Mmm really curious to try this restaurant… but I have to say it was a disappointment from start to finish… I don’t remember what I liked. It was also my birthday! Too bad!

It is with a bit of sadness that I have to leave this review to a starred vegetarian/vegan restaurant that did not meet the high expectations I had.
Simple and well-kept environment but that did not surprise me in any way, in my opinion something is missing that would make the experience unique also from that point of view.
The service was, although always of the utmost kindness, often imprecise. With the girl at our table who was not served wine with one of the courses of the menu, the service of the dishes was sometimes a bit confusing, a table that, when booking, I had been told would be entirely vegan, and instead we were asked at the time who the vegans were with consequent different courses for the table (which in my opinion is not very nice).
Moving on to the quality of the dishes, obviously everything was of the highest level, but there were some courses that did not give that little something extra that you expect from a starred restaurant (and it was my sixth experience in starred restaurants).
The final cheesecake for example, did not have much of a cheesecake, but above all it was too full of passion fruit flavor, which covered everything else.
A note of merit instead to the tofu which was truly exceptional.
Obviously very salty bill having done non-alcoholic tasting and 5-course menu, with a total of almost 180 euros per person.
I must reluctantly say that this experience was not worth the amount spent.

Unfortunately, the high expectations were largely disappointed: more than joy I would say boredom! My severe judgment is obviously to be considered as such, since we are talking about a starred restaurant and therefore certain errors become unforgivable. First of all the service, which seemed unprofessional and superficial with many technical errors and approximate description of the dishes. The level of cuisine, in my opinion, with little character: dishes too delicate in taste. Quality-price ratio not in line with the proposed offer

Disappointment.
I really wanted to try this starred vegetarian/vegan restaurant, curious to see how high you can go with a completely plant-based menu.
The various courses are a succession of highs and lows.
The entrée and appetizer were good.
The tomato water risotto was not very tasty, it lacked a base that would make the dish delicious.
The second course could have been an excellent dish: seitan alla cacciatora was delicious, unfortunately the tomato carpaccio and the raspberries on the side made the whole dish sour, ruining the flavor of the seitan.
The dessert was not bad but you could only taste the passion fruit.
A note of merit for the tasting of non-alcoholic drinks.
The service was kind and at the same time very imprecise. So many mistakes and carelessness, which should not happen from a restaurant of this level.
For a bill of almost €180 per person and a Michelin star I expected much more.

Very interesting experience, we took 2 vegan courses. Most of the food was tasty and well thought ,except a few we didn’t like very much.
Also we felt like our waiter didn’t like us. Let’s say I’ve had better experiences in Michelin star restaurants. So I don’t feel like it’s worth this much money (350 euros for 2, including one glass of wine each)

What can I say... what an experience... an explosion of taste, of different textures, of unusual colors in the dishes, aromas and ingredients I've never tasted. Great skill of the chefs. 7-course tasting menu, with some extra finger food.
High level service. Anyone who has never tried haute cuisine at Joia will certainly not be disappointed.

Abbiamo cenato a San Valentino. Una straordinaria scoperta che non mi ha fatto rimpiangere la carne o il pesce. Presentazione dei piatti che e’ una festa per gli occhi; materie prime eccellenti e ricerca minuziosa di bilanciamenti e accostamenti inusuali. Personale impeccabile per professionalità, gentilezza e attenzione. Grazie della splendida serata

Siamo stati ieri sera, avevo regalato questa cena come regalo di Natale a mio marito e abbiamo avuto occasione di andarci in questi giorni. Che dire, io sono una persona che fa davvero davvero fatica a mangiare le verdure. Se avessi uno chef a casa che cucina come cucinano in questo ristorante, potrebbero diventare il mio piatto preferito. Ovviamente "cucinare le verdure" è un insulto a ciò che fanno, dove esiste un profondo rispetto per la materia prima e per la nostra terra.
Ogni piatto era una sorpresa e un piacere, oltre che per gli occhi, per il palato. Un tripudio di colori, sapori e profumi. Noi ci siamo fatti guidare oltre che sui piatti, anche sul vino. Scelte molto indicate, e vini particolari. Giuro che mai avrei pensato di abbinare un piatto "di verdure" ad un barolo. Eppure, sulla portata principale ci è stato in modo eccellente.
Degustazione a 360 gradi.
Penso che ci torneremo. È stata davvero un esperienza perfetta.
