Three of us arrived, without a reservation and late, but they still made room for us; highly recommended, filling and authentic dishes at a fair price.

We were there for lunch. The food was good. Service was quick and the prices are very good.

The younger ones rode their bikes up for a super-delicious family lunch... spectacular food (the sous vide ribs were divine, but everything else was equally as good... platters, pizzoccheri, polenta, braised meat, and mouth-watering homemade cakes!). Spectacular atmosphere, super-friendly staff, impeccable service... Francesca, the masterful director, was incredibly attentive despite the full house and the constant table changes. Highly recommended! ❤️

We hiked around the Cancano lakes. We stopped at Solena for lunch at the end of the trail. We were greeted with a wonderful smile and great courtesy. The food was excellent, top-quality; we had the ribs with polenta; I don't think I've ever had anything so good. Finally, a classic mountain refuge!!! Compliments to everyone, from the chef to the waiters. We'll definitely be back.

I stopped at this refuge last year for breakfast after a night in a tent, and besides the delicious cake, I was also impressed by the kindness of Daniele and his girlfriend, who run the refuge. So I promised myself I'd return, and last Saturday I stopped for lunch. What can I say... Everything was exceptional. Starting with the refuge, which is a bit out of the way compared to the others, but has nothing to envy; in fact, it's greatly enhanced by its tranquility. It has plenty of outdoor tables, perfect for sunny days, the food is truly excellent, with generous portions (the ribs with polenta are truly spectacular), and fast service. One of the things that struck me most was the helpfulness and kindness of all the staff. You can really see all the love and passion they put into this job, and that's not a given these days. Congratulations guys! And see you soon 😊

Even though we were caught on the first day of opening, we had a great meal. The welcome was excellent, as was the service. I won't comment on the place: just look at the photos. Keep it up! See you soon.
