It was the first sunny day of spring, and I took advantage of it to catapult myself into Salento, eager to begin to smell the sea air, which, as we know, makes you hungry. This restaurant, found thanks to Google because it's not exactly on the coast, perfectly met my needs. Quality ingredients, beautifully prepared, served in abundance, so much so that you could fill up on a seafood lunch, which says it all. I look forward to seeing you soon in Martina to let you taste the meats of the Itria Valley.

🌟 A seafood delicacy in the heart of Veglie ​I celebrated my father-in-law's birthday here today, and the experience was impeccable. Il Paisiello is a family-run restaurant that welcomes you in a quaint, rustic atmosphere, where the kindness of the staff (always professional and helpful) makes you feel right at home. ​🍽️ The Menu: Freshness and Tradition ​The highlight is undoubtedly the seafood. Here's what we tasted: ​Appetizers: A triumph of flavors with an excellent seafood salad, authentic octopus meatballs, crispy cod croquettes, and tender octopus alla pignata (a true specialty). ​First course: Caserecce pasta with baby lobster, flavorful and cooked to perfection. ​Second course: A light, dry, and fragrant fried calamari and shrimp. The finale: A refreshing sorbet, perfect after such a rich seafood feast. 🎨 The Ambience ​We had lunch in the covered outdoor dining room: a very pleasant space dominated by white, made unique by naturalistic paintings on the walls and vintage objects that add a touch of personality and warmth to the atmosphere. ​In summary: If you're looking for quality seafood combined with the warmth of a family-run restaurant, Il Paisiello is a must-try in Veglie. We'll definitely be back!

Quiet and relaxing place. The staff is very kind and quick. Generous portions, colorful dishes, and rich in flavor. Everything was truly excellent 👏

Paisiello always proves to be a reliable choice. We started with the freshest seafood appetizers, carefully prepared and bursting with flavor. The dish that won us over the most was the linguine with sea urchins and shrimp tartare, simply phenomenal: perfect balance, excellent ingredients, and an intense yet refined flavor. Attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. A place where you can taste the quality and passion for seafood.

I have to thank my friends (Steve and Raffa) who introduced me to this restaurant in October, but I must also compliment the owner for the welcome he gave us and for the excellent cuisine! I wholeheartedly recommend going in and discovering flavors you will fall in love with forever. My compliments, truly.

I've been back after a while and it's always top notch. The chef's recommendations are always spot on. The fish is exquisite, incredibly fresh, and divinely cooked. Abundance is the motto of this restaurant! We ordered calamarata with lobster and amberjack sauce, where the fish was truly abundant. The seafood salad and breaded anchovies were also incredibly fresh. The gratinated calamari was also exceptional. All this in the relaxing atmosphere of an elegant and refined restaurant. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Congratulations!!! I'll be back soon because it's worth it.

Excellent dinner in a truly exceptional setting, impeccable service, and incredibly fresh fish.
