26/06/2025: Lovely restaurant. Awesome slow roasted pork rib, fantastic Casio e Pepe, terrific staff - fantastic last night dinner before flying out. Highly recommended if you are visiting Fiumicino or have a few hours layover at FCO and want to experience top level Roman cuisine.

26/06/2025: Chiming in here to confirm (as other reviews which guided us here mention), that this was the best meal of our entire trip — it beat every place in Puglia, Amalfi coast and others in Rome. The staff are lovely, kind and honest and the quality of everything was top notch. The organic extra virgin olive oil they gave us with the bread is the best I’ve ever tasted, and their deconstructed tiramisu was delicious as well as creative. For sure eat here.

05/06/2025: We were looking for a quiet, private place to celebrate our daughter's confirmation. We didn't want the classic restaurant, farmhouse reception hall but something different. SMALL immediately struck us for the details for the atmosphere we found, the owner "chef" very helpful and ready to accommodate every request, what can I say, our guests left saying that they felt at home, excellent food but above all an incredible staff ... 15/06/2025: First experience with my husband in this incredible place on the occasion of our wedding anniversary and they gave us a wonderful surprise, with lots of photos and candles!! Super familiar and at the same time super professional atmosphere, a truly enchanting place with attention to every detail. Excellent quality food, starting with the bread, self-produced following a recipe from Puglia, which goes very well with their delicacies, including a coppa piacentina cut directly at the table - on request - together with other cured meats of rare quality and flavor. Shrimp and duck, if you really have to choose, the highly recommended dishes Impeccable service, fast and attentive but never intrusive, even though at a certain point the place was full. Renato, the owner, a person of rare kindness and pleasantness, always available for advice and suggestions despite, I imagine, the great work to do. 29/05/2025: The meat is really excellent: excellent cut, perfect cooking, strong flavor. Too bad about the stringy cheese, too greasy and of a rather poor quality, to be avoided. The empanadas on the other hand are good and well made. The wine selection is also very good, curated and with interesting proposals. Overall a place that defends itself well, but does not particularly stand out from the others. People come mainly for the meat, also because the rest of the offer is limited. The internal location is beautiful and well-kept, but it is a shame the lack of an external dehor, which would improve the experience especially in the summer.

27/05/2025: The ribeye steak was very tasty, as was the mashed potatoes. We ordered a meat empanada as a starter, which was exquisite. A glass of Malbec wine accompanied the dish. Highly recommended!

07/06/2025: A real surprise behind the Basilicata of San Paolo. The place is very small, but well-kept and welcoming, many small tables for 2 to join in case of more people. The cuisine is very well-kept, refined and extremely tasty dishes. Prices a little higher than average. Recommended without a shadow of a doubt.

25/05/2025: A bakery that fully deserves its rating. We didn't taste everything, but to name just the croissants... they are the best I've had in a very long time. Much better than 95% of French bakeries. That's a shame! And yes, the focaccia is truly to die for. Yes, you have to queue, even on a Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m., but now I know why. Congratulations to the team for their remarkable passion for their craft.

09/06/2025: There are many restaurants in Castiglione della Pescaia. This well-hidden gem is something special. Luckily, we had a table reservation. The restaurant was very busy, and for good reason. If you like high-quality, well-prepared beef (including T-bone steaks), this is the place for you. They also offer other excellent Italian dishes. The harmonious concept is rounded out by a beautiful garden surrounding the seating area and attentive, friendly staff. And the chef is very pleasantly present. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

25/06/2025: Hello everyone, I think the restaurant doesn't like French people. You want to make an appointment, they put you on a waiting list, and you NEVER get a reply. You show up at the restaurant, an Italian bulldog comes out and tells you to move on. So, dear fellow French citizen, if you want to eat Italian food, go elsewhere because they didn't know about friendliness. Jean-Marc

20/06/2025: What a gem of a place, and reasonably priced for an unforgettably amazing evening. Went with a party of 6 on a Tuesday for a birthday surprise celebration. Sent a message to the restaurant prior to our visit and arranged for a little surprise for the birthday person. The restaurant seemed to be full, but hard to say as I didn't get the opportunity to walk through the "rooms"... Allergies and specific dietary requests were taken serious and flawlessly taken care off during service. Flow of dishes was perfect timed (we had the one of the taster menu's) which often is the straw that would break the camels back as a whole experience, but here it was spot on. We were also asked during dinner if we wanted a "pause" before the next dish or if we wanted to continue on. Amazing! All dishes were spotless and it got better and better as the evening moved on. Based on personal taste preferences, I can not talk on behalf of everyone and will leave my own taste comments out of the review as it's irrelevant, but the general consensus was very positive by the whole table... Service was very attentive, through out the evening and extremely professional and knowledgeable when asking about specifics around the dishes and wines. On average it cost EUR 200 per person which is an unbeatable deal at this level (including, a bottle of spumante as aperitif for all and wine pairings for 5 of the 6 guests) which included the smaller of the taster menus (it takes time to get through it all). If fine dining is scaring you off, this would be a great place to start, as it's very relaxed and down to earth. The food speaks for its self... So, we will without doubt swing by next time we're in Rome as this is just an amazing place with amazing staff and great location (if staying in the Termini area). Highly Recommended

12/06/2025: Ideal restaurant to escape the heat of Praia a Mare and really good. High quality products and km 0. We tried two dishes off the menu really delicious but I have no doubt that everything else is at the same level, given the attention and care of the owner and chef for more than thirty years Mr. Giacomo. I highly recommend trying this good and genuine cuisine.

09/06/2025: The tavern is located in Trequanda, so you really have to go there specifically in this tiny village, but it is absolutely worth it. The proposals are all interesting and unfortunately in one dinner/lunch it is impossible to try everything. The cake then... A bomb! Absolutely recommended

25/05/2025: A very pleasant discovery in a little corner of paradise, called Trequanda. The place is extremely well-kept in every detail. The professionalism and friendliness of the manager accompanied us in a very interesting vegan lunch, truly exquisite and with generous portions. I recommend it to everyone! See you soon! Stefano.

11/06/2025: Quelle belle surprise !! Le meilleur restaurant dans lequel nous avons mangé dans les Pouilles. Nous y sommes allés 2 fois. Accueil, service et bien sûr une cuisine à tomber, le tout pour un prix raisonnable. Vaut vraiment le détour
