28/06/2025: Amazing ice cream, even the fruit one. Definitely worth a visit - and two even better! Additional note: excellent and gluten free wafers; and the fruit ice cream is water based, so they are very careful about these aspects too: much appreciated!

07/06/2025: We ended up there by chance, attracted by the menu that presented interesting dishes. The place is small but very welcoming. On one wall a screen shows the activities in the kitchen. Off the menu dishes with a good summer truffle. The service is attentive and courteous. The owner was very kind and at the end of the meal he offered us a good grappa. It is definitely worth at least one visit. Congratulations!!!

As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a rare kindness, the kind that makes you feel immediately in the right place. The staff is attentive, smiling and thoughtful: every detail, from the service to the way the dish is presented, conveys care, passion and authentic professionalism. The quality of the products is impressive, every ingredient speaks for itself: fresh, selected with love, enhanced in every course. But the real star of the evening was the chef, an artist of flavors, capable of transforming every dish into a journey through taste, emotion and revisited tradition. You can feel the love in what he does, you can perceive the respect for the raw material and the desire to make every guest experience a special moment. It is difficult to choose the best dish, everything was simply perfect, a crescendo of emotions. Congratulations to all the staff, but a special round of applause to the chef: heart, technique and passion at the service of those who love to eat well. We will return, return and… return again. Casa Sordi is a place that conquers and leaves its mark.

06/06/2025: Extremely high-quality food with great service in a fantastic atmosphere. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone when they're in Civita. I foolishly tried something else first and wasted an evening doing so. As for the food... The starter consisted of a delicious ball of carrot, bread, and almonds in a delicious carrot sauce. Next came a kind of potato croquette with bacon in an oregano sauce. Wow. To finish, there were three varieties of pecorino and a local ham. We regretted only asking for half a portion of the starter. It was delicious. For the main course, we had ragu bianco with homemade pasta, and for the second course, roast veal. The meat was divine and extremely tender. The sauce was light, and I drenched it all in the homemade bread. The homemade pasta was excellent. The ragu bianco was perfect. ``` We also ordered a great rosé from an excellent wine list (approx. 25 wines). The waiter gave us perfect advice. He was very friendly, and it was a pleasure to be served impeccably by him. The portions are sized so that you can truly enjoy the classic Italian menu, consisting of an appetizer, first course, and second course, without feeling gluttonous or hungry at the end of the meal. P.S. As a passionate amateur cook who has traveled extensively around the world, I have rarely been so impressed. Buon appetito P.S. The slight price difference compared to other restaurants is more than justified, because in the end, the service is simply many times better.

What truly sets this restaurant apart is its consistent focus on seasonal produce. From the moment the appetizer arrived, it was clear that freshness and quality are a priority.

12/06/2025: Piatti ricercati dai sapori inusuali. Una cucina particolare, diversa da tutti gli altri Bistrot della città e personalmente molto azzeccata. Ho apprezzato molto la capacità di abbinamento e la leggerezza dei piatti. Abbiamo cenato fuori per il caldo e la stagione, forse l’atmosfera dell’interno si addice di più alla ricercatezza globale del locale. Cantina dei vini particolare, molto ben abbinata ai piatti proposti. Torneremo sicuramente!

01/07/2025: Such a lovely experience to taste their home-made cheese, and the pork over bread! The bread is fully soaked with the juice and broth, and the pork is simply tender and amazing! The crispy pork skin is definitely the highly, giving you both a joy of crispness to chew on, and additional fat to stimulate your taste buds. The in house red wine is very matching as well. Light body and sweat.

01/07/2025: Best thing I ate in Rome. And I ate a lot of things. I'm not even really a pork person. Or a sandwich person. But the porchetta sandwich was insanity. We got it for lunch. And we are going back tonight for dinner. YUM. It was so good I didn't even have a chance to take a photo! Sad!!!!! Vibes also nice. Super friendly. Variety of drinks including coke zero and wine 👌🏻

I made a reservation at the recommendation of an acquaintance who lives in Italy, and it was by far the best food I had during my trip to Rome. Everything I ordered was delicious. The desserts were creamy and delicious, but sweeter than the ones I had in Korea. I would like to visit again next time I visit Rome.

25/05/2025: Osteria del Cavaliere is located in the San Giovanni area in a small street that connects the Tuscolana to the Appia road, impeccable service and EXCELLENT food not to mention the bill. The place is unfortunately not very big, ideal for those looking for a bit of intimacy, I recommend booking. Enjoy your dinner

29/06/2025: Yesterday we went to their place for an aperitif with a cutting board. I highly recommend you stop by because the cutting boards are wonderful both to look at and to eat. They are friendly and very nice, I will definitely go back
