flavors on the palate that will send your taste buds into overdrive! The atmosphere is elegant yet informal and relaxed. The dining room staff is very helpful and attentive.

10/04/2026: We visited the restaurant as part of the "Eisacktaler Kost" culinary experience, and the food was absolutely fantastic! The restaurant itself is beautiful with its old-world charm, the service was very friendly and attentive, and above all, genuine and not at all pretentious. I'll definitely be back! 👍😊

06/04/2026: Amazing hotel, great rooms and superb food

19/08/2026: The evening started well, in a beautiful, elegant room with perfectly air-conditioned surroundings. The oysters arrived 10 minutes after ordering, and were truly delicious and of high quality. Unfortunately, then the problems began: it took 25 minutes for the plate with the oyster shells to be taken away, and another 50 minutes for the second course to be served (after being prompted three times). Between the second and third courses, we waited another 30 minutes. We didn't order dessert; perhaps it would have arrived for breakfast. Jokes aside, no one bothered to notify us of the delay or apologize. No apology came, not even when I complained directly to the owner, who only tried to justify himself, blaming the kitchen for the chef's absence and the staff for poor service. Aside from the oysters, of the six dishes ordered, one was unpresentable, three were passable, and two were inadequate. P.S. maybe it wasn't necessary, but offering a liqueur or a drink at the end of the dinner would have been a polite gesture, perhaps even apologizing (at least once).

18/08/2026: I had the pleasure of enjoying an excellent seafood dinner with my sister. The staff were friendly and professional, the fish was well-cooked, and the first courses were truly exquisite: a perfect balance of flavors. The bill was absolutely fair. 13/08/2026: A magical place, an incredible atmosphere with a direct view of the lake, excellent and friendly service, but above all, the food was breathtaking from the first course to the last. Highly recommended are the spaghetti with sea urchins (I haven't found a better execution anywhere in Sicily!), the grilled pigeon (which was enormous and had an indescribable flavor of chargrilled meat and rosemary!), and the gianduiotto (a pâté shaped like a gianduiotto and covered in real chocolate, a unique flavor!). Even the sweets they serve with the coffee were superb. At the end of the meal, they even let us swim in the beautiful, clear lake and provided us with their sun loungers and towels free of charge. The service and experience is definitely worth repeating. Pricey, but in line with the service offered.

13/08/2026: Lunch. Restaurant with a beautiful view and a quiet atmosphere. Attentive, high-quality but not overly rigid service. Superb food. Four-course tasting menu, all bold, balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Fair value for the quality offered. Excellent option to order different tasting menus for the table or choose à la carte.

17/05/2026: A truly enjoyable lunch. Traditional Roman first courses, divinely cooked and made with authentic ingredients. The place is intimate, and the staff makes you feel welcome right away. Good value for money. Recommended!

13/05/2026: Very cute and intimate restaurant. Excellent food and impeccable service. The appetizer is a must-try because it's exceptional and changes seasonally. But everything is delicious, and it truly feels like being at home. Recommended for both families and couples. Parking is easy.

The meal was outstanding, featuring a fantastic fish menu made with incredibly fresh ingredients sourced directly from their own garden. You can truly taste the quality of the herbs and veggies! To top it off, the sommelier recommended a great wine that matched our menu perfectly. Highly delicious and absolutely recommended!

In the kitchen, Alessandra prepares exceptional dishes. They are a truly complementary pair: Crescenzo, the easygoing one with the gift of the gab that's essential to making you fall in love with this place, and Alessandra, the shy one, who pours all her love into the dishes she serves. They are the perfect duo to make this place unique. Nothing here is commercial, from the drinks to the wines. In a world where appearances prevail over everything, here being has a central place.
