Tocco Ferro In Roma

Very fresh fish, carefully prepared, excellent fish tartare Sympathy and kindness

Having always lived in the area, I didn't expect such a "gem". Yes, because Tocco Ferro is an incredible discovery, in an area populated mostly by tourist restaurants. Small place, which respects the correct distances between tables. Menu with the right number of courses, evidently the result of careful selection. The starters are already top, prawns in sauce (praise) and courgette flowers stuffed with buffalo mozzarella and prawns. We choose two first courses and here too we clap our hands: spaghetti with garlic and oil and prawns, excellent, paccheri with cheese and pepper and asparagus (praise). We then have a fry (fresh fish cooked to perfection) to finish with two still excellent desserts (praise for the apple with cinnamon). If the kitchen is managed with great skill by an excellent chef, the service in the dining room is no different, great courtesy and equally friendly. In short, we really liked Tocco Ferro, we highly recommend it and as far as we are concerned we will be back soon.

Abitando da sempre in zona, non mi aspettavo una simile “chicca”. Si perché Tocco Ferro è una incredibile scoperta, in una zona popolata per lo più da ristoranti per turisti. Locale piccolo, che rispetta le corrette distanze tra i tavoli. Menù con il giusto numero di portate, evidente frutto di un’attenta selezione. Gli antipasti sono già top, gamberi in salsa (lode) e fiori di zucca ripieni di bufala e gamberi. Scegliamo due primi e anche qui battiamo le mani: spaghetti aglio e olio e gamberi, ottimi, paccheri cacio e pepe e asparagi (lode). Prendiamo quindi una frittura (pesce fresco cotto a regola d’arte) per finire con due dolci ancora ottimi (lode per la mela con cannella). Se la cucina è gestita con grande maestria da un’ottima chef, il servizio in sala non è da meno, grande cortesia e altrettanta simpatia. Insomma Tocco Ferro ci è proprio piaciuto, lo consigliamo vivamente e per quanto ci riguarda torneremo presto.

Ringrazio Ambra ed Alessio per farmi sentire a casa ogni volta che vado a cena da loro, sanno come trattare un ospite con la loro gentilezza, cortesia e simpatia e come coccolarlo con le prelibatezze a base di pesce che offre il ristorante. E' il mio ristorante preferito dall'atmosfera raffinata e tranquilla a due passi dal Vaticano. Semplicemente strepitoso! Cibo ottimo, dagli antipasti ai dolci. Consigliatissimo! Cosa dire di più?
