I have to thank the Billis twins for their wonderful hospitality at their osteria. It's a wonderful place, rich and innovative. I also have to thank their staff, who welcomed us like family, and I had the opportunity to meet one of the twins, Filippo, with whom I was able to chat almost as if we were two friends. The menu was beautiful and unique, thank you so much ❤️❤️😜😋

We didn't book, but the staff managed to seat three of us on Sunday evening. It was a great experience, and it's truly amazing that there's not a store in front of the station, but a Michelin-starred restaurant. Beautiful.

Today for lunch with family, after a long time wanting to try this fantastic restaurant run by these brothers, we were very impressed. The atmosphere is beautiful and elegant, with very professional and friendly staff. The cuisine is excellent, made with top-quality ingredients, and the chef's creativity is brilliant. We will definitely be back.

The place is beautiful. I'd dare say New York-like. With Italian warmth, colors, and smells. The staff is excellent, from the dining room to the counter to behind the scenes. They run with precision. Every now and then a glance at the fire, but then a smile. The team is cohesive and knowledgeable. The captain is an extraordinary host. He's also the chef 😉😃. I can't even begin to tell you about the dishes and flavors. They're all worth trying. I'm only at quota two and can't wait to try the others.

We had dinner on Saturday evening, and despite making a short-notice reservation, the staff still managed to find us a table: our first plus. The service was impeccable throughout the evening; everyone was super friendly, helpful, and very fast. The atmosphere is truly pleasant, with soft lighting that makes the space warm and welcoming. We ate wonderfully: the menu features traditional Piedmontese dishes revisited with a modern twist, a choice we greatly appreciated. The menu is comprehensive but not overwhelming, with a carefully selected selection of dishes, and the wine list is truly extensive. The owners were extremely friendly and attentive: we immediately felt at ease. A truly positive experience, we'll definitely be back!

24/12/2025: Gourmet lunch in Piedmont Beautiful setting in a small Piedmont village, with attentive and fast service. We enjoyed an aperitif, two glasses of prosecco, and were served four entrées: a chickpea cone, a savory baba, a blue cheese and hazelnut tart, and tomato chips with fresh cream and anchovies with lemon jelly. Very special. There were several tasting menus available, as well as the à la carte menu. We chose the Territory and Tradition tasting menu for €70 per person. Typical Monferrato dishes presented with care. Piedmontese Fassona tartare, rosemary and mustard, smoked egg yolk and shallots, truly excellent. Traditional plinth, roast gravy and thyme, Piedmontese fillet, celeriac, black cabbage, and Bordeaux sauce. Everything was delicious. The pre-dessert, you either love it or hate it, was a very special vinegar sorbet. The dessert: I'm not...a Bonet! Made with the ingredients of a bunet. We were served a small pastry along with coffee and four small sweets. Drinks are not included. Cover charge is €5, 75cl water €4, and we spent €208 for two. Recommended for a special occasion.

Reviews speak of creative, well-structured cuisine featuring traditional Piedmontese dishes revisited with modern touches, thoughtful tastings, and excellent wine pairings. The vegetarian options are also well-received for their emphasis on seasonal ingredients. The setting, housed in a beautifully restored historic villa, is truly evocative, with a frescoed interior and refined atmosphere, perfect for a romantic evening or an important occasion.

Thanks to a friend's exceptional recommendation, we ended up at this welcoming, warm, and family-friendly location. Customer service is at the heart of their approach, and the various courses are delicacies in taste, smell, and sight, all beautifully presented and conveying emotions. Impeccable service and friendly, attentive staff. The value for money is more than average. If you find yourself passing through the Ovada area and/or are on your way back to Genoa, don't miss this welcoming and charming restaurant/agriturismo... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
