01/11/2025: Last night we finally sampled the atmosphere of this lovely osteria. Caterina is truly a fairy, and with her "magic wand," she prepares dishes so authentic they'll enchant you. Four delicious appetizers, a fantastic first course (lasagna, pici, and freshly made ravioli), and traditional second courses. For me, a vegetarian, she prepared leek omelettes and beans all'uccelletto. The desserts are delicious for those who prefer moka pot coffee. All slow food, just the way we like it. We'll be back soon. Thank you!

20/09/2025: Hands down the best meal we had whilst in lake Garda and I'm still dreaming about their tiramisu. The entire meal was phenomenal, the service was fantastic and we felt the waitress couldn't do enough for us. Very child friendly and you can tell it's a favourite with the locals as it was absolutely packed on a week night. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and atmosphere. Only wish we got to visit a second time before coming home.
28/08/2025: A lovely Restaurant, very welcoming for a family of 5 (children aged 10, 12, 14).
Risotto dishes (shrimp and anchovies) were delicious!
Homemade Tiramisu was a great finishing delight!

13/10/2025: A delightful lakeside restaurant offering both freshwater fish and a variety of vegan options. It's hard to find a restaurant on this island that isn't a tourist trap, and this was a wonderful discovery!
Reservations are required, well in advance.
08/10/2025: Standing on that terrace overlooking Lake Maggiore feels like you're on the bow of a ship.
Few dishes, as befits an osteria, but all well-prepared and made with quality ingredients.

08/09/2025: We had dinner with friends. The atmosphere was casual, cabin-style, and the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. We asked for a second round of crostini, which arrived promptly and didn't delay the arrival of the main courses. Excellent food, short menu. Decent house wine and excellent desserts. €30 per person. I had the roast pigeon, but the beef fillet was also very good.
I'll be back.

22/10/2025: Following other reviews, I decided to try this place! First of all, I'll say that the owner is super friendly and immediately puts customers at ease! We tried the chef's bigoli, which were amazing—yes, you can taste all the ingredients in the dish, it's an explosion of flavor in your mouth! The fried food is delicious, not heavy and not at all "greasy"... The limoncello tiramisu deserves a special mention; to call it superb is an understatement! Overall, the ingredients are delicious and fresh! I highly recommend it! I'm updating the review because we've returned to eat here and are eager to try other dishes! We tried the Mediterranean-style paccheri and found them superb—a mix of ingredients dominated by the fennel, which gave the dish a truly "Mediterranean" aroma and flavor! I continue to highly recommend this place!

05/10/2025: A breathtaking sight with interesting architecture and history. A must-see when visiting Siena. Visiting in August is difficult due to the Palio horse races. A great place to see during the day, it also offers incredible excitement when visiting at night.

31/10/2025: A truly wonderful experience at the Cavallini Restaurant in San Severino! As soon as you enter, you immediately sense the care and attention to every detail: an elegant yet welcoming space, a warm and relaxed atmosphere, and extremely kind staff, always available with a smile.
The cuisine is simply extraordinary: carefully crafted, beautifully presented, and prepared with the freshest ingredients. Each course speaks to the chef's passion and expertise. The fish cappellacci are truly unique—delicate, balanced, and bursting with flavor… truly a dish worthy of applause, a small masterpiece that alone is worth the visit. The other dishes also stand out for their flavor and originality, with always spot-on pairings.
My only personal complaint concerns the champagne risotto, which I found a bit too intense in flavor: for my taste, the champagne slightly overpowered the other aromas. That said, it's still a well-executed dish and a testament to the kitchen's desire to experiment.
Service is fast, attentive, but never intrusive. The portions are just right, the timing between courses is perfect, and the prices are absolutely in line with the quality. It's one of those places where you eat truly well and leave feeling completely satisfied, wanting to return.
Highly recommended for those seeking high-end cuisine, without too much formality but with lots of passion and authentic flavor.

21/08/2025: We were looking for "the best pizza in Milan" and we found it. Quality ingredients expertly crafted for a slightly unconventional product. The pizza maki are now a regular fixture, the joy of the week.
Fast and attentive service, a warm but not intrusive welcome, and an intimate, almost private location (reservations required!!).
So good you don't even think about the bill: highly recommended!
