09/10/2025: Highly recommended! This was our second time there and we were not disappointed. The service was extremely friendly and unobtrusive, always present, leaving no wish unfulfilled. The menu was perfectly tailored to the season, and we were treated to superb quality food, including cauliflower mousse with beetroot, pumpkin cream soup, tartar sauce, dumplings with porcini mushroom filling, and burrata. Everything was lovingly prepared and presented with great craftsmanship. The cocoa butter banana with banana cream was another eye-catcher at the end. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

23/10/2025: Prices are high, but the food is truly delicious! The place is very small and doesn't even have a bathroom, but that's acceptable for a fast food restaurant. The food, however, is truly excellent, and everything is completely gluten-free! A great place for someone with celiac disease like me. The owner is very kind and helpful. The only thing that leaves me a little perplexed are the prices, which are quite high for a fast food restaurant, although I must say the portions are quite generous. Recommended!

24/10/2025: An excellent place in the heart of Giovinazzo's historic center, located on a side street off Piazza Benedettine. The owner is professional, friendly, and always available to meet customers' needs, as are the entire dedicated staff. You can enjoy bottled and draft beers, appetizers, antipasti, various salads, and sandwiches, piadinas, and pucce filled with a variety of traditional cured meats and cheeses. They also offer excellent scottona burgers, either plated or in a classic sandwich. Highly recommended for the whole family!

19/10/2025: Very nice atmosphere, jam packed with people (very popular spot), fairly good food (especially the parmesan bowl pasta as a starter) and overall good service by Hazem (although sometimes we felt that the service was overwhelmed with the amount of people in the restaurant, but overall was ok). The owner of the restaurant is a very kind and friendly lady who takes great care of the restaurant which has been handed down for generations.

19/10/2025: Amazing service. As a solo eater you are easily offered less comfy tables, and at first I was led to a table right next to bar, with people and staff going back and forth. Very busy, and not comfy at all. I asked if I could have more peacefull table and I was led to wait inside. Soon came a waitress asking if I would like to sit while I wait and could they offer some local spumante while I wait. So very considerate of them 😍. In the end, after a short wait, I was asked would I like to eat out. That was my hope at first place. Some people walking by, other customers close, so not very quiet BUT the pittoresc street view and overall atmosphere where 😍. The service was very friendly and polite all the time. Incredibly fast even tough a lot of customers. Tasty variety of olive oils. 💜 I had goose carpaccio, duck and a pannacotta. Duck was ok, but if I am honest a bit too well done and a bit dry. All in, I recommend this place to everyone and I will come back, once I am in Riva again.

02/11/2025: Four of us arrived and asked for the €74 tasting menu for two of us. We were told that the menu was for the whole table. If there had been only two of us, we couldn't have asked for a tasting (this wasn't stated on the menu). SO, to avoid disappointing my guests, I reluctantly had to accept their offer, enduring a PAINFUL menu. The starters were good, except for the paltry beef tartare (the size of a teaspoon). The holy scallop was miserable. Luckily, I managed to exchange it for a pumpkin tart, which was good, off-menu. The second starter was a sample of liver pâté enclosed in two chocolate-sized biscuits—terrible. The first course was spaghetti with a political sauce—imagine a spoonful of cuttlefish mido. The macaroni with Genovese sauce was offensive, and quite good. The slow-cooked pork shoulder was also passable, but they could have stopped it sooner because it was too dry, almost stringy. The desserts were unsavory tastings: a jelly, two pistachio cookies, a mini wafer cone, the kind they give you at ice cream parlors, with a drop of vaguely zabaglione-like cream. A bottle of RIBOLLA. The place, Pignoletto, was probably not cheap for their standards. FINAL TOTAL €324: A ROBBERY for four. The staff also deserves criticism: "They're too showy," so they risked an appeal.
