01/04/2026: We only stayed two days, but it felt like a week because of how relaxing we were! What can I say? Everything was impeccable, from the superb food to the spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean room, to the perfectly heated pool and saunas! We can't wait to return.

29/03/2026: As part of the Eisack Valley Culinary Weeks 2026, I had the opportunity to stay at the Stafler Romantikhotel – and it was a very successful stay overall. The friendly staff deserves special mention, as they made the stay pleasant from the very beginning. The hotel also excelled in its culinary offerings: the food was consistently excellent, with a wide selection at the breakfast buffet, and they were very accommodating to individual dietary needs such as gluten intolerance. Another highlight was the fantastic wine list, which perfectly complemented the evening. I also received a room upgrade, which was, of course, an added bonus. The spa area is rather small (steam sauna, Finnish sauna, infrared cabin). My only complaint was that the temperatures in the relaxation rooms were a bit too high. The grounds around the hotel are lovely (surely even more impressive in summer when everything is in bloom). All in all, a very enjoyable stay that I would gladly recommend – especially for gourmets and anyone who appreciates good food.

21/03/2026: What an absolutely incredible experience at Ristorante L'Ambasciata - about 50 mins away from Modena, we were recommended this hidden gem by a friend of ours - incredible decor and atmosphere, and Mirco and his team took incredible care of us. We had their signature lobster and bean soup for entree, shared an amazing shellfish bisque risotto w/ red prawns, and then the whole duck for main - wonderful experience and highly, highly recommend. We are already arranging to return with a group of friends.

30/12/2025: We went for lunch. I must say, the selection was truly excellent. The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable. The menu was traditional yet contemporary. We had cacciucchino crostini, which were tasty and delicate. The octopus on mashed potatoes was incredibly soft and delicious. The octopus spaghetti with olives was delicious, and the scampi ravioli garnished with shrimp and squid and chopped black olives. The bisque was amazing, and the bisque made all the difference. We also had two glasses of fragrant Terricciola Vermentino. Compliments to the kitchen and management. Price in line with what we ordered, about €40 per person. Definitely recommended.

02/04/2026: We opted for the four-course menu. The staff were incredibly friendly, the setting beautiful, and the cuisine refined and full of flavor. However, I can't give it five stars because the portions were insufficient, and I left still feeling hungry 😐

29/03/2026: The place is beautiful and the food is delicious. I went there for an event (a jazz concert) and hope to return soon, perhaps when it's warmer outside. You can see how passionate and dedicated the staff is to what they do; they're all young men and women with original ideas and a desire to experiment.

22/03/2026: Il Povero Diavolo is a truly warm and welcoming place, one where you immediately feel at ease. The menu is very interesting because it successfully blends traditional Romagna dishes with ethnic flavors, tied to the origins of the people who work there. The project's wonderful social dimension is also clearly evident, providing opportunities to people who would otherwise struggle to find a place. Samuele manages everything very well: he always welcomes you with kindness and a smile, and that really makes a difference.

01/04/2026: There's a restaurant that feels like home, far from menus with "typical" dishes, but rather focused on seasonal, local, and local products from the countryside around the house. A warm, cheerful, genuine, and kind atmosphere. A place for those who appreciate, for those who savor, for those who love a break as much as they love food. Highly recommended.
