10/09/2025: A fantastic setting and incredibly attentive and courteous service. The setting: an experience. And then the food. A total disappointment. The scallops as an appetizer: a scallop, split at most, so in two pieces, transformed into a ball of fried batter. If you remove the more than superfluous part without breading, to be honest, it has a slightly unpleasant fishy flavor. Embarrassing. The octopus too, thickly breaded. Beautifully presented and artfully prepared, but the real disappointment: embarrassing. Then the fettuccine with truffle. Very bland. As expected, we were disappointed.

In the evening, they offer dinner, especially excellent meat. And, guys, it's incredibly clean. We've found the perfect place for when we return to Umbria.

09/09/2025: We had meat. Truly exceptional: both the porcini mushroom tagliata and the mixed grill were perfect in flavor and cooking. The sautéed potatoes were perfect, just like in a cookbook.

Insalata Mista: Crispy and fresh, carefully balanced – a light start that already demonstrates the emphasis placed on product quality and balance. Appetizer with Polenta & Trout: Delicately cooked fish, aromatic and subtly salty, served with crispy polenta with a pleasant texture – traditional in concept, modern in execution. Risotto with Porcini, Truffle & Parmesan: Grainy al dente, intense porcini notes, the truffle elegantly integrated, Parmesan present but never overpowering – very harmonious and wholesome. Service & Ambience: Attentive, friendly team; the setting is lovingly and inviting – exactly the atmosphere that best suits natural cuisine. It also offers great value for money. Mobility: Ample parking is available – arrive relaxed, enjoy in a relaxed manner.

23/08/2025: Everything was excellent!!! The quality of the ingredients was superb, the dough was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The combinations were unusual and well thought out! We'd definitely go back! The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn't enough to maintain a comfortable temperature.

I went for lunch today with my family and the experience was excellent in every way: beautiful location (eating outside offers a stunning view), excellent hospitality and service, and fantastic and truly meticulously prepared food! Highly recommended. We'll be happy to return!

24/08/2025: The inn is primarily known as a restaurant, where, to be honest, it stands out in every way: dishes crafted with attention to detail and featuring very interesting pairings, attentive and precise service, a sommelier, supervised by the host, of an excellent standard, who accompanies the dinner with suggestions and perfect pairings (it's the only place where I delegate the choices to him—mistakes are out of the question), and ample space between tables, typical of Michelin-starred restaurants. Last but not least, the attention to hygiene, which extends even to the bathrooms. Something not to be overlooked. The expertise, attention to detail, and dedication to their work have made this establishment one of the best in Friuli Venezia Giulia. For a gourmand, it's worth organizing a special trip. I recommend not visiting during the busiest times so you can visit the cellar at your leisure and perhaps ask for a bottle to enjoy at home.
