We had a beautiful experience at this restaurant for our 10 year wedding anniversary with 12 of our closest friends. Virginia was an absolute dream to work with before we even left the USA, while helping me set the menu and they even went above and beyond to open early for us to accommodate our parties timing. The Tartare was so incredibly fabulous and a highlight for me. The group loved the lamb. And we really enjoyed the wine she chose for us. When I think Michelin, I think beyond just amazing food. The presentation, the experience and the "above and beyond" matters as well. They knocked it out of the park. 💛

Est est est! Leave the main street with all the expensive tourists and go for truly authentic food. Everything is perfectly taken care of down to the smallest detail. Professional, friendly, and attentive service. The bill is certainly no higher than what you pay in the tourist traps.

We had a wonderful lunch at this beautiful, elegant family restaurant. Virginia the sommelier advised us on perfect wines to pair with our delicious courses. She's clearly passionate about wine, food and the restaurant. Her father, the chef came out of the kitchen to receive our appreciation. Highly recommended to foodies!

I've been to this place several times for dinner, and it's one of the best in the area. Every time I return, I'm greeted warmly and kindly, and the staff is truly knowledgeable. I recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful evening with excellent food and truly fantastic wine pairing suggestions.

We dined at Rist Le Logge Del Vignola and had a bit of a mixed experience. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere that makes for a special evening. The staff were also excellent—attentive, professional, and added to the overall experience in a very positive way. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the presentation. Each dish was beautifully plated and visually impressive, but the flavors fell flat and didn’t match the expectations set by the appearance and setting. Overall, it’s a place with great ambiance and service, but the food was disappointing for us.

For dessert, we tried the restaurant’s signature sweet, “Signature of Siena,” which was a memorable way to end the meal and a must-try for anyone visiting. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was warm and authentic, making us feel immersed in the charm of Siena. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout the evening, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A perfect combination of excellent food, great service, and a lovely ambiance. We would gladly return on our next visit to Siena. Recommended dishes: Tagliata & Signature of Siena dessert.

13/08/2026: The real Tuscany in the heart of San Gimignano ❤️🍷 During our stay in San Gimignano, we had the pleasure of dining at La Mangiatoia, and we can say it was one of the most beautiful gastronomic experiences of our trip. The restaurant is truly distinctive: warm, intimate, and atmospheric, perfectly nestled in the charm of San Gimignano's historic center. A setting that immediately immerses you in the spirit of Tuscany. But the best part comes at the table. The cuisine won us over with authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and traditional Tuscan dishes prepared with great care. Everything we tasted was truly excellent, from the starters to the main courses, right down to the desserts. A cuisine that doesn't need any special effects: raw ingredients, tradition, and top-quality ingredients. This is precisely what we appreciated most. The service also deserves special mention: the staff are kind, helpful, and professional, but above all, they create a pleasant atmosphere that allows you to enjoy dinner without rushing and enjoying the pleasure of being at the table. La Mangiatoia is one of those restaurants that, upon leaving, makes you think, "We ate really well here." If you're passing through San Gimignano and looking for a place to savor authentic Tuscan cuisine in a characteristic and welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely a place to remember. We left completely satisfied and would gladly return. Highly recommended!
