We came across this restaurant by accident but what a pleasure it was! A definite must visit when in Tricase! The owner Antonio is so passionate about his restaurant and the food, cooked by his mother, is absolutely amazing!

Antonio is super enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. He uses a translate app for those guests who don’t speak Italian. They don’t have white wine by the glass, but the rose, despite its colour, was a good alternative. The polpette (meatballs) and aubergine were delicious starters. The beef and pasta very tasty mains. Homemade bread .. so nice. “Mamma” was doing the cooking. Absolutely worthy a visit.

The most incredible, beautiful, special evening we could have asked for. Unbelievable service from start to finish. The food was perfect and beautifully presented and delicious. We have left very full and very in love with the restaurant and Tricase. Thank you - we will be back.

Coming back here every time is a sure thing. We ate divinely, thanks to the authentic, carefully prepared cuisine, rich in authentic flavors. The restaurant, historic and meticulously maintained, exudes warmth and authenticity from the very first moment. The host, Antonio, welcomed us with rare kindness, making us feel immediately at home. With great passion and expertise, he recommended extraordinary dishes, prepared with the highest-quality products, many of which are locally sourced and sourced directly from his own garden. His love for his land and his origins is evident in every detail. Special mention also goes to the oil, which is truly exceptional, and the homemade bread made with unique and refined flours. Every course was an experience: simple but never banal flavors, carefully crafted and crafted. The service is attentive, present, and always discreet. Antonio is a helpful, spontaneous, and deeply passionate person, and this passion shines through in his dishes. This isn't our first time here, and it certainly won't be our last. It's one of those places that never disappoints!

I won't reveal what I ate, because I don't want to influence anyone's experience. When there's an attentive owner who explains and advises with passion, the best choice is to trust him: you can never go wrong. An excellent dinner in a truly enchanting location. Il Chiostro degli Scolopi is an elegant and welcoming restaurant, with a refined yet familiar atmosphere. The dishes are meticulously prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, showcasing the flavors of the Salento region. The service was impeccable: the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. The location was also beautiful, perfect for a romantic dinner or a special evening with friends or family. Excellent value. Definitely a place to return to and one I recommend to anyone looking for good food and a truly unique setting.

During our trip to Salento, we decided to try this restaurant for its beautiful location and its menu, unlike anything found by the sea. Antonio was immediately welcoming and cheerful. He explained the menu, recommended the wine, and delighted us with small appetizers before our main courses. At the end of the meal, he also told us about the place and a bit of its history before we left. What more can I say except that it's an absolute must-see.
