We had several meals because of the pleasant quiet ambiance and very good service from a waiter who spoke some English.
The dishes were well prepared. I had the Cacio e Pepe which was not overly cheesy so it must have been another cook in the kitchen that made a previous guest complain. Generally, the food had a light touch. The wine list was small but well chosen.

A flawless experience at this neighborhood restaurant in Appio Latino!
We received a very warm welcome.
I enjoyed a delicious paprika tuna.
The tiramisu was also divine.
I highly recommend it.

This small trattoria in the Appio Latino area serves good food, especially the tonnarelli with garlic, oil, chili pepper, and tuna and the grilled sea bass.
Prices are reasonable.

A very nice and cosy small osteria. Pasta was delicious but there is only one vegetarian option on the menu. Very good vine selection. Service was amazing.

Excellent food. It's a cute little place but lacking in atmosphere. The food is lovely though. We read the menu but didn't realise there was a blackboard menu until it caught my eye. Menu online in English is different than that in restaurant. Excellent steak and salmon.
Would I come back? Yes for sure but would like more atmosphere felt a bit like a library despite the low music. There was no real warm welcome. Waitress is sweet though.

My partner said to go there on her gut and she was absolutely right.
Very good service and very good food.

My wife and I just had lunch there and we loved it. It is a small place, very cosy. The wooden chairs and tables give it a warm feeling.
The food was very tasty, delicious. We had a as starter a fresh rucola salad and stuffed pumpkin flowers. The pumpkin flowers cheese stuffing was soft, creamy and tasty and the accompanying bruschette were very nice.
I had a really tasty steak, served with sweet onions and cheese. And my wife had a nice salmon steak.
The atmosphere was nice with low background music, which is a big plus.

On our way to the Catacombs of Calixtus, we were looking for a small restaurant, and what a surprise to stumble upon Osteria 22 Quattro! Simply sublime and unforgettable from beginning to end. We received excellent advice, and I ordered a piece of beef that was absolutely fabulous, truly exquisite.
Back in Marseille, I simply had to return to this inn to share my delight.
