In the tiny village of Roncade lies a restaurant worthy of Michelin recognition. Family-owned for generations, Ristorante Galli welcomes you like a long-lost cousin, surrounding you with warmth, love, and exquisite cuisine. “Super Nonno” greets you at the door and personally escorts you to your table, where an unforgettable feast begins: an amuse bouche to awaken your palate, freshly picked squash blossoms, lightly fried and dusted with powdered sugar; baby artichokes infused with mint; baccalà nestled in creamy potato; tiny Laguna shrimp served in a tender artichoke bowl; branzino baked in parchment; bigoli all’anatra; delicate ravioli crafted into perfect bites; and an amatriciana prepared à la minute that will make you swoon—and seriously consider moving to Italy. Nonno’s son, Carlo, expertly guides you through the menu while daughter Monica prepares each dish with care and precision. After a digestivo and a sweet treat, you leave feeling like royalty, already dreaming about your next visit.

This was one of the most unusual and fantastic meals and experience we had in Italy. The staff shared delicious surprised and helped pair wine just as delicious.

We wanted to have dinner, hadn't made a reservation, and unfortunately couldn't get a table – but never before has a restaurant team apologized so kindly for not being able to offer us a table. The owner even ran after us to apologize 🙏🏼 We'll be back 👍🏻

A truly welcoming place, the kind that makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm and pleasant, and there's a certain elegance to the spaces, all tastefully curated without losing the feeling of familiarity. The food also reflects this attention: everything is fresh and freshly prepared, with authentic flavors and quality ingredients. I absolutely recommend the carpaccio mix and the pumpkin gnocchi, truly spectacular, but honestly, every dish on the menu is worth trying. The staff really makes the difference: kind, attentive, and always smiling, they make the experience even more special. We had a wonderful time, highly recommended!

If you want to have an absolutely enchanting evening, you have to go to Galli. The food is fantastic and the service is exceptionally friendly and personal.

What an amazing food experience in a small town Roncade. This is the restaurant where you don't get the menu in paper but they explain to you in person what is available on that day. It is a family owned restaurant and the grandpa brings you a whole (so delicious) home-made salami on a board, so you can cut yourself as much as you wish. We went there for dinner and came back the next day for lunch, i believe it is necessary to book it in advance as it is always full. We paid 180 eur for 2 people (starter, main dish and desert, with wine pairing, with many extra snacks and a salami). The dishes are absolutely beautifully put together, well balanced ingredients and consistencies, with freshness of the vegetables in every dish. My favorite dish was asparagus/fish spaghetti. We will definitely return.

5 stars are really few... A unique restaurant for food, hospitality and courtesy... as soon as I'm in the area (I come from Milan) it's a fixed stop... Grandpa Antonio is unique with his sweetness and his stories... absolutely to try
