10/06/2025: We spontaneously made a reservation for lunch that same evening – completely hassle-free. We immediately felt welcome upon arrival, and the service was excellent throughout the evening: always attentive, friendly, and with a genuine sense of making guests feel comfortable.
A real highlight was the homemade sourdough bread, which not only tasted amazing but was also regularly refilled without being asked. The wine selection was also delightfully diverse – very good quality and absolutely fair in price.
Culinary-wise, we experienced a dinner at fine dining level, but without a stuffy atmosphere. We chose two first courses, two main courses, and a dessert to share. Each plate was creative and perfectly matched:
First courses: Gnocchi on Gorgonzola foam and Spaghetti al Tartufo – both excellently seasoned and beautifully presented.
Main courses: Braised beef cheek on cauliflower puree with tomatoes and capers, and roasted lamb on smoky mashed potatoes with a rich peppercorn vinaigrette and herb oil – both perfectly balanced and perfectly flavored.
Dessert: A saffron parfait with salted caramel sauce, hazelnut, mascarpone ice cream, and chocolate – a sophisticated, sweet and savory finale that delighted us.
A small, charming extra: Colorful markers for doodling are available at each table – a playful idea that adults also enjoy and pleasantly bridges the wait for the next course.
Conclusion: Top value for money, excellent quality and service – an absolutely recommendable evening in Verona, one that we will fondly remember.
08/06/2025: Amazing food. Great wine list reasonably priced. What more to ask? If you are in Verona, try it. Tips: the beef cheek is really good. Sit indoor. The liver dish is very good. That carbonara sauce pasta isn't what it reads.. Just a mixed veggie pasta. Not worth it.

Located in a splendid Calabrian location, it represents a perfect combination of elegance, authenticity and hospitality. The context in which it is inserted is truly fascinating: a very suggestive place in front of the Aragonese tower.
The cuisine stands out for the high quality of the ingredients and for the attention paid to the enhancement of local flavors, especially those linked to the maritime tradition. Each course is prepared with precision and presented with taste, expressing balance and passion.
The service is impeccable: discreet but always present, professional but never distant.
The selection of wines is also particularly appreciable, with special attention to local labels, which accompany the menu proposals well.
In short, Il Conte di Melissa is much more than just a restaurant: it is an experience to live and remember. Recommended for those looking for good food, a relaxing atmosphere and a setting that leaves its mark.

27/05/2025: Very nice owner, very good pasta. The chicken with spinach and Gorgonzola was also very tasty! The seating is very comfortable, like in a living room! Highly recommended!
No outside seating, and you can make reservations via chat.

08/06/2025: We were in this place to celebrate my son's communion, everything was perfect, from the location to the service, friendly and professional staff, not to mention the lunch that left all the guests speechless. The owner of the place, Luigi, was available for all our requests giving us the right advice both on the lunch and on the organization of the event. We will definitely return and if our acquaintances ask us for advice on where to celebrate their events we will tell them to go there because they will surely be satisfied!
02/06/2025: I had the pleasure of celebrating my daughter's first communion and I must say that the welcome received deserves more than five stars... starting from the owner to the waiters. Location that a few weeks ago renovated the entire external part ready to host many events in the future.... truly beautiful.
The food was good and at each dish there was Vincenzo who explained the dish. Excellent cake of own production.... truly beautiful and good.
Something not to be underestimated is the parking lot.... of large dimensions adjacent to the structure itself.

18/06/2025: After spending a day on the Amalfi coast, we decided to get away from the hustle and bustle and sleep in the mountains, in a village called Agerola. While searching for a place for dinner, we came across this wonderful restaurant, La Corte Degli Del: what a surprise!
The menu offered several options with different tasting menus, but for dinner, it seemed like a lot. We chose four dishes to share:
Il Cappuccino del "Monaco"
Smoked potato cream, crusty bread crostini, Provolone del Monaco foam, porcini mushroom powder, violet and orange potato powder, brioche bread; wonderful
Baccalà alla Puttanesca
Cod brandada glazed in puttanesca sauce, on pil pil cream, crusty bread, iced puntarelle, and puffed rice chips. I would have liked it to be hotter, but it was still a very successful dish.
Fresh Pasta a Tutto Verde:
Fresh pasta with nettle and spinach, stuffed with zucchini and vegetables, and grated buffalo barilotto cheese. Exquisite.
Vitello alla Cacciatora:
Veal with mushroom foam, sweet and sour onion, and confit tomatoes: Juicy and perfectly cooked.
If you add to this a wonderful wine list, incredible bread service, complimentary appetizers consisting of three bites, and another sweet dessert, I can only congratulate you. I'm sure you'll be a Michelin-starred restaurant in the not-too-distant future.

15/06/2025: Pranzo di Domenica 8 Giugno con 25 soci del Touring Club Italiano. Avevo prenotato con ampio anticipo prefissando il menu e il prezzo. Locale minimalista senza troppe pretese che ha il suo forte nei piatti di pesce a prezzi contenuti.
I commensali hanno espresso unanimemente un giudizio largamente positivo. E' un locale che consiglio a chi si trova nei dintorni di Torino.

High quality of food, courtesy of the owner Luca special. A place that left me pleasantly surprised.
Special note also to the desserts….

16/05/2025: A very warm welcome, with great kindness. We ate very well for a very reasonable price. Our young waitress was even kind enough to escort us back to our car because it was raining very heavily.
We were only passing through and unfortunately we won't be able to return, but I recommend the establishment.
