A' Putìa - Grocery In Palermo

Hands down the best sandwich we had in our Sicilian trip. The quality and the flavors are next level, I would comeback here every week if I could!

My friends and I truly enjoyed ourselves here at A’ Putìa. It was a quiet reprieve from the busy streets of Palermo. They were very accommodating for my friend’s allergy. The ricotta, lemon, anchovy appetizer was one of my favorite dishes I’ve had in Italy.

The takeaway sandwich was an absolute hit—I can confidently say it's the best thing I ate in Palermo. I regret only getting here on my last day, because I would definitely have returned every day. The service was very attentive and friendly—even though the lady spoke Italian and I spoke English, we communicated easily. Another big plus is the ability to buy their products on-site. Definitely a place worth returning to! All this, savoring authentic Sicilian food—ci tornerò di sicuro!

I had two sandwiches for take away which were ok, the prices for the cheese and cold cuts are way overpriced, you do not fine these prices in any living neighboorhood. Also within the restaurants were only english speaking people, this is a place for tourists, nothing else.
