We were there a month ago... beautiful and historic place, even the garden is amazing.
The meat was delicious; I'm not a meat fan, so I ordered one of the few meat-free first courses (ravioli with ricotta and spinach) with a walnut cream.
Then, okay, I ordered a fillet, but I asked for it to be well done. Despite the waiter's usual jokes, he still brought me a griddle so I could continue cooking it at the table.
The only flaw was the very slow service.
But I absolutely recommend it.

Excellent atmosphere and food. We dined outside, a quiet setting perfect for a dinner with friends and colleagues. The meat was excellent, as were the cured meats and cheeses we ordered as appetizers. Recommended.

Last Saturday I celebrated my birthday at Al Mago restaurant, and I couldn't have made a better choice. It was a magical evening in every way!
• The Food (Meat): Simply amazing. We chose incredibly refined cuts of meat; tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It literally leaves you speechless from the first bite. The quality is exceptional.
• The Location: The medieval setting is meticulously crafted and creates a truly indescribable atmosphere. It feels like a step back in time, perfect for making an important occasion special.
• The Service: Special mention goes to Carlotta, who looked after us throughout the evening. Professional, attentive, cheerful, and incredibly welcoming. If there were a chance, her service would deserve more than 10 stars!
A birthday to remember. We'll definitely be back very soon. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience!!!!
The meat was delicious, a Florentine steak that melted in your mouth.
The desserts were all delicious, and the wine was excellent.
The location is incredibly evocative, like being transported back in time, not to mention the charm of watching the meat cook in the fireplace right in front of you.
And what about Carlotta? She was there for us from the very first moment, advising and guiding us with an extraordinary kindness and smile. She made us feel like "friends" right up until the last second of our stay.
It was a wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be back.

We went to this restaurant for the first time for a birthday. The location is truly unique and impressive; I only noticed a bit of clutter, especially outside, but that's fine. The staff were extremely friendly, with special mention for Carlotta, who was truly courteous and very knowledgeable. The food was truly excellent, and the meat was delicious. The prices were very reasonable, I'd say.

The medieval atmosphere is very pleasant and decidedly authentic, the food is excellent, and the service is courteous and professional. There's also a garden if you want to eat outside.
