13/12/2025: Delicious food and lovely place with an amazing view !

10/12/2025: It was a flawless meal. The paper-wrapped vongole is a must-try. This is my seventh day in Italy, and so far, it's the best restaurant I've ever had. It was even better because it had parking, which is rare in this area, and I was really touched that they guided me to my car when I left. If I ever come back here again, I'll definitely come back. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I visited again after two years, and the vongole was still the best. I actually wasn't a huge fan of vongole, and I've tried Choi Hyun-seok's vongole in Korea, but I can't say it compares to this place. I'd definitely visit again if I were to return, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area. I ordered the course again this time and was satisfied, but I really wanted to order two bowls of vongole. The bread before the meal was also really delicious.

16/11/2025: Excellent grill restaurant!! Impeccable service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere!! The dishes are good, but not exceptional. Too expensive for the quality (that's why it only gives them 3 stars). Exceptional desserts!! The cuts of meat are good, but not very varied. First courses are so-so. The photo shows appetizers of mixed crostini (liver, lard, and raw sausage), capon magro with 3 meats, and Vino Santo semifreddo.

09/10/2025: A truly beautiful place. I was there for a wedding and I have to say that everything was perfect, from the service to the food, the parking, and especially the view (the terrace where the wedding was celebrated). Breathtaking! Must try.

03/12/2025: Hand-made tagliatelle with bacon and artichokes, a caponata d'assalto (a ragu) and pallotte cacio e ova (a cheese and egg pasta dish), all heartwarming. We support different teams, but the food is just as good at the table 😂😉

14/11/2025: Typical Roman trattoria! Delicious dishes! Starting with the first courses... Mezze maniche alla carbonara and tonnarelli cacio e pepe, both mouth-watering! Continuing with the fantastic oxtail stew and delicious arrosticini! To conclude, a delicious homemade tiramisu. The service was prompt and attentive! The waitress was very friendly!! We'll definitely be back!! Well done!

04/11/2025: Don't be put off by the multi language menus or heavy advertising, this is a gem of a restaurant with excellent food and great service. Not cheap but great value

20/11/2025: Evening with friends We had a wonderful time! The owner knows his stuff!!! Everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the delicious steak with potatoes, everything was divine. Speaking of wine... a nice selection that enhances the flavors. The house dessert was delicious, and the liqueurs were superb!! Great atmosphere! Highly recommended!

05/12/2025: Overall, it's impossible not to give it five stars. The place is very beautiful, even though I went in the evening; the atmosphere is almost candlelit, very romantic. The staff is super welcoming, smiling, and kind. The food is simple but high-quality. The schiacciatina with tartare and truffle is delicious. The fried steak is their signature dish, although it slightly disappointed my expectations in terms of flavor, but the meat was excellent. Great place.

30/11/2025: We were there last month for my in-laws' 50th birthday. It was a perfect day: we were welcomed by the hostess and then looked after by the wonderful staff. The food was excellent and served quickly. The location is fantastic: in addition to the greenhouse, where you can eat, there's a huge and well-kept garden with a children's area. Ample parking and a super fair price! You can't wait to go back.

16/10/2025: Simply a highlight every year. Local ingredients from the surrounding area, creamy ice cream, and great flavors. The staff is always friendly, and the view is, of course, another highlight. There's now a branch in Limone.

11/11/2025: An unassuming place that captivated me with its food. As we approached before closing time, we noticed a man sitting in front of the bar. It turned out to be the owner, who invited us in and took our orders: a classic, a cheese burger, and a Pio burger. They were all delicious; the meat melted in your mouth. The bacon was fresh and well-fried. The fries were also on par. The whole family left satisfied. The place looks unassuming, but the food is of good quality. No stomach issues afterward.

02/11/2025: Found by chance, located on a small street about halfway down Corso Rossellino, this little place offers a good variety of burgers (I recommend the one with truffle). The ones the three of us tried were very tasty, especially the gluten-free one and the double Pienza. A great alternative to the good restaurants in town. Inside, there's seating for about 10. The owner is very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

18/12/2025: This wasn’t a dinner. It was an EXPERIENCE. In the most serendipitous way, we managed to snag a table at Osteria da Pasquale during one of their wine-pairing events, and it turned into one of the most memorable nights of our trip. When I called to make a reservation, I spoke directly with Pasquale, the owner, who kindly explained that they weren’t taking regular reservations that evening because they were hosting a wine pairing with a fixed menu. It wasn’t exactly what I had in mind or expected, but we decided to go for it... and holy moly, am I glad we did. We’ve done plenty of fixed-menu wine pairings before, and honestly, the success rate is about 50%, so we went in a bit skeptical. This, however, was truly one of a kind. Incredible food, even better wine, and, best of all, an unforgettable ambiance fueled by Pasquale himself and the incredible group of guests who happened to be there that night. Pasquale is wildly passionate about good food and great wine, and watching him in his element was a joy in itself. We tasted local wines ranging from wonderfully affordable bottles to others costing hundreds of euros, and every pour came with a story, a laugh, or a spark of excitement. And when I say wine pairing, I don’t mean the kind where you get two polite drops and that’s it The wine flowed freely, just as fast as the laughter from everyone lucky enough to attend. The energy was chaotic in the best possible way. As two tourists, it felt like we had stumbled into a friend’s dinner party. At one point, it genuinely seemed like everyone already knew each other and somehow, by the end of the night, so did we. We loved every second of it. All of this to say: if you ever see an event or wine pairing at this restaurant in the beautiful city of Lucca, don’t hesitate to book it. Thank you, Pasquale, for an unforgettable experience.
