Exceptional food, and really thoughtful service. Fantastic local menu which uses traditional ingredients but in interesting and delicious ways. Would highly recommend. For us, it was a welcome change from the Italian cuisine sampled elsewhere in the area.

We spent a wonderful evening at Floyd. The atmosphere is informal yet refined, reflecting the owners' love of good music and nature. We found the same attention to detail in every dish prepared by Crescenzo and Alessandra, who carry out their work with passion and great preparation. We immediately felt at home, welcomed by Crescenzo, who "narrated" rather than explained the dishes and wines to choose from; all his recommendations proved to be spot-on, as if he already knew us, demonstrating great expertise and sensitivity. The evening was spent tasting locally sourced dishes and wines, following a philosophy based on quality, eschewing easy, consumer-oriented choices. A special mention goes to the dessert: Alessandra is capable of preparing truly delicious dishes without weighing you down (try it and believe it). Finally, a truly impressive music selection is a must-have!
Congratulations, guys! Keep up the good work and stay true to yourselves!

If you walk past, you might not notice it—the window isn't even that inviting—but once you enter, you'll understand that this restaurant is a microcosm of passion for its work, attention to its guests, and the quality of its dishes.

A simple restaurant, serving authentic and balanced dishes, and using high-quality ingredients. The host, Crescenzo, is a dancing poet who floats between the tables, delighting in and skillfully describing every dish and ingredient, leaving no detail unsung. Chef Alessandra is the only one in the kitchen, keeping guests waiting longer than necessary, but in return, she guarantees sublime dishes without compromise (no microwave, etc.). Highly recommended, but be patient—it's absolutely worth it. The complimentary coffee passalacqua is the final touch.

A little place we chose "by chance," based on reviews online, and it didn't disappoint! A small, welcoming place, with attention to detail and quality music specially chosen by Crescenzo. What can I say: you truly feel at home! The dishes are explained in great detail, as are the drinks, all in a friendly, informal atmosphere. Alessandra's touch in the kitchen is truly outstanding... Everything was excellent, with authentic, local, yet refined ingredients. What can I say? We'll definitely be back!
The idea of leaving a little poem on each diner's seat is a lovely one.

Floyd restaurant is a little gem in an enchanting village. Inside, it offers limited seating, a simple yet welcoming atmosphere, and the owners clearly and truly embrace their work with passion and, above all, love. Floyd is one of those businesses that deserves recognition: for their commitment to selecting locally sourced, top-quality, and seasonal ingredients; for their desire to perpetuate such an authentic vision in an increasingly less tangible world; for the poetry they bring to the table and their culinary preparations; for the music they carefully select to accompany their dishes. Because it's not enough to nourish the body; we must also remember to care for our souls.
Dinner at Floyd was surprising. A menu with just a few dishes, but extremely carefully crafted and of the highest quality, a comprehensive choice even for those who choose to be vegetarian or vegan. The key ingredients in the dishes are refined yet simple, some even harking back to a long-forgotten ancient cuisine. These dishes are rarely found in mainstream restaurants, yet they embody so much of the local area and healthy eating. A special mention goes to the chocolate cake, which reminded me of the one my mom used to make, and which made me feel even more pampered and at home.

Floyd is a little gem in the historic center of Bevagna, where you'd least expect it. I was looking for a restaurant that was "different" (meaning innovative, not simply eccentric or gourmet), offering dishes that weren't necessarily traditional Umbrian, without becoming banal, and I found them. Floyd does all this using top-quality ingredients, and more, because the young and welcoming owners put a smile on your face with their authenticity and make you feel at home, satisfying every palate. Their limited seating allows them to focus on quality, with consistently selected and seasonal ingredients, like the menu itself, which features both meat dishes and vegan and vegetarian options (their ever-changing organic sauces are a must with the appetizers). The good food is then accompanied by beers, each better and more unique than the last, carefully selected wines, and the owner's poems, a cheerful person who perfectly illustrates the delicacies prepared by his partner. The desserts are another highlight, such as the chocolate and hazelnut cake with coffee ganache, or the bread pudding with peach jam and lemon and almond sauce. Whether you're local or visiting, I can't recommend dinner at Floyd's highly enough!
