18/10/2025: The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, they explained all of their items to us with a smile. The focaccia, sweet pastries, and coffee were all super delicious, 10/10! The bread was baked perfectly and the mozzarella was so perfectly stretchy and flavourful. You definitely have to come here if you visit Lecco

08/10/2025: This restaurant is very nice, but I can’t give it five stars. My husband ordered a salad and it looked and tasted like it came out of a bag. His steak was good but not great. On the other hand my truffle pasta was amazing. My side of sweet and sour baby onions was a delightful surprise. I ordered them out of curiosity and loved them!!! The service was great. Our waiter spoke English really well which was very helpful for us as our Italian isn’t the best.

02/10/2025: Starters and wine where amazing. Steak was ice cold and after mentioning it, they just simply re heated it. So not medium rare as ordered. Ice cold plates….. the ginifaul was slightly bland. We got free shots, so that helped! Really sweet personal.

03/09/2025: This was a really mixed experience. Lows: - My pregnant wife being served raw then undercooked langoustine successively. (It was a dish served undercooked but the waiter recommended it as an option reassuring us that they could modify the recipe to cook the langoustine through. My impression was that the chefs did not agree and stubbonly refused to cook the shellfish to a temperature suitable for a pregnant woman!) - Very strong flavour contrasts which mostly didn't work. (Mackerel with onion chutney, scorpion fish with a highly pungent bisque sauce, squid with an intense sabzi-esque dried spinach sauce, grouper with a fancy version of hoi sin sauce.) Really intense flavours which totally overwhelmed the fish. I wonder if perhaps the chef doesnt actually like fish? Certainly they are not interested in maximising the flavour of the fish served, but masking it with intense sauces. Or maybe the chef is a heavy smoker? And has lost the subtler parts of their palette. Regardless - most of the dishes, while interesting, were not actually nice or enjoyable to eat. - The price. The price undoubtedly reflects the considerable effort put into this food. But it feels more like a work in progress menu. Paying such a high price (€100 pp) stings when you don't really enjoy the majority of what you are eating. - Tiny amount of fish on each dish. (Except for the cerviche appetiser which was very generous). Highs: - The waiter was lovely and attentive. - The decor is beautiful and really imaginatively done - The wine is excellent and the waiter recommended great wines to go with the fish. - The first amuse bouche and the last (a selection of tiny pattiserie to be eaten in a specific order) were really outstanding and delicious. - The gurnard cerviche with grapefruit juice was the one time when the intense flavour contrasts worked brilliantly. It was  impressive and delicious. Overall, if you have money to burn and you want a bit of an adventure, then maybe this will be fun. But if you want to to guarentee enjoying everything - go somewhere more affordable which cooks things more simply and traditionally in a way which emphasises the flavour profile of the fish and almost certainly gives you more than a mouthful of fish per course!

03/10/2025: A beautiful restaurant with a wonderful ambiance inside and out. You immediately feel at home. Nicola served us excellently and entertained us with joy. Our Golden Retriever, Cesar, was also warmly welcomed by everyone. Thank you for the delicious food and wonderful hospitality. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to it. 30/09/2025: Staff attentive to everything... well-prepared food! We ordered platters with a superb touch on the cooked appetizers and especially the cold cuts, I would say well-prepared and excellent. The first courses spoke for themselves, the well-prepared Sunday rural cuisine was very good, everything was delicious! The espresso tiramisu truly exceeded expectations, thanks to all the staff and the restaurant included! The quiet garden was wonderful and everything was so beautiful, just like the all-stone location makes everything special and different. If there's one, dine inside and it's enchanting, it feels like you're at an event!

05/10/2025: We passed by this place while wandering through the streets of Rome. When we saw the food, everything looked delicious, but we continued on, even though we decided to come back for lunch just a few steps away. The place is simply wonderful, the food SPECTACULAR, and the staff's service was 10/10. Once seated, we browsed the recommendations, and it deserves all the good reviews it has. The food menu is very reasonably priced, and they don't charge you the percentage that many places in Rome already include on the bill without warning. Therefore, they definitely deserve to leave a good tip. When I return to Rome, I'll book again; it's also in a fantastic location.

05/10/2025: We came for dinner after a long walk. We didn't have to wait long for the food, but what we did receive left much to be desired. We ordered pizza, a Caprese salad, and tea. All the issues were with the pizza. Not only was it burnt, but they didn't even cut it. Either this is how it's supposed to be, or they're being rude to customers. This left a huge negative impression on our visit.

18/10/2025: A beautiful restaurant located in the basement of a historic building. The vaulted ceilings and brick walls are truly beautiful. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the food is excellent. I've been coming here for many years, and it's always a pleasure to return and try their specialties, like stuffed gnocchi and tortelloni. The owners' friendliness makes for a wonderful evening of good food and well-being. Congratulations!
