03/06/2025: Gorgeous little spot with a fantastic wine selection, wonderful service, and delicious local fare. They even have gluten free pasta options! Try the local seasonal vegetable platter (a specialty of the house), it is fantastic!

They have a great wine selection and the food is really good, if you are in Carpi and you want to eat well and regional this is the place to go.

01/06/2025: Service: The service at Il Grammofono is fantastic! The service here should be found in every restaurant. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our table. The menus were explained, and recommendations for the food, course selection, and wine were given. New cutlery was served with each course, and the service was always cheerful and extremely attentive. We had a dog with us, and we were given a seat in the corner so our dog could have some peace and quiet and not bother anyone. A bowl of water was also immediately brought to our dog. Since we both have experience in the hospitality industry, we were very pleased with the excellent service. Food: We spent a week in and around Lucca. We always ate out for lunch and dinner. We enjoyed the food at Il Grammofono the most! We were immediately captivated by the modern fusion cuisine. The portion sizes were just right, the flavors came through perfectly, and each course was a sensational culinary experience. There was only a small selection for each course, but it was absolutely delicious and highly recommended. The bread, by the way, is freshly homemade. Ambience: The ambience is very sophisticated. The restaurant has an elegant and sophisticated feel, and you can see in every corner that it has been decorated with love. You immediately sense that Il Grammofono is a labor of love. While you dine and linger, you are accompanied by appropriate jazz music in the background, which was a bit too loud for me personally. But that was perhaps because we were sitting near the speakers, and the music could certainly have been turned down a bit upon request. All in all, a visit to Il Grammofono, despite the high price range, is absolutely recommended (for example, at the end of the holiday season)! Tip for tourists: Il Grammofono does not offer typical Italian cuisine.

02/05/2025: Encantador e íntimo – una experiencia gastronómica encantadora Cenamos en este pequeño restaurante familiar con menos de 10 mesas, y fue una experiencia maravillosamente íntima y auténtica. El entorno era acogedor, y el servicio era cálido y personal - nuestra camarera hablaba un poco de inglés y era muy útil para guiarnos a través del menú. Pedimos flores de calabacín, trufa fetichínica y ñoquis, todo muy bien preparado y lleno de sabor. Los platos de trufa en particular eran ricos e indulgentes, aunque ligeramente en el lado más caro, que vale la pena destacar. En general, la comida era excelente, el servicio era amable y atento, y el ambiente lo hizo sentir como una joya local escondida. Un lugar encantador para una comida tranquila y deliciosa en Roma.

12/06/2025: We absolutely loved this place and the welcome. The room was ultra-comfortable, with a whirlpool tub, ultra-quiet, and a beautiful bar. The bedding was perfect. A surprise meal with a divine wine pairing. The produce was local, grown, and treated with respect. Each dish was explained its origin and history. The two sisters who served us made us feel at home, sharing stories about their family. We were able to visit and chat with the chef, who is passionate about his work. At breakfast, we left with a selection of pastries and each a box of cookies. Thank you so much for sharing, which brought tears to my eyes.

11/05/2025: Un ristorante stellato dove torniamo sempre volentieri: ogni volta ci sorprende, incanta e soddisfa fino all’ultimo piatto. Contrariamente a quanto si pensa, non si esce affamati, ma appagati nel corpo e nella mente. Un’esperienza gastronomica completa, da provare e riprovare!

21/04/2025: We were impressed by the Vecchio Ristoro in Aosta. The 5-course menu was sensational, every single course was a culinary masterpiece. Excellent quality ingredients provided one culinary delight after another through excellent craftsmanship and creativity. The risotto was one of the best, if not the best, we have ever tried. The fantastic kitchen performance was perfectly complemented by the professional, attentive and courteous service. The elegant ambience of the former mill was very appealing, but the only criticism of our lunch was the room temperature. It was far too cold and we were freezing after a short time. Apart from that, the restaurant is a crystal clear recommendation. For us it is one of the very best 1 star restaurants we have visited in Italy so far and worth every penny.

02/06/2025: Compliments to the chef, refined and sophisticated dishes. Pure Arabica coffee with just the right amount of roasting and not burnt, strong taste but not burnt like the vast majority. Definitely worth the expense

01/06/2025: We had a wonderful evening with the kids—the service was exceptional and the atmosphere genuinely enjoyable. The starter was perfect, the second course quite good, and the wine—recommended by the staff—was excellent. But I still can’t get over the fact that the main dish was a fried soft-boiled egg with still partially liquid egg white, served with toast and boiled ham. No seasoning, just an overly acidic mayo. For a €65 menu, it honestly felt like a joke.
