A fantastic hotel in a prime location for outdoor sports activities. The owner is exceptionally helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent, plentiful, and featured regional products. The short distance to the highway (5 minutes) also makes arrival very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel!

Laino Borgo is a beautiful little town with delicious restaurants and sights to see. The rafting tours on the Lao River are highly recommended. You'll feel right at home at Roberto's Palias Hotel; he's very helpful and always has a smile on his face. The rooms are clean, and his wife prepares breakfast. Many of the items come from local businesses and taste delicious.

Best hotel in Laino Borgo. The owner, Roberto, speaks excellent English and is the perfect host. He gives local tips for excursions and chats about life in the region over a beer. There's great parking behind the hotel, and you can also dry wet clothes (e.g., after canoeing). The breakfast buffet is sensational; Roberto explains where the different specialties come from.
I hope to come back here again sometime.

We stayed in this town for a short time and spent the night at the Palias Hotel. Roberto took very good care of us, warmly and kindly. The furnishings are simple but clean and tidy. The overall value for money is unbeatable. We would gladly return!

Roberto is a wonderful host, extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly. We stayed at the hotel for almost a week and lacked nothing. The location is fantastic, the cleanliness is impeccable, the rooms are great with a stunning view, and the breakfast is unbeatable. There were many regional and homemade delicacies. I can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and Roberto's hospitality and would love to come back!

I was there on March 6, 2026. Absolute excellence: extremely clean, quiet, excellent scenery, very kind staff and a divine breakfast with products all homemade by the owners, from the pandolce with candied fruit, to the croissants, to the tarts, to the honey, walnuts, garlic, all cooked to perfection!

If you're looking for a family-friendly accommodation, you've come to the right place! Roberto, a fantastic person, made us feel at home! The breakfast was 5-star, with sweet and savory items prepared fresh every morning by his partner. The property is centrally located, nestled in the Pollino National Park, a 5-minute walk from the center of Laino, a very beautiful village that I recommend visiting, and a 15-20 minute drive from other villages.
We'll see you again in the spring!
