Passion and competence and extraordinary and unusual attention to the customer who is pampered by the owner and all the staff throughout the culinary experience.
We appreciated the family atmosphere, the dedication in the choice of raw materials (all seasonal), the certainty of the historic local dishes (tortellini in capon broth and lasagna), the freshness of the desserts, the story of the wines but, beyond of the high level of cuisine and its attachment to the territory, what remains most impressed upon leaving the restaurant is the love for their work that Andrea and his collaborators transmit to the satisfied customer who is happy to have encountered this place on their path .

From the first contact with the menu of this restaurant you realize the care and attention paid to the choice of products and raw materials. Deciding what to order is very difficult, there are so many things you would like to taste. The desire to re-propose the recipes of the past and of the territory without distorting them, destined to be distorted and gradually forgotten, must be rewarded. At the first bite you are not disappointed, simple and genuine flavors and cooking. The wine list is extensive and starts from the products of the family's winery, whose Syrah we tasted. Fragrant and enhanced by the dishes. Right portions and absolutely fair price.
The environment is warm, the staff is welcoming and available to respond to every request but above all curiosity. Highly recommended!!!

We found this magnificent table lost in the heights of Bologna. You will immediately be welcomed by chef Andrea FUNI and his staff. You will discover a man passionate about his cuisine, completely based on the love for local products. We rediscovered the cuisine of our childhood, of our grandparents (fresh homemade tagliatelle with real Bolognese, tortellini in broth). A mortadella that to date is the best we have tasted. All with discreet service, smiling staff who serve customers and pay homage to the ingredients. Coming from MONTE CARLO and MENTON where we have the greatest starred chefs, chef Andrea FUNI has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of compared to his colleagues and all this for a budget within everyone's reach. A guaranteed culinary orgasm.

I had the privilege of enjoying a memorable dinner with my wife at Ristorante Antica Trattoria La Grotta dal 1918, a gastronomic gem that enchanted our senses and treated us to an unforgettable dining experience. Under the guidance of the talented owner and head chef, Andrea Funi, we were treated to delicious dishes prepared with passion and care, using local produce and the highest quality ingredients. Each dish was a symphony of flavors and textures, reflecting the team's craftsmanship and dedication in the kitchen.
Even our 100 kilometer round trip was just a small price to pay for such an exceptional dining experience. Every moment spent at this restaurant was a pleasure and the impeccable service and welcoming atmosphere made this dinner an unforgettable experience. Heartfelt thanks to Andrea and his entire team for their warm hospitality and this memorable culinary adventure. We will definitely be back and recommend with confidence to anyone looking for an authentic and unparalleled dining experience.

Una persona molto accogliente, che ti trasmette tutta la sua passione e amore per la cucina.
Il ristorante è ubicato sulle colline di Sasso Marconi.
Si percepisce già il livello alto...
