A restaurant with a traditional menu (the veal with tuna sauce was good but not excellent...but the veal cheek was amazing!) and a few additions with some decent seafood dishes (the sea bass meatballs were delicious). The restaurant has a beautiful setting reminiscent of a barrel, and the staff was very friendly and provided very efficient service, especially considering the restaurant was full.

Top value for money at Le Vigne! We opted for the four-course tasting menu plus dessert: an incredible journey through the flavors of the region. Generous dishes, excellent ingredients, and an attention to detail you wouldn't expect at this price. The dessert was the icing on the cake. We'll definitely be back!

If you're driving near Fornovo Val di Taro, leave the highway and head to Osteria Le Vigne (Varano de' Melegari) and treat yourself to a truly excellent lunch or dinner. The atmosphere, food, and service are all top-notch, making you wonder why the service can't be this good everywhere. In any case, it's a very unique place that offers traditional Parmesan dishes with a touch of originality. Excellent ingredients expertly prepared. A carefully crafted food and wine list. And to top it all off, an absolutely reasonable bill. Well done. Don't change!! 👍
