28/06/2025: We gave this place a fair try, 3 SEPARATE VISITS. We tried gelato, crepes and affogato. The affogato was way over priced given that it was less well presented than a cup of coffee and a slop of gelato, I could do better at home. The gelato is pretty good, there is better within a short distance either direction. What makes this not worth returning is the unwelcoming nature of the server. We went 3 different times and each time was worse than the last. Not worth it.

27/06/2025: Last night I went to Cantina del gelato with some friends. Excellent ice cream shop with unusual, exotic and gluten-free flavors for every need. In addition to the quality of the ice cream I must emphasize the hospitality of the employees. My friends already knew the place and had told me about the old-fashioned closed containers like wells that were definitely more HYGIENIC than the open ones and yesterday I went back to being a child for a moment (in the 80s many ice cream makers had well-shaped containers). Friends indicated how delicious the affogato coffee made with cream from my city was, next time I won't miss it. The 5 stars deserved. Something artisanal in Florence has remained. Thank you

21/06/2025: You're sitting right next to a small, busy street. Cars are constantly honking to greet the guests sitting at the bar nearby; everyone seems to know everyone here. It's loud and lively, and somehow just wonderful to feel this bustling little town. The pizza comes quickly, is incredibly delicious, and ridiculously cheap. The beer selection includes sardinian craft beers I have never seen before, the homemade tiramisu is to die for. An experience you simply must have.

10/06/2025: Great craft beer brewery with a huge selection and a relaxed atmosphere! 🍻 There were eight different beers on tap, plus a seemingly endless selection of canned and bottled beers from all over the world – perfect for those who like to try new things. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed – just the right place for a relaxed evening with good beer. I'll definitely be back!

22/06/2025: After days of eating tons of pasta with cheese and meat, we came here craving seafood. The food was just okay. We had the tartare di tonno e branzino (tuna and sea bass tartare) as an appetizer. It was very simple and fresh, but nothing special. The frittura di calamari e gamberi (fried calamari and shrimp), which was probably the best dish we had, was pretty good—but again, nothing remarkable. We also tried a special that wasn’t on the menu: yellowtail with a passion fruit sauce. It was just… weird. The fish was cooked well, but the sauce was overly sweet and didn’t pair well with the dish. It came with some greens that were extremely bitter and lacked any seasoning. We also had their scialatielli al granchio (thick, short fresh pasta with crab), which actually tasted great, but the big problem was the crab itself. There was barely any in the dish, and what little crab there was came full of shells—in every single bite. It almost felt like they ran out of crab and gave me half a portion. On top of that, the food took a very long time to come out. We expect slower service than we’re used to back home, but we waited almost two hours for our food. Overall, I think you’re better off going somewhere else.

21/06/2025: We had dinner on Friday evening, when 3 "creative courses" are offered (land, sea and vegetarian), at a fixed price of 30.00 euros. My wife and I opted for a vegetarian and a sea course. I must say both excellent, well cooked and with a commendable attention to flavors and plating. Kind and attentive staff, the owner, who explains each menu dish by dish, is a character, who makes you feel immediately at ease. The outdoor garden is a gem in the summer, even if perhaps the greenhouse should be hidden with plants, which is not very beautiful to look at. There is a large parking lot outside. The price is truly amazing for the quality and the environment of the restaurant. We will definitely be back. Congratulations!

20/04/2025: Locale suggestivo ed elegantissimo. Merita non solo la location con arredamento e mise en plate annessa, ma anche la qualità del cibo. Veramente eccellenti i tortelli al ragù bianco, o per meglio dire il ragù bianco e i tortelli di accompagnamento (considerando la quantità di carne nel piatto). Crostata di more servita calda e dalle dimensioni generose. Si spende il giusto considerando il posto e la qualità del cibo.

09/06/2025: Ambiente confortevole, possibilità di mangiare all’aperto in un bel giardino. Piatti gustosi, per nulla banali e cucinati con amore. La cameriera simpaticissima e gentilissima. Una cena qui merita davvero. Prezzi onesti. In tre persone abbiamo preso: una caraffa di vino bianco da mezzo litro, acqua, tre primi, un secondo, un contorno e due dolci, spendendo 27€ a testa. Andate!

26/05/2025: We stayed for two days in this beautiful place surrounded by greenery where peace and tranquility reign supreme. I am not giving 5 stars because in my opinion there are some small things to improve. First of all, the inn is very spartan being in the countryside, however we found a lot of gnatele both inside the room and outside in the courtyard. The sofa cushions were very dirty and in my opinion the lighting in the bathroom and bedroom could be improved a little with slightly stronger lights. For the rest, the price is very in line with what is offered. The very kind owner offered us a small breakfast that was not included in the price.

Un plauso particolare alla gentilezza dello staff che, nonostante il locale pieno, ha saputo dedicarci tempo per raccontarci i piatti e la storia di questa antica osteria. Complimenti davvero per la cura e la bontà dei piatti. Se saremo in zona, torneremo sicuramente a trovarvi.
