19/11/2025: To me, A’Marenna is the best place for sandwiches and salads in Sorrento—not only for the food, but also for the staff and the vibe! They have so many choices that it was hard to decide, since I liked so many toppings. I tried the panuozzo and the No.5 salad. Even though I’m not usually a fish lover, the tuna fillet was excellent—paired with cheese, almonds, apples, and greens, it offered layers of flavour and texture. I loved it so much that I ordered the same sandwich two days in a row! We ordered quite a lot: each salad comes with bread, and we also had a salad and a sandwich each. The staff wondered if we could finish everything, and we did—it became our dinner that day and breakfast the next morning. The staff were very friendly and chatted with us while preparing the food. One of them shared her love for Florence when I mentioned my upcoming trip, and when I returned the next day, they still remembered us despite serving so many customers daily. That made us feel really welcome. I also had a nice conversation with one of the staff about her holiday plans. She mentioned wanting to visit Tanzania but was concerned about the situation there. I truly hope she has a wonderful and safe journey—she deserves a relaxing holiday after such a busy tourist season.

23/05/2026: We were served by the owner, a very pleasant, delightful man who made our dinner experience very enjoyable. I absolutely loved their short pasta with smoked ham & blue cheese sauce- just amazing flavor. Even the side salad was fresh, tasty and quite large. I will definitely be coming back!

22/05/2026: I went for lunch with a small group of locals. The bruschetta, affettati, and formaggi were plentiful but very average. Most people ordered primi, including tagliatelle ai funghi that were literally swimming in oil. I had the worst insalata caprese of my life: bits of generic mozzarella served with quartered tomatoes and lettuce, without basil leaves or oil. It's worth noting that the dishes aren't prepared on-site but simply reheated. The service was very slow, the prices were high, and it's definitely for tourists.

20/01/2026: Small space, but for meat lovers, it's heaven. You walk in and, with all those hams and cheeses on display, it's instantly love at first sight. The staff is welcoming and knows how to put you at ease. The cuisine amazed me with the quality and deliciousness of the dishes. Simple, yet very refined. The wine selection is excellent. Not cheap, but the quality is very high. Very satisfied.

17/01/2026: A lovely Italian restaurant with authentic Tuscan food-everything was delicious and comforting, with generous portions and excellent pasta. Friendly, attentive service and a warm atmosphere. I’d happily come back!

10/04/2026: Four of us were friends on a trip to Assisi and had lunch at Osteria Piazzetta dell'Erba—a perfect choice! The gorgeous day allowed us to sit outside, and from there, everything was a pleasure. We were warmly welcomed and served with attention and professionalism: we felt truly pampered. The dish that everyone raved about? The strangozzi cacio e pepe with truffle, a true delight. It was one of those tables where you laugh, eat well, and never want to leave. We'll be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

18/05/2026: A welcoming and warm location... The staff are kind and generous, and they explain the typical local products. Chef Matteo is a genius with a ladle! The fava bean and chicory soup is delicious, not to mention the orecchiette with turnip tops. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves traditional Apulian cuisine. Fair prices.

13/05/2026: Had a beautiful lunch at Borgo Antico today. Chef Matteo prepared amazing antipasti plates for us and was very accommodating of our dietary requirements. Pricing was very reasonable for the quality.

07/04/2026: There were four of us, so it gets 20 stars in total! Let's start with the star, the panzerotto. Dry and well-seasoned. In short: Perfect! The place is small, so I think on summer days, you have to eat outside! Who cares! I'd eat it while sitting on a family of porcupines! The guy who served us was super friendly. Seeing my enthusiasm for the pettole, he also made me try the potato croquettes with that hint of mint that makes them special! Just like my mom's. YOU HAVE TO GO! It's not far from the center...it's worth it!
