29/07/2024: We had a wonderful Buon Viaggio cena here last Friday with our family group of 11. The staff were quick to accommodate our large group with a well setup table, which was convenient for everyone. The food was the top, very excellent dishes all around. The gentleman playing piano in the interesting, cozy space really elevated the atmosphere. Thank you!

28/07/2024: Molto soddisfatti della cena di questa sera. Ordinato un giro di antipasti (formaggi con miele, cicoria ripassata, patate al forno) e poi i piatti principali (cacio e pepe, tonnarelli con pomodoro, mozzarella e melanzane e una caprese) . Tutto molto buono. Personale gentile e preparato. Il locale è storico,bagni adeguati. Unico difetto: l' aria condizionata inesistente nella nostra sala. Potremmo anche tornare.

In addition to being very satisfied with the quality and preparation of the dishes and the service, it is the staff and the environment that make the difference. All genuinely friendly and hospitable, of those environments that you would never want to leave. Very honest prices. We will return as soon as possible.

24/08/2024: A nice place with a quiet and pleasant outdoor space. We took the mix of typical appetizers (excellent, both cured meats and cheeses and the vegetarian part) accompanied by a tasty fried pizza, plus the sheep's kebabs, delicious, and the sliced ​​meat. The cut is one of the best I have ever eaten, very high quality meat, very tender. The bitters served at the end of the meal are also very good. The service was quick and very courteous. Advised!

31/08/2024: Everything on the menu is super quality. The place is really beautiful inside a completely rustic house. The staff is super helpful and kind. A place to definitely return when visiting the surrounding areas.

25/08/2024: I give 5 stars because it is not possible to give 6, 7, 24 or 180. Essential menu, young, approachable, helpful staff. Regarding the quality and abundance of the dishes, I don't think it is necessary to say that you are traveling on another planet. The homemade mountain pine scagnappa finally gives you that wake-up call that you need and that too often you forget to need and, in the meantime, if you listen carefully you may also be lucky enough to hear some real-life anecdotes from the paròn de Marco house. I think you can feel between the lines that at the first opportunity you go back without even thinking too much. Great!

30/08/2024: We came here based on the Google reviews. The Lasagna and Tiramisu were delicious and cheap compared to other dining options. Service also excellent and friendly. The seats inside are not super cozy, but the food makes you forget this.

26/08/2024: Great local gem close to the Pitti Palace. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious, particularly the "Pitti". The only thing better than the sandwiches was the homemade Tiramisu. Truly happiness on a plate that I did not want to finish. The service was also very friendly. Highly recommend this place!

20/08/2024: My wife and I have been regular visitors to the village of Sant'Agata, but this time, we decided to book dinner at the renowned Don Alfonso 1890. To ensure a seamless dining experience, I contacted the restaurant eight months in advance to inquire about their vegetarian menu. They promptly confirmed that they could accommodate our dietary preferences and even provided us with a sample tasting menu upon request. I must say, everything about this place is truly amazing. Before our dinner, we were given a fascinating tour of the restaurant's wine cellar, which extends several hundred feet underground to the bottom of a well. Although the oldest wine in their collection dates back to 1890, it is not fit for consumption. Interestingly, the most expensive wine they have is an Italian wine priced at €40,000 per bottle (unfortunately, a bit out of our budget). During our visit, we had the pleasure of meeting the chef and owner of the restaurant and hotel. They warmly greeted guests in the restaurant and even invited us into the kitchen, where we witnessed the food preparation process and received a description of each kitchen station. After the kitchen tour, we were offered aperitifs, which we enjoyed in the beautiful gardens of the hotel. It was a delightful experience. As my wife is a vegetarian and I am a carnivore, we both opted for our own tasting menus. The first dish was preceded by a chef's welcome course not on the menu. I must say, the food was absolutely sublime. Every single bite was a delight, and despite the seemingly small portions, we left the restaurant feeling incredibly satisfied. In fact, we were so full that we couldn't even enjoy the petit fours. We decided to take them with us and gifted them to the staff at the Jaccarino hotel where we were staying. I must commend the staff at Don Alfonso 1890 for their exceptional service. They were engaging, polite, and personable, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. One unique touch that caught my attention was the TV screens in the restaurant, which were turned 90 degrees into portrait mode. While you won't be watching the news or your favorite shows during dinner, you can observe the kitchen staff as they prepare and cook your food. I found this to be a wonderful addition that enhanced the overall dining experience. Additionally, there is a gift shop at the restaurant where you can purchase books, pasta sauces, and other items. My wife took advantage of this and bought some gifts for our friends the next day. Given our incredible experience, we have already made plans to return to the hotel next year, and without a doubt, we will be booking another dinner at Don Alfonso 1890.

16/08/2024: Siamo stati qui per festeggiare un evento con degli amici, c’è poco da raccontare esperienza unica tutto perfetto posto incantevole e cantina dei vini unica al mondo. La famiglia Iaccarino ci ha accolto come se eravamo di casa, abbiamo trascorso una serata eccezionale lo consiglio a tutti coloro che vogliono vivere un’esperienza stellata.

24/08/2024: I would never have thought that such a beautiful place existed. You think you're in paradise! A stunning view, a mild breeze, then the smell of freshly prepared food. Do you know the land where the lemons bloom? It has to be here, here the grapefruits weighing pounds hang on the branches, this is where every earthly hunger and thirst is satisfied. The nice innkeepers, the friendly waitresses, here you are human, you will like to come here again and again. Keep it up!

04/08/2024: Leccornie's desserts are always exceptional ❤️ When you arrive at the shop you immediately feel pampered by the welcome of Chef Vito, who obviously won me over with a welcome sweet ✨ Furthermore, his kindness is truly a rare and precious thing, no small quality! The 100% plant based sweets 🌱 are very assorted and there is something for all tastes. Truly highly recommended!

06/07/2024: Due to various circumstances, we didn't get a chance to change and entered the elegant restaurant in everyday clothes (shorts, slippers). Nobody seemed to mind. We were warmly welcomed and well looked after. Kitchen and cellar are excellent. Value for money is great.

13/08/2024: A very pleasant discovery! We stumbled upon it by chance one evening when we were passing through Subiaco. Small, well-kept bistro, you can feel that it is run with the spirit of welcoming the guest. Really good food, I loved the CBT pork fillet, cooked very well and with really well matched contrasts. The desserts are also remarkable. You eat and you feel good. I gave the service four stars only because there is a little something to fix in coordination and timing. Congratulations guys, we will definitely be back.

11/08/2024: The bistro-restaurant is a small place in an alley in the historic center of Subiaco, very welcoming. The staff were very kind and smiling, the service was fast and attentive. We had lunch on a Saturday in the middle of August, booking shortly before. Very good caponata and potato peels with citrus mayonnaise (exquisite), then strozzapreti with typical sauce (I don't remember the precise name, but really tasty and tasty), glazed pork ribs, delicious!! The panna cotta with homemade berry sauce is also not bad. An enjoyable meal that we will remember, congratulations!

19/08/2024: Ristorante a gestione familiare con menu fisso (in nome omen!) a 35Euro deciso giorno per giorno . Tutto cucinato perfettamente, gusti autentici, delizia per il palato adorabile come la cucina della mamma. Guidati da Marco e sua moglie si arriva al dolce soddisfatti ma non appesantiti. Segnalo i tordelli favolosi che si sciolgono in bocca, gnocchi ai funghi dormienti delicati e gustosi e pollo al coccio, ma chissà se li avrete anche voi ;) Un'esperienza davvero originale per uscire dalla routine dei ristoranti con lucine led e piatti finto Michelin...
