I’ve ended up coming here every single day I’ve been in Rome, and I think that says everything. The team here is genuinely warm, welcoming, and remembers people, which makes it feel like your neighborhood café even if you’re just visiting. Do yourself a favor and get the pistachio croissant. It is phenomenal and tends to sell out early for good reason. Pair it with their crema coffee and you’ve got one of the best breakfasts in the city. I’ve tried coffee all over Rome during this trip, and Mus Caffè is still my favorite. Great coffee, fantastic pastries, wonderful people. If you’re nearby, don’t overthink it. Just go.

Was in Rome last week, stayed in Prati, and had breakfast at Mus Caffe one morning - and it was awesome! We sat outside, had coffee, and a great (very affordable) breakfast. Our waiter was attentive and excellent. If we ever make it back to Rome, this will be one of our stops! A+ all around! Highly recommend.

It is a very small coffee and breakfast shop where they make everything fresh to order. It is delicious! They have omelettes, crepes, sandwiches, and more. The business is doing very well, and there are always a lot of people coming by for breakfast.

One of the best breakfast spots I've found in Rome. A sure bet! Great waiters, the food is spectacular, and the prices are fantastic! Plus, the coffee is delicious. I recommend the savory crepes (the yogurt and omelet are also amazing).

Great spot for some brunch and coffee! Their cappuccino was perfect and they milk substitutes and oat milk! Ordered a custom ciabatta sandwich-- you can choose 2 or 3 ingredients for filling-- and they toast it for you. The fruit pancakes were excellent, not too sweet and a perfect portion for one person.

Absolutely delicious and awesome! We found this place while staying about 13 minutes walking distance and it was worth every step to get here. The food, coffee and atmosphere was the best. Thank you for a great experience while on our 40th anniversary. 🥰

Today I arrive and sit outside.....Claudio comes out and (he was serving) tells me I'm coming. A minute later (not even), Fabio arrives with a perfect Campari Spritz (3 ice cubes, nothing more, just as I wanted)......they saw me and did what a customer wants..........expectations not disappointed are the key to business!

08/04/2026: If you're looking for an experience that goes beyond simply "eating out," Altavela is a must-see in Fiumicino. Rarely do you find such a perfect balance between the quality of the ingredients and the hospitality of the staff. The undisputed star is the fish, incredibly fresh and treated with sacred respect. Each dish reflects the traditions of the coast but with a touch of contemporary elegance that elevates the flavor without overpowering it. What makes Altavela truly special, however, is the atmosphere. The service is impeccable: fast, discreet, and extremely knowledgeable in recommending off-menu items and wine pairings. But it's the extreme kindness of the entire staff that makes the difference; they make you feel like a guest of honor from the moment you arrive, right up until your coffee, with a warmth and spontaneity that are rare these days. Highly recommended for both a romantic dinner and a special family lunch. I'll definitely be back!

The menu offers traditional and modern dishes, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The prices, in my opinion, are a bit high, even considering the quality of the ingredients. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.
