15/07/2025: There are several restaurants in the upper part of Ischia, all of which more or less follow the same menu, but each with its own personality. The location is stuck in the '70s, the service professional and courteous. The vegetable appetizer, in my opinion, had too much vinegar, the homemade crocche (normal), the ricotta-stuffed courgette flowers with a hint of lemon (well done, great idea), the bucatini with rabbit, of the highest quality (the fresh piperna added to the dish is a plus), the rabbit served in a coccio (an earthenware dish) is a real taste sensation, and to finish, a truly homemade piperna amaro... it rounds out an Ischian dinner with a very high level of personality. Well done!! Oh, I forgot about the house wine... it needs improving.

13/07/2025: Dining at the Morzariello family's Taverna Verde is an experience you can't miss. It's like being at home, thanks to the kindness and courtesy with which you're treated, and the food is always top-quality. The bucatini with rabbit is unmatched on the island. Thank you Gaeta Family

05/09/2025: Spectacular lunch! Everything was delicious, from the house appetizers to the melt-in-your-mouth lamb! It was the best restaurant we ate at in our two weeks in Sicily.

11/09/2025: Lunch alone. The entrée was complimentary, featuring Cantabrian anchovies with a mousse of what I can't remember. A mixed fried fish platter (excellent ingredients) cost €20; I may have paid for the first dish prepared in-house; it wasn't crispy and greasy, but it was good overall. A dip with vegetables that weren't very firm and fresh cost €6. A half-bottle of Bianchello from Cantine Guerrieri, I don't know the price. Coffee, no water, cost €38. A restaurant with the potential and prices of La Lanterna shouldn't have the small shortcomings I've highlighted. It was probably a bad day, so much so that I'll be back next time.

The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously curated, and the highly trained, friendly, and professional staff make every visit a pleasant experience. The seafood dishes are prepared with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, from raw to grilled, always rich in flavor and elegantly presented. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. A perfect place for both a romantic dinner and a lunch with friends, highly recommended for those who love good seafood and authenticity.

21/07/2025: Bellissima esperienza, entrare in questo ristorante a conduzione familiare e venire trasportati immediatamente in un altra dimensione, cucina ottima e servizio eccezionale, un' attenzione alle persone che esula dal rapporto ristoratore/cliente. La cucina a vista con il papà ai fornelli è il top. Da visitare!

17/08/2025: We've been there several times, always satisfied!!! But at the 'Roby's' wedding they struck out at all the previous ones!!! The organization was MORE THAN PERFECT!!! EXCELLENT food!!! Lots and lots of music, all vinyl!!! Overall the best wedding EVER!!!!

02/08/2025: Decent restaurant. Unfortunately, it doesn't maintain the quality we were used to. The appetizer was decent, the goose breast was so-so. The lamb chops were nothing special. 1 extra: fresh salad, very good. 2 glasses of wine, 1 bottle of water. The dessert was very good, but I'd say €50 per person was definitely not worth it. It's a shame, because the standard here used to be very high. No more...

24/08/2025: Here, the attention to celiacs translates into respect for tradition and creativity. Wonderful location and incredibly attentive yet discreet staff. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

Cibo ottimo e sapientemente illustrato dallo Chef. Qualità al top, ambiente accogliente e ben curato nei minimi particolari, servizio eccellente. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Lo consiglio vivamente. Noi ci torneremo senz'altro

05/09/2025: We were looking for a restaurant on the way back from the beach to our accommodation and found one. We didn't have a reservation, but we were still warmly welcomed and, despite the significant language barrier, had an excellent meal! The staff made us feel very comfortable. Everything was very authentic, typically Sardinian. The food was fresh and delicious. Excellent! THANK YOU!
