09/10/2025: A hidden gem in the heart of Bergamo. The place is located in a courtyard on one of the main streets of the city center. As soon as you enter, you'll find a counter full of delicious treats that I assure you will be eager to try. Depending on the season, you can find different types of cakes, both puff pastry and leavened. I chose a carrot and blueberry cake and a cinnamon roll. The cake was delicious, accompanied by a sauce and fresh blueberries. The cinnamon roll was light and had a nice cinnamon flavor. I would have loved to try it with its icing, which I think would have made it even better and more special. The place is beautifully decorated, and you feel pampered here, like you're in a tranquil haven, yet just outside the frenetic city—the perfect place for a break. I'd love to return to try other cake flavors, but especially for their lunch options.

28/09/2025: Called in here for a coffee with my wife whilst exploring Bergamo. Was pleasant enough and lovely to sit in the courtyard to have our drinks.

09/10/2025: One of the best culinary offerings in Italy: high-quality fish and seafood at a good price. Tired of eating pizza and pasta, we went in search of some seafood. We ordered the following: - Appetizers: grilled octopus, delicious 5/5. - Grilled shrimp burger. Delicious! 5/5 (the fries could be better) - Lobster pasta 5/5. We paid 67 euros.

06/10/2025: I was so interested in this restaurant, the first one to let you scan a menu with your phone! 1. The service was fantastic! And there was no table charge! After we were seated, the waiter explained, "We have dishes not on the menu, like fried anchovies, etc." However, our English wasn't very good, and he didn't quite understand what we were saying. He then used my phone's translation app to type out some of the information for us, patiently explaining his own English issues. 2. The food was excellent! We ordered a fried food platter and a burger, which was more than enough for us. The fried food was even a little greasy after it cooled, so we didn't eat it. The fried food was delicious, so you can be assured! 3. The wine was also excellent! We finished our order with a glass of their house wine, which had a light tannic flavor, grapey aroma, and was very drivable. Highly recommended! (Though I rarely drink red wine or wine in China, so it's a matter of personal preference.) Overall, I highly recommend it!

18/10/2025: Romantic dinner, Saturday. Quick and courteous welcome. The waiters were very young but motivated and well-trained. Very nice location. Very good food. We tried the autumn tasting menu and it was a wonderful discovery of flavors and textures. The price was fair. Recommended!!!

10/10/2025: Excellent food and a very welcoming atmosphere. Service was a bit slow both times I've been there. It's important to note that this isn't due to the wait staff, who are fantastic. The place is probably a little understaffed. In any case, recommended.

23/10/2025: A historic restaurant in the center of Catania specializing in Thai food. The place is very carefully crafted, charming, and decorated in a traditional style. Excellent service, starting with the welcome drink and the friendly and attentive staff. The menu is rich in delicious dishes, but I wanted to start with the things I knew I'd like but didn't expect so much. The mixed appetizers and chicken pad thai were delicious. The portions are very generous, so I recommend sharing and trying multiple dishes. Fair price ✅

24/10/2025: If you're looking for a place to atone for your sins with sips and laughter, this is the perfect temple. It is, without a doubt, the best deconsecrated church in which to confess your excesses. The manager is as far from the Inquisition as possible: welcoming, friendly, and always ready to forgive those who ask for "one more round." The waiters are a living example of redemption: kind, helpful, and always smiling—even when faced with the most hardened sinners. The outdoor courtyard is a great place to meditate between sips and a cigarette, while inside you can talk freely without risking disturbing any prayers—except for the one for another cocktail. The little church is a perfect place to practice the ritual of drinking, celebrate conviviality, and, why not, seek a little absolution... in the depths of a well-crafted glass. A small, secular ritual that unites, reconciles, and celebrates the joy of others' presence. A toast that, ultimately, is worth a blessing.

01/11/2025: A truly positive experience. Both the seafood and meat dishes are excellent. The vegetables are locally sourced, practically from the backyard garden to the kitchen. Recommended!!!

31/10/2025: After a few years, I'm returning to this restaurant outside the chaotic center of Castellammare di Stabia. It's in a building surrounded by a lush artichoke field, where the renowned "violetto di Schito" is grown, which can be enjoyed as spring approaches. Meanwhile, Chef Pane's autumn menu offers a satisfying selection of land and sea dishes. We opt for a seafood salad and a fish fry. The presentation of a composition of octopus salad on arugula, steamed cuttlefish on fennel and almonds, gratinated prawns on a lemon leaf, and tuna carpaccio on a ricotta cheese was excellent. Response: inviting, fresh, and flavorful. Among the fresh fish fry, we found calamari rings, fried anchovies, red mullet, and other blue fish. All golden and crispy, it was served with a mixed green salad and potato chips. Fragrance and lightness are the words that immediately came to mind to describe it. A low-alcohol, slightly sparkling white wine accompanied the evening. The Annurca apple dessert and artichoke liqueur were a fitting end to the dinner. The open kitchen, large tables, comfortable seating, family management, good lighting, clean restrooms, excellent value for money, parking, and Wi-Fi made it all a comfortable experience. Generous compliments to Chef Giuseppe Pane.

14/09/2025: Poor quality food. The mussels in the peppered sauce hadn't been cleaned: they were full of beards and broken shells, and lacked sauce. The bussolai were soft and inedible. After returning them for an exchange, they were returned identical.
