The seats are a bit uncomfortable, but if that doesn't bother you, the food and wine are top-notch Tuscan fare. Highly recommended...

We were allowed to eat without a reservation. As a result, we sat inside on the top floor. Not as enjoyable, we have to admit. The location is very beautiful and picturesque. Stunning. I would recommend sitting outside, though; I think the service is just a bit more adequate there.

We discovered this wonderful place on the very last day of our vacation and were so sorry we hadn't found it sooner! The location is truly unique and evocative, and we really appreciated the classy touch of the menu, which tells the story of the place—a truly interesting detail. ​The establishment perfectly combines the spirit of a restaurant with that of a lounge bar. The menu stands out from the usual places because it offers original dishes that showcase Tuscan tradition with a twist. Special mention goes to the "Chiostro" ravioli with carbonara fondue and crispy bacon: a true spectacle, both for the eyes and the palate! To top it off, the homemade tiramisu was a delight: light yet sweet and bold. ​A special mention goes to the staff: despite the place being very busy, they were all friendly, super helpful, and always ready for a chat with a smile. This made the atmosphere almost familiar and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Great spot in Sarteano with a wonderful service, excellent food, and a nice vibe. They also had English menus, which made things easier for our large group. The tagliatelle with wild boar ragout had a nice flavor and the pasta was fresh. Additionally, the marinated pork with chimichuri was tender and delicious.

Very characteristic place... with indoor and outdoor tables... excellent food

I found this place by chance while on vacation nearby. It's a gorgeous place in a stunning setting. I was taking in the surroundings during a quick pre-dinner aperitif and thought, "Maybe it's because we're Italians and we don't pay attention to certain things anymore, but a foreigner would go crazy over something like that." We had a wonderful meal, the staff was super friendly, and the place was fantastic! 5 stars, absolutely!

A wonderful atmosphere in the courtyard of a medieval palazzo. A small menu with typical Tuscan hearty dishes and a good wine selection. Start with an aperitivo in the courtyard and then enjoy dinner upstairs in the airy gallery or in the tastefully decorated interior – a perfect place to spend a lovely evening.
