01/10/2025: I had a lovely dinner at this restaurant with my husband. I had heard great things about it, and I have to say that the dinner—or rather, the experience—exceeded my expectations. It's hard to describe the explosion (literally) of flavors in every course. Flavors and combinations, sometimes unusual, but always perfect! Everything was excellent! The service was also excellent, impeccable in its attention to detail and attentiveness! The atmosphere was elegant yet warm! You'd expect a place like this in Milan or London—a real gem in the heart of San Miniato. Compliments to the chef! It's truly on another level! We'll be back.

The cuisine is excellent, with tasty and carefully prepared dishes. The pool is well-equipped, perfect for relaxing in total comfort. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean, ideal for a relaxing stay. 09/10/2025: I went to dinner at Matamà even though I'm not a meat lover, but I left very satisfied. They don't have any stars here, but you'll finish what they put on your plate with great satisfaction. Delicious and refined food, impeccable, fast, and efficient service, the place is a jewel of a place, meticulously maintained and very clean. It was a pleasure testing you, and we'll be back soon to try other dishes. I almost forgot, all the meat dishes I tried were perfect and made me realize that I love meat, as long as it's cooked properly, and at Matamà they know this well. See you soon, Brigata Matamà.

05/10/2025: We returned after a few years to celebrate a birthday, and the quality is still the same, if not even a step up. It can be considered a meat restaurant, and you can even find game. The cooking, the sauces, and what can I say about the crostini!!! I'm still salivating ❤️ We each tried a different dish to share, and it was all delicious. The wine selection was also excellent, thanks to the sommelier's recommendation. The staff was very qualified and courteous, and many compliments to the chef. The premises are clean, and even the bathroom is spacious and clean, accessible to disabled guests. Dogs are welcome 🥰 We'll be back again. Highly recommended 👍👍👏

26/09/2025: Here you'll find wonderful people who welcome you with a huge smile, even in the late afternoon, when God only knows how tired they must be. Here I found the best pizzas, torta della nonna, torta primavera, and schiacciata (hot, fresh from the oven) I've ever eaten. I was here for work and now I'm going back to Milan, but I promised I'd return. Treat yourself: as soon as you get off the train, stop by this historic bakery and savor the authentic Florence. ⚜️❤️

07/10/2025: An excellent holiday spent in this wonderful hotel. Enchanting place, easily accessible, strategic location. Room with a whirlpool tub and a spectacular view. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for all needs, and for this I wanted to thank Mrs. Eugenia for her exquisite and attentive service. Good spa treatment. Top-quality food in the restaurant. The only flaw I'd like to point out is that the management should pay more attention to the cleanliness and layout of the rooms. Everything else was EXCELLENT. We'll be back very soon.

07/10/2025: A very nice hotel. Rustic yet modern. Friendly and helpful staff. A special highlight is the fantastic sauna, which can be booked for €5 per person.

30/10/2025: We received very friendly and prompt service. It's perfect for an aperitif. A small but cozy bistro. We enjoyed it very much and will gladly return.

17/10/2025: The burgers were AMAZING! Whoever said you can’t have a good burger in Italy is lying to you. This is a MUST EAT if you are visiting! The service was top notch and the food was delicious! 10/10!

16/10/2025: A rustic place, not the gourmet one you find in the city. The sandwiches were good. We had the Pio Burger and Cheeseburger, and the prices were excellent. The manager was really kind.
