What a gem! Just round the corner from the central station. When you’re tired of pasta and pizza, this is the place to go. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. The focus is meat which is really good quality and competitively priced given the quality. I have a lovely fillet cooked to perfection while my husband really enjoyed his Italian burger. Service was great too.

Cooked on the piastra, beautifully seasoned, with that deep, rich flavor you only get from properly aged beef. They have a dry-aging cabinet right in the restaurant, so you know exactly what you’re getting — no shortcuts, just quality meat done right. The meatballs were equally impressive — tender, full of flavor, and clearly made from scratch with care. Two dishes, both executed perfectly. For anyone following an animal-based or carnivore diet, this is genuinely one of the best spots you’ll find in Southern Italy. No need to navigate around bread baskets and carb-heavy menus. Here, meat and animal products ARE the menu. You can walk in, order without compromising, and leave completely satisfied. The staff is warm, attentive, and clearly proud of what they serve. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. If you’re a meat lover visiting Naples, skip the tourist traps and make the short walk to this gem. An absolute must-visit.

My mother and I arrived close to closing time. We were served with smiles until it was time to leave, and the food was fantastic. I will definitely return to Il Piastrato on my next trip to Naples!

We had dinner at a very nice restaurant. Excellent food, elegant yet discreet atmosphere, super friendly staff, and reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back!
