04/08/2025: Dining available indoors or al fresco under a tent with hanging vines, etc -- very romantic. They specialize in huge, fresh white mushrooms as well as black truffles. We had the mushrooms, which are absolutely not to be missed. Pastas and fish completed the meal. Service was excellent and the wait staff swift, efficient and extremely gracious. The sommelier provided an excellent suggestion for wine pairing. All in all, a superb experience on a warm mid-summer night at sundown. We will be back! Just be aware, however, there are extra charges for bread, butter, still water (bottled) and a cover charge for the "tablecloth."

02/08/2025: Ringrazio lo Chef Victor Hugo per la proposta dell’ottima frittura di pesce delicatissima e tenera, l’insalata di gamberi, songino e avocado squisita! Il dolce… senza parole, una coccola per cuore e papille, che dire: una cucina che vuole rendere felice l’ospite, quasi come in un film, la cura, la cortesia, gli ingredienti freschi e di qualità, tempi perfetti, grazie allo Chef e a tutto lo staff, tornerò prestissimo 😉

13/06/2025: A pastry shop from another era where you can eat the classic sweets of the past, without too many frills but above all with the prices of the past without spending a fortune. ☺️ I've been going there for years. When I'm invited to lunch or dinner I always go there to buy the dessert certain of making a good impression. I bought the cake for my daughter's first birthday, a classic millefoglie, and everyone complimented me on how good and fresh it was. For me it's a guarantee 🫶

30/07/2025: I happened to stop by the café shortly after the market in Lazise. I received a friendly, polite welcome. Fast service. Really great prices: a cappuccino, espresso, and croissant for a total of €4.80, all of the usual Italian quality. The restroom was clean. Many people were having a hearty breakfast there, and it looked good, too.

06/07/2025: Let's go in order: Food: everything from appetizer to dessert was excellent, super generous portions and excellent quality. Service: impeccable. Quick to respond to any request, careful that the table never runs out of water or wine. Friendly, courteous and professional. Ambience: super homely, as soon as you enter you feel at ease. Insane value for money, 35 euros per person, with a menu of quality and quantity to taste. Aperitif, 8 appetizers, sorbet, 2 first courses, 2 second courses plus 2 side dishes, 2 desserts, coffee and ammazza, water and wine at will. All for 35 euros per person The eleven year old girl paid for her age........11 euros! We will definitely be back!!!

22/07/2025: We found this excellent restaurant, everything homemade, the owners are lovely, they speak Italian, French and English...I had tortellini with ragu, yum yum and my husband had tagliatelle with natural tartufo cream, succulent, and for dessert homemade strawberry ice cream 🍓.

13/07/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, not knowing what to expect, but from the moment we set foot in to the moment we left, we felt pampered and cared for by the entire staff and, above all, by the food. The simple location allows the dishes to take center stage. Every ingredient used is carefully selected and crafted to serve quality dishes. And finally, the price is more than reasonable for the experience. If you're looking for a culinary treat, this is the place to go!

08/06/2025: Delicious wine shop that offers a variety of excellent wines, not to mention the fantastic Gin Aroma of its own production. You can't miss stopping by if you are passing through Tortona. Furthermore, the food proposals are excellent and of the highest quality. I will always and only return there when I happen to be in those parts again.

21/07/2025: Das Personal ist überhaupt nicht aufmerksam. Warteten ewig auf unsere Getränke. Als die Gläser leer waren kam keiner um noch nachzufragen ob wir noch was trinken möchten solange wir auf unser Essen warten. Das Essen hat ewig gedauert obwohl es nichts besonderes war. Eine Portion Spaghetti, Bruschetta und Thunfisch Tatar. Als wir schon gehen wollten und nach der Rechnung gefragt haben kam das Essen nach 10 Minuten. Die Qualität war Standard nichts besonderes. Von außen sieht alles einladend aus aber würde persönlich nicht nochmal dorthin gehen.

21/07/2025: It's a beautiful location, the staff is friendly, and I had excellent pizza. I recommend it! The only thing I wasn't happy with was the coffee, which I ordered standing up. But that's okay!

29/05/2025: We were lucky to have our Airbnb right next to this place. Although most of the nights we spent downtown, we were inspired enough to try coffee here and in our last day, we came for some chill time and two paninis. Wow, what a place! We really felt welcomed, the food was great and worth the money, the coffee was also tasteful and the personal was very very kind! Kindly recommend!
