Highly recommended. A must-visit if you're visiting the caves or are in the area. Excellent value in a friendly, family-friendly atmosphere. We tried several dishes, all excellent.

A perfect experience from beginning to end. Not only was the food delicious, but especially the service and attention we received. The place is incredibly charming, beautifully decorated, and meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail, creating a welcoming atmosphere where you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. Special mention goes to the owner, a truly endearing, friendly, and incredibly kind gentleman. He was attentive to our every need, patiently explaining the menu so we fully understood each dish, and offered several local recommendations for our stay. It's these small details and this genuine, personal touch that make a place truly memorable. The food was also outstanding: local produce, delicious dishes, and authentic flavors. We tried several things and thoroughly enjoyed everything. And the tiramisu… probably the best I've ever had. Spectacular. We left delighted, both with the food and the way they made us feel. 100% recommended and, without a doubt, a place we would return to. ❤️

Little family restaurant on a nondescript little street. Service can be slow, since there is only one cook: the lady of the house. Food was very good. The menu is in Italian, but the friendly man who served us the dishes spoke fairly good English. Clean tables and restroom.

A 5-minute drive from the Castellana Caves. Carefully crafted dishes revisiting tradition, using select, authentic ingredients. The homemade orecchiette and Bombette pasta are excellent! Highly recommended, we'll be back!

Excellent cuisine and a very kind and attentive owner. Ideal for those who want to try Apulian specialties at a reasonable price. The quality is excellent. The restaurant is unique, decorated with a touch of Provençal style. We chose it as a family on our way to Polignano a Mare.

Extremely helpful staff. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. The small, welcoming atmosphere allows for complete customer satisfaction. Fast and impeccable service. We'll definitely be back, but definitely without kids 🤣😂

Today we returned to Cesarino 36 for lunch, and I could talk about the dishes—excellent, as always—or the Primitivo they recommended, full-bodied, sincere, the kind that makes you say, "Yes, that's really good." But today I don't want to review the menu. I want to talk about Pietro, the owner. It's so true: behind every face there's a story, and within every story there's a life made of ups and downs, satisfactions and disappointments, choices and compromises. Today Pietro told us a piece of his, and that changed the lunch. He made us feel like participants, not just customers sitting at a table. For a few minutes, we became a small parenthesis in his life, and he—with his story, his voice, his authenticity—became a small parenthesis in ours. There's something rare in those who know how to tell their story without overdoing it, without acting, without building a character. Pietro is like that: genuine, direct, someone who talks to you like a friend, even if he's only met you twice. And maybe that's what makes Cesarino 36 a special place: not just the food, but the people who inhabit it. Thank you, Pietro. For the lunch, of course. But above all, for the chat.
