12/08/2025: Was looking forward to a relaxing night enjoying locals wines & produce. Service was terrible. The 3 staff there spent more time talking to each other than serving. We waited 20 minutes before someone approached us for our order. Even when we made it clear that we wanted to try a few wines, they appeared disinterested. So we left & found a restaurant that seemed much more appreciative of our custom.

11/08/2025: The wine selection is fantastic, and the lasagna is fantastic. We can both sample the wine and enjoy a bite to eat while sipping your favorite drink.

16/08/2025: My husband, daughter, and I decided to spend our August 15th dinner at Antica Farmacia 2025, during our stop in Palaia after a trip to Corsica. We had high expectations, given the reviews we'd read, and I must say we can fully confirm them. Having been in the restaurant business for over 35 years, we understand the hard work, dedication, passion, and care that goes into every single dish. 12/07/2025: A wonderful culinary experience. No dish on the menu is banal, but all are balanced and successful, showcasing local ingredients and a variety of techniques. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is very friendly.

27/06/2025: Best experience with this place as they provide the best service to us. The salmon is great. The mozarella is also nice. The shrimp is so cruncy. Definitelly will come here again when visiting Venice again.

26/06/2025: Service was quick and friendly, and the calamari at the top of the cup was good. However, in the cup was just a mush of stuff that wasn’t edible. Very disappointing experience.

23/08/2025: On my hike from Munich to Venice, I stayed at Da Tullio. As a reward for over three weeks of sleeping on mattresses, the hotel/restaurant was perfect. A very nice, modern hotel room, a very good restaurant with delicious food, a very good red wine selection, and a fantastic breakfast with a view of the vineyards. The owners and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Perfect!

16/08/2025: The food is unappetizing, and the wait is incredibly long. There's only one waiter for all the tables. We waited over half an hour for water, and then we were told they were "out of carbonara." Overall, the management is a disaster. The waiters are very nice, but it's clear the restaurant isn't keeping up with the times. The portions are small; in other restaurants, for this price, you can get a tasty dish that's actually filling. The seafood carbonara is pasta with literally two pieces of tuna and salmon; there's no seafood in it. The spaghetti casserole e pepe (instead of carbonara) tastes like a béchamel sauce with pepper. I've had better in country restaurants. The seafood platter was relatively tasty, although not outstanding. It's not what you expect from an Italian restaurant; the overall experience was disappointing.

15/08/2025: It's a spectacular restaurant, and the food was delicious! We went as a group, and they treated us wonderfully. They kindly showed us around the wine cellar. If I ever go back to Siena, I'll be delighted to return to Casato.

02/09/2025: A beautiful and relaxing place; very kind and helpful staff. I highly recommend this place, whether for accommodation, dining, or buying fresh, quality products including cured meats, vegetables, melons, eggs, their own wines, and more. It has a small garden equipped for children.

31/08/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance at lunch and had a wonderful time. We were welcomed with kindness and courtesy. The cuisine is traditional and rich in flavor. I would gladly return.

13/08/2025: Passing by, I stopped in, tempted by the positive reviews. The staff was kind, helpful, attentive, and thoughtful. The food was excellent and delicious (ricotta and spinach tortellini, eggplant parmigiana, fried vegetables, and potato and water pie). The service was prompt, and everything was served hot. The bill was 1/5 less than I expected. If only I could give it six stars.

13/08/2025: Found by chance, outside the city center. A great diner with a wide variety, the food is home-style, and everyone is very friendly. The eggplant parmigiana and ricotta and spinach ravioli with tomato sauce are delicious. It has an indoor dining room and an air-conditioned veranda. Highly recommended not only for tourists, but also for lunch breaks and families.

29/08/2025: Gigi's ice cream is by far the best I've ever had! After six years, I returned today to have ice cream here again—and I've had two. Favorite: Cremino, Cremino Pistacchio, and Salted Caramel was also the best I've had so far. A delight! You can taste the craftsmanship here. Thanks Gigi 🙏🏻

09/08/2025: Nothing to say about the food: an interesting menu, classics revisited with a modern twist, and well-balanced flavors. But the rest? A disappointment. The service: the wine was served late. We ordered a bottle of Alto Adige sparkling wine, and only after a second greeting from the kitchen did they inform us that the bottle we'd ordered wasn't chilled, and they offered to exchange it so as not to wait another 20 minutes. The menu was never presented to us, and we were given no option to choose between the two available options. When I asked for an explanation of what we were going to enjoy so as to find a food and wine pairing, I was told that the owner had created a menu to his liking, which was then hastily dictated to me by him, with little detail. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, these aren't "details": they're slips. The worst, however, came when it came to the bill. There were four of us, with four gift vouchers for the six-course tasting menu (€135 per person). A shared Christmas present: I gave it to my parents, and they gave it to me and my partner. On the website and outside the restaurant, the seven-course menu costs €145 per person, so we ask to upgrade by paying the difference. The owner agrees with a smile and reassures us: "No problem." Too bad that, when it came time to pay, the supplement was €33 per person instead of the regular €10. When asked for an explanation, the response was hasty and rude: he had decided to substitute venison for the chicken, and "therefore it costs more." A unilateral decision, never agreed upon, and a rare instance of dishonest behavior. The cuisine deserves respect, but the management turned a special gift into a bitter experience.

07/08/2025: Schönes Lokal. Sehr aufmerksamer und sympathischer Service. Küche schlicht einfach hervorragend. Einziger Schwachpunkt, die Weinpreise Glasweise sind doch eher grenzwertig hoch. Ansonsten gutes Preis / Leistungs Verhältniss für das gebotenen.
